Truth is, if our leaders care for the the citizens, they would have engaged this Dangote refinery for PMS production since Tinubu came into power.

It would have reduced their spending, and end-price of the commodity to consumers, pending when they would be able to establish more refineries to create competition if that is their aim (as they are trying to make us to see).

Instead, they are trying to choke it, and prefers spending even more on PMS importation than Buhari era.

We have a long way to go in this country.

Yes, the man has been a monopolist in some ways, but the priority now should be the gross implication of the leadership decision.

Most of Nigerians are mumu. The Dangote you are defending is the one directly responsible for the economic mess of Nigeria through collusion with Emefiele and the Buhari Government. He is the one responsible for high naira to dollar exchange rate among other things.

We should support a man who became the the richest man in Africa gaining from the economic woes of a messy country. If you support NNPC or Dangote, you're a Zombie either way. There is a reason Dangote decided to set up a refinery, knowing fully well we've 3 redundant refineries.
And there is a reason these refineries have been made unworkable despite the money they're gulping

If we treat Mr. Dangote and his $19 billion investment in this manner, it will send a negative message to both domestic and foreign investors, discouraging them from investing their resources in this nation.

under basic economics he don't need to drop the price as the price of the product will naturally fall due influx or heightened supply which will outway demand.i guess this was the reason behind the sabotage by Dprrrrrrrrrrrr to demarket his product while they continue to import and sell at higher price

You are making flimsy excuses for the current and past Nigerian leaders. It is the height of self deception or economic ignorance for you to attribute the current FX rate to Dangote.

FX constraint will continue to be a major challenge for Nigeria until the country scales up local production and inturn exportation. The question you should be asking is what has the government (both past and current) done to create an enabling environment for local manufacturing.
BTW, Anyone with a basic economic knowledge would understand that having operational refineries in Nigeria will contribute significantly to the country's FX earnings.
