What if the protest degenerate into violence and vandalism of properties as well as arsonist looting shops? Would you be there to face the wrath of law with your lives ?

For every action there must be consequences

Is it not the duty of the government to provide security and ensure that the protest doesn't lead to violence?

End Sars protest was peaceful until hoodlums and arsonists sponsored by the same government hijacked and turned it into violence?

They must provide adequate security and arrest anyone who wants to cause mayhem.

Be careful Mr president, Nigerians have every right to protest, I don't support the destruction of government property but this protest must hold.

The people of this country have given you ample of time to turn things around for good but it's keeps getting worse by the day, kindly resign if you are not capable of ruling this country.

You and your security chiefs will be held accountable for any loss of human life

Suddenly everyone will ill-gotten wealth in Nigeria, both from government and private establishments are jittery with the announcement of the oncoming protest. They are afraid of the rage of the downtrodden poor people.

I hope the masses will summon the courage to make the protest happen just like the Kenyans. This country needs to be shaken up.

If you are given the opportunity to govern this nation, can you in all honesty turn things around in one year with over 250 ethnic groups ? Be sincere , can you ?

I pray the protest doesn't get hijacked but it must hold, government should also know that actions have consequences, you can't impoverish the people and expect them to do nothing

Atiku and Tinubu are the brain behind the downfall of Nigeria, it was both of them, that form a strong merger that defeated good luck, Tinubu is more smarter than Atiku that's why he we never become a president...

Why are you people so fixated and insistent there will be violence and chaos, if apc/govt are not the ones planning it ... those citing Endsars was that the 1st and only protest that happened in Nigeria to use as justification. So becos of Endsars we must not protest in Nigeria again.

What is the job of Nigeria Police, instead of Dss & military trying to threaten the citizens why can't they come up with pro-active measures to mitigate any chance of "Hijack"

where there are challenges, humans/men think of solution .. haba

There can only be vandalism and violence when the government send in their thugs

Have you ever organize any protest since your lifetime?. If yes don't stop others.

I know the reason for this protest is the terrible situation of things in Nigeria.
Nigerians are really really suffering, for those miscreants and tribal bigots who are supporting the government while going behind to weep and beg for food and transport money.

The government should respond to the cries of the people not threatening them.

No one in this situation will be happy

There would be no loss of human life if certain individuals from a specific region, the "Chinasas" from the land of forest-dwelling ancestors, refrain from destroying public and private properties. The truth is, if the protests get out of hand and become destructive, the culprits will be obvious. At that point, no one's safety is guaranteed. Even those proclaiming "Igbo won't be part of the protests" won't be spared; everyone will face consequences. Why did I single out the Igbos? Did you just ask me? Go and find your answer on X!

That's no excuse to stop a protest... it's a right and not a privilege! You never can tell how a protest will go or end up until you start it! The FG has done her bit by warning protesters to desist from destroying properties and that's it. The onus lies on protesters to prevent touts and terrorists from hijacking the peaceful protests.

You are a big fool.
Your foolishness is epic

Alex Otti is paying your fada 18K in Abia and is still owing many months of salaries yet it is Lagos that is paying over N70,000 without owing any month you want to protest.

Go home to the SE and protest for the sake of your fada

I am not a Lagosian but I fully support Lagos people that insist that let everyone go back to his state and protest.

Over N700 billion worth of infrastructure was destroyed under the pretext of protest. Same infrastructure that Abia, Imo, Enugu Anambra and Ebonyi all combined do not have.

Must IIGB0S protest in Lagos?
Why are IIGB0S hell bent on protesting in Lagos?
Do IIGB0S have a diabolical and sinister reason for desperately wanting to protest at all cost in Lagos?
The worst governors in the history of Nigeria are in SE yet IIGB0S are not making efforts to protest in the SE
IIGB0S have not protested Monday sit-at-home that has been going on for years yet want to protest in Lagos
IIGB0S have not protested the wanton killings by IP0B and UGM yet are desperate to protest in Lagos

This protest is just another ploy for Chinasa/Charlyboy/IP0B/0BIDIENTS to burn down Lagos

Peaceful protest is the way any day. Government should refrain from paying lips service to people's plight. The suffering tie wrapper!

PLEASE DON'T IGNORE

I am in serious need of some cash to sustain myself. The hunger is unbearable. Any amount will be highly appreciated. Please, have mercy.
