Biyi Bandele's film adaptation of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's novel "Half of A Yellow Sun" is the most expensive movie so far in the history of the Nigerian film industry according to the executive producers. It is a Nigerian film that will certainly do more for the Nollywood stars in it than all the B-movies they have done for years. And I am happy for them. I hope the world premiere will be in Nigeria and not in the UK or the US? |
