Hunger protest in Niger State? This is just another avenue for chaos.

When will we learn that protesting without a solid plan only leads to more suffering? Instead of channeling energy into destructive demonstrations, why not engage with the government and demand real change? Protests that turn violent only exacerbate the problem and put innocent lives at risk.

Nigerians should be wise enough to see that protests without purpose are a waste of time. Hunger isn't solved in the streets; it's solved in the boardrooms and through policies that uplift the people. Let's focus on constructive dialogue rather than chaos.

What has dialogue done ? You beat a child and say he should not cry from the pain. E dey pain say the pretest dey peaceful

But they are peacefully protesting, I haven't seen any sign of chaos.
Are you wishing it turns chaotic? Is it wrong to cry out that there's starvation?
I am hungry and my money can no longer get me what I could easily afford before now and the reason is as a result of the policies of the govt.
If I don't cry out what should I do? Stay quiet and die silent?

Niger State, where hunger protests are becoming a trend.

This is just another show without real change.

Those protesting should ask themselves if their actions will bring the food to their tables or just more noise in the streets. Hunger will not listen to mere chants; it requires real solutions, not just protests.

Let’s be realistic...
Did you tell your father and tunde bakare when they protested in 2012?

Hunger protests in Niger State? This is just another distraction from the real issues plaguing the country. When did protests ever solve hunger? Instead of burning tires and blocking roads, why not focus on finding real solutions? It's the same old story—people taking to the streets while the politicians sit back and laugh. If only they knew that their actions only give the government more excuses to crack down. The real fight should be against the corrupt systems that put them in this situation, not against each other. Protests won’t fill empty stomachs; they need to think smarter, not louder.

Help us find the solution na

How do we engage the Nigerian government? History have proven that chaos is the only language Nigerian government understands.

If not for this protest I can bet my balls that government would still have been deliberating on minimum wage.

This nonsense you are doing because of 30k/month or tribal sentiments you better stop. I don’t know what you think you will achieve in life with this work but think about your future. Things are getting out of hand and it’s clear this government has nothing to offer.

Protesting can achieve a lot because it seems this administration takes the people for granted. They tell the people to endure hardship but they themselves are not willing to be prudent in this trying period. Buying jet and yatch?! If protest will make them tighten their belts too then so be it. People are hungry, Nigerians have become relatively poorer and cannot afford things taken for granted in other countries.

I told my Asian friend minimum wage is around $45 and he can’t even believe. I don’t blame him. How does someone survive on $45 in a month in any country?!!! It doesn’t even matter the country.

If you have conscience you should be ashamed of yourself.. and stop being greedy... This protest is enough to provoke any sane Nigerian...

You are birth in a country where dey made you believe man made poverty as a lifestyle..

While those looters believe prosperity is there family rights and inheritance..

You better wake up and fight ... Fight.., fight..

Fight for the future of your unborn generation..

because your own generation as failed you.

You sympathizer of this bad government, get behind me!
How Best to engage the government than what labour has done?
And if you say "engage the government", Is a responsible government not supposed to know the good life the citizens deserve?
Apc promised good government more than 8yrs ago. They give us worst government and here you are saying what even you yourself don't understand!
