5 days Before Transfer Deadline: Osimhen to Chelsea or Arsenal? Betting odds say Chelsea. Either he takes their wage or loan offer in the case of Chelsea or go back to Napoli. They are aware he does not want to return to Napoli which gives them more upper hand in the negotiation. lordm:Osimhen is no more arrogant than Sunday Oliseh. Osimhen is from Edo state but grew up in Lagos. Lagos boys are the most arrogant set of people so just a product of his environment. Even the Danfo drivers and Okado riders are arrogant. Chelsea and Arsenal are desperate to have him and are willing to do anything to land him. This is just the art of negotiation because of his transfer fee and wage demand and are trying to save a few millions pounds. At the end of day most clubs are businesses created to maximize profit. Think about if they can get Osimhen to reduce his wage demand from £500,000 pounds to £300,000 or £400,000 pounds per week. garykoeman:Droga was one of the highest paid African players in the EPL and richest African football player after Eto and Salah. He is currently earning €12.82 million euros which is £10.86 million pounds. And currently asking for £24 million pounds which is £500,000 pounds a week. They will give Osimhen a wage in the range of the top ten highest paid EPL players. I don't think they will give him a wage more than De Bryne, Haaland or Salah. He has to prove himself first that is why Chelsea wanted him on loan. He will get an amount more or close to Raheem Sterling his potential team mate now Lukaku has left the club..

Osimhen put himself in a difficult situation when he signed that contract extension with Napoli which includes a buy out clause of €130 million. Asking for an astronomical wage of over £400 thousand weekly is also dragging this transfer. |

Richie6:True, but with the transfer of Lukaku to Napoli for €45 million Euros has reduced Osimhen buyout clause from €130 million euros to €85 million Euros. Lukaku deal was a goodwill measure by Chelsea to Napoli to say they want Osimhen in exchange and likely make them lower the buyout clause from €85 million Euros to a lower amount. This week they will work on the buyout clause of €85 million euros and getting Osimhen to lower his £500,000 weekly wage demand.
