Eligibility and Requirements

UTME Candidates:

Must have chosen OAU, Ile-Ife as the first choice in the 2024/2025 UTME.
Must have scored 200 or above in the UTME.
Must have at least five credit passes, including English Language, in no more than two sittings.
Must attend the Post-UTME screening to avoid disqualification.
Direct Entry Candidates:

No additional screening is needed except for the verification of uploaded credentials.
Ensure transcripts are sent to the OAU Admission Office for processing.
Pre-Degree and JUPEB Candidates:

Must register for the 2024/2025 Post-UTME.
General Admission Requirements:

Must hold a General Certificate of Education (or equivalent) with credit passes in at least five subjects.
Must pass English Language at O’ Level.
Except for the Faculty of Arts, Law, and Bachelor of Arts in Education, a credit pass in Mathematics at O’ Level is required.
A pass in the Higher School Certificate’s General Paper is equivalent to a credit pass in English Language at O’ Level.
