The Federal Government said the diaspora sponsors of the #EndBadGovernance protesters have been placed on watch list to be arrested when entering the country.

Comptroller General Nigeria Immigration Service, Kemi Nanna Nandap disclosed this at a meeting of heads of security agencies and Service Chiefs convened by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa at the Defense Headquarters, Abuja on Tuesday.

“We have diaspora sponsors. They are on our watch list. They are watch-listed, any attempt they make to come into the country, we’ll be notified and they will be picked up and handed to appropriate authority,” Nandap said.

The Immigration Boss said the Service has in response to the protests deployed more officers to land and airports borders to ensure effective manning of those entry points.

Nandap said the Service has also stepped up surveillance to prevent foreign intervention in the country.

In the same vein, Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Yusuf Bichi said the agency has uncovered some sponsors but declined to give further information.

The D-G, DSS who was represented by the Service Spokesman, Dr Peter Afunanya said some accounts have been blocked.

He said some of the persons operating such accounts were staying abroad, adding that they were being monitored.

When will you arrest bokoharam sponsors?

Protest is not illegal. It is only a foolish creature that will arrest someone that is sponsoring what is not illegal.

Dumb folks!

This is a necessary move by the FG. We can't allow a few individuals to disrupt the peace and progress we are striving for. Let’s focus on constructive dialogue instead of protests that only lead to chaos. The country deserves better than to be held hostage by those who thrive on negativity.

Finally, some action! It's about time we hold those sponsors accountable. The FG is taking necessary steps to protect our sovereignty. Let's keep the pressure on and ensure our country remains safe from foreign meddling. Kudos to the security agencies for stepping up their game!

It's like Tinubu don't even understand what people are going through out there. The economy is dead already and all you could think of is people in diaspora sponsoring protest. What concerns people in diaspora with what's going on here since they are in a sane country where things work.

That's there political power,..

Those in today's Government are completely illiterates, old cargos forcing themselves into millennium....

They can only struggle because , they only understand how to loot to make wealth... They don't understand democratic governance.

So i am not shocked , the people protesting elected them into office.
