Emergency Braking: What to do when your car Brake Fails

So oftentimes, I've had people ask what to do in a situation where your brakes fail and there's no means of bringing the car to a halt in very little time, with little or no damage done.
The thing is, for newer cars, they come with four brakes, and the propensity for such an eventuality is slim to nil.

Regardless, these cars are equipped with emergency brakes just in case.
In older cars, the emergency brake is located on a lever that must be pulled up to activate the parking brakes, however in modern cars, it is located on a switch that must be pulled up or pushed down to engage.
In this article, I'll be telling you things to do in an emergency brake failure.

The first thing you want to do is stay calm and turn on your caution lights.
