Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Control Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling our company's credit risk, ensuring timely payment from customers, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment and minimize bad debt
- Conduct credit checks and assessments to determine creditworthiness
- Set and maintain credit limits for customers
- Process and review credit applications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Identify and resolve payment discrepancies
- Communicate with customers regarding payment issues and negotiate payment plans
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment on credit terms and conditions
- Analyze and report on credit trends and performance metrics

Requirements:

- 2 to 3 years of experience in credit control or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Strong understanding of credit management principles and practices.
