To some extent I agree to this as a way of sending a strong message to our young ones n also preparing their minds for what they would meet outside school, it's also apparent to make them understand u can't win always n when u lose u learn to restrategize

When the winner of the last Nigeria Presidential Election was announced, we were looking out for this type of excitement. But we were confronted with streets of major cities filled with battle ready troops looking for enemy of state.

When INEC Yakubu fraudulently announced the drug sniffing impostor, the whole street was filled with unimaginable despair and apprehension because people don't rejoice when they are robbed.

I think prefectship positions should be by selection. It’s too early in the life of the children to introduce them to politics. The adverse effect of politics will always be there whether it’s general elections or primary school election. The losers will always be aggrieved, hate will be introduced in their young minds, some parents may start accusing the young voters of tribalism and implant same in their children’s mind.

Some kids will never want to compete anymore because they never want the humiliation of losing again. At this age they should all be getting participation trophies to encourage participation.

Its high time private institutions start conducting elections for their union and making it go public so that INEC can learn how to conduct free and fair election cos as it is now there is no ray of hope for this country if INEC continue to follow the same path of conducting election whereby the best rigger continues to win
