Please while buying baby food in cartons, it's of utmost importance to be mindful of expiry date. Also, a baby can get tired very often with a particular food. My solution to that was; since i can afford a carton of cereal at once, why not i spread that money into varieties of cereals then after each trial (3 days maximum) with a successful acceptance and tolerance - then i add that to my dd list of food. Thereafter, i schedule her meals to creche e.g Monday: Vanilla custard, frisogold rice and cerelac 3 cereals. Tues: Strawberry custard, Gerber rice and nutriben 8 cereals and 4 fruits. Wed: Banana custard, Gerber oatmeal, cerelac rice and Gerber yogurt. And it continues like this, my baby doesnt eat same food in 3 days. Please note that before i started this, i had a very serious challenge with her feeding - i used to force her to take just 2 scoops of cereal and she'd refuse. Infact, meal time in the house was messy. But, immediately i introduced this method - which a dear boss in my office gave me - things changed. Now, she can take as much as 8-10 scoops of cereal with no stress.

I had both avent and tommee tippee. I preferred the avent as I didn't have to lean forward while pumping to prevent leaking but the reverse was the case with tommee tippee.

Hello, I was searching online and i came across this site.
I have a daughter who clocked 1 year 4months today and I have been having problems with her eating habit.
Can someone please suggest to me what I can be feeding her.She exclusively breastfed and up till now she still breast feeds and has totally refused to take cereals, milk or anything. She only wants to be breast fed. nothing more. she takes bits of rice and amala with ewedu. no milk whatsoever.
How do I stop her from breastfeeding and for her to take milk and eat other solid food.
I need a guide.

I sell a cereal used for making pap. Made from wheat, millet, guinea-corn, fonio, white rice and more..

Trust me if your baby tastes it he/she will ask for more.

BTW its not just for babies. Its also for adults too.

Pls stop giving that baby honey.it is not for baby under a year. I lost my son to botulism 5 years ago. U can google it. It will never be your portion in life.

You took the words right out of my mouth! My jaw dropped when I read her post! Please layolaw stop giving your six month old honey! You can sweeten with glucose but no honey yet please! For the milk you may try cow and gate heard its good too.

Act86 sabi mamas will respond to you soon, I read here how some mama gave their lo semo and milk! ( as a transition meal)And the babies liked it! (Will give it a try when my son is old enough) maybe you can try it to see if your child will like it too. Good luck.

I'm so sorry for your loss, but nt just started using it, 've used it for (7yrs & 4yrs olda ch) though not alwax, but l use to microwave it be4 l use it due to an advise from an aunt who use to b senior health worker. anyway l've decided not to use it for now. May God see us through dis journey of motherhood in Jesus name

The health Worker is correct. There are bacteria in honey because they are partially cooked. That's why she ask you to micro wave it. But it think it is best if we stay completely out of trouble. God will protect our LO's.

Looks like impetigo to me. I used gentamicin ointment to treat my toddler when he had it. Show your pharmacist before you buy they may have something more effective to treat it.

I want you mamas to discuss this issue of female circumcision, although 've heard and read a lot on female genital mutilation but am raising this for a friend, she called me that her 3 years old girl used to put hand in her vaginal and say its scratching her but she 'll only touch there & says it 'll not scratch you again but recently the mother-in-law visited and told her that its becuase she was nt b circumcise and that they can still do it, but she refuse, please mamas what do you have to say on dis? Welcome to da club M'am . Had mine at exactly 4 weeks post delivery for each of my 1st 3 and 6weeks after my twins. Can be annoying but look at the bright side of it-at least you can be sure of when u're ovulating(depending on d kind of FP method u're using though).
