Team Nigeria's Flag bearer and Team captain are World record holder, Oluwatobiloba Amusan and 4-time African Badminton champion, Anuoluwapo Opeyori.
That's the Olympic spirit.

The United States are wearing dark blue jackets (designed by Polo), but the team Captain (Lebron James) and flagbearer (Coco Gauff) are wearing white jackets.

Coco Gauff is the youngest flagbearer in US history.
With Lebron James and the others at the 2024 Summers Olympics... It's gonna be lit.

Russia is banned, but Russian athletes will be able to compete as individual neutral athletes (athletes individual neutral [AIN] in French). This is the 4th Olympics in a row where this has been the case (if you include Winter Olympics).

Russia was initially banned for doping reasons.

This means that Russian athletes will compete as independents, Russia will not be on the medals table and the Russian National Anthem will not be played. Russian officials will also not be able to attend certain conferences, meetings and events.
