Eligible voters in Rivers, Benue, Akwa Ibom, and Jigawa states are scheduled to participate in local government elections to elect their preferred candidates for chairmanship and councillorship positions.

That is how LGA election should be, nobody heard when other states did their LGA election, Rivers own is always different. Btw, there was a military helicopter parading in Rivers state and it's very close to the ground

Sorry ooo for Apc rodents...bunch of retarded homo sepiens....always on the wrong ,morally bankrupt...other states are having their own elections peaceful but wike supported by enemies of humanity doesn't want his own state to have a peaceful elections like other state...he wants to control rivers state from Abuja and I believe this is the only reason he supported tinubu in grabbing power....it was this same hypocrite that told the world while still a governor that he won't disturb his successor when and if he runs his full term as governor...but now is he's doing the opposite....if Fubara is wise he will make sure he remains in full charge of his state.. our constitution and democracy doesn't have a space for godfatherism....I knew the tinubu slaves can't understand it because they have come to believe that remaining a slave of one man is a way of living a purposeful lives...

The reasons are that a certain notorious drunkard in collaboration with the crooked IGP wants to deny Rivers state from having a democratically elected local government executives so as to deny the state from receiving it own share of local government funds from FAAC

Just one Supreme Court judgement is resetting the brains of all governors and compelling them to organise LG elections. The next court ruling should be for Abuja INEC to liaise with the state election umpire in organising elections because the latter is just miserable! They just serve the governors.

Akwa Ibom is doing election today and it is not APC state.

PDP is governor of akwa ibom state.

It's simply because Akpabio senate president who is in APC and is senate president and from same Akwa ibom. Is not doing do or die politics, like Wike is doing.

Over here in my area in Port Harcourt, there's no election. Yesterday I had to filled up my 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 with fuel as I do not know what will happen after this election.
