Ola9ja23: Is it not the duty of the government to provide security and ensure that the protest doesn't lead to violence? End Sars protest was peaceful until hoodlums and arsonists sponsored by the same government hijacked and turned it into violence? They must provide adequate security and arrest anyone who wants to cause mayhem. 1 Like |

Suddenly everyone will ill-gotten wealth in Nigeria, both from government and private establishments are jittery with the announcement of the oncoming protest. They are afraid of the rage of the downtrodden poor people. I hope the masses will summon the courage to make the protest happen just like the Kenyans. This country needs to be shaken up. |

Atiku and Tinubu are the brain behind the downfall of Nigeria, it was both of them, that form a strong merger that defeated good luck, Tinubu is more smarter than Atiku that's why he we never become a president... |

Ola9ja23: Why are you people so fixated and insistent there will be violence and chaos, if apc/govt are not the ones planning it ... those citing Endsars was that the 1st and only protest that happened in Nigeria to use as justification. So becos of Endsars we must not protest in Nigeria again. What is the job of Nigeria Police, instead of Dss & military trying to threaten the citizens why can't they come up with pro-active measures to mitigate any chance of "Hijack" where there are challenges, humans/men think of solution .. haba |

Have you ever organize any protest since your lifetime?. If yes don't stop others. I know the reason for this protest is the terrible situation of things in Nigeria. Nigerians are really really suffering, for those miscreants and tribal bigots who are supporting the government while going behind to weep and beg for food and transport money. The government should respond to the cries of the people not threatening them. No one in this situation will be happy |

God1000: There would be no loss of human life if certain individuals from a specific region, the "Chinasas" from the land of forest-dwelling ancestors, refrain from destroying public and private properties. The truth is, if the protests get out of hand and become destructive, the culprits will be obvious. At that point, no one's safety is guaranteed. Even those proclaiming "Igbo won't be part of the protests" won't be spared; everyone will face consequences. Why did I single out the Igbos? Did you just ask me? Go and find your answer on X! |

Ola9ja23:That's no excuse to stop a protest... it's a right and not a privilege! You never can tell how a protest will go or end up until you start it! The FG has done her bit by warning protesters to desist from destroying properties and that's it. The onus lies on protesters to prevent touts and terrorists from hijacking the peaceful protests. 1 Like 1 Share |
