Gbadebo is a true Lagosian and not an immigrants like Sanwolu. He is the most qualified to be governor of Lagos state. For long Lagosians have been sidelined to one corner and scavengers from Ogun and Other part of SW have been syphoning the resources and wealth of Lagos. The money Tinubu has stollen from Lagos no true Lagosians have made such in his or her 100yrs on earth.

The good news is that true Lagosians have the opportunity to reclaim their state back from all this immigrants rascals from SW by supporting one of their own Gbadebo of LP or continued slaving away to this rascals from neighbouring SW state. Reclaiming back your state does not make you guys less Yoruba neither those it make you guys Igbo apologies as this rascals immigrants from SW had made you believe over the years. For it is the right thing to do by reclaiming back your state and governing your state. Lagosains, it is time to begin to put on your thinking cap. For example, there are also large percentage of Igbos in Ogun state. They live happily with their Yoruba brothers. Now a quick thought, why are they not fighting them in Ogun? If truly Igbos want to take SW, why are they not bothered about them in Ogun and other SW states as they do in Lagos. Yea, your guess is correct. It's simply because they want to continue to govern your state and continue to steal from the rich resources of Lagos. They knew very well that the Igbo man always vote competent leader who understood ecomony very well and who will create an enabling environment for businesses to strive. That's the only reason they fight against the Igbos in Lagos. They see the Igbos as a threat to achieve their demonic aim which is to syphon Lagos wealth to themselves.

To the true Lagosians, you now have the power and opportunity to correct this years of stealing, intimidations and ethnic blindfolding in your land by voting your own son Gbadebo of LP as governor or continue to be govern by criminals from Ogun, Osun, and Oyo while turning your own royal father's, the Oba of Lagos to mere puppet and political and ethnic bullying, your eligible sons to govern to outcasts and your children children to touts. Don't be deceived be wise, Igbos are not your problem, Igbos have been respectful and helping to develop your state and also helping you true Lagosians reclaim back your state. The ball to reclaim back your state is now on your court.

Werey one would think you truly love Lagos but your past comments already gave you away....Agent of chaos, why haven't you exiled yourself yet, May 29th will soon be here!

Maybe you might want to provide some form of clarity on what you are addressing, but as for me I was specifically referring to the question about the propaganda that trended earlier today, claiming that he never attended MIT. He himself has addressed it on his twitter page. Thank you.

No he definitely attended, I verified that myself. I'm talking about his tweets calling Yorubas 'afonjas' and specifically aligning with IPOB.

For the umpteenth time, the misinformation you speak of which you saw on social media, is nothing but unintelligent propaganda by APC machinery.

GRV has addressed it extensively on the same social media. Go back to his account, read and make sense of it by yourself and for yourself, if you can.

GRV is not in the same category as Tinubu for any sensible person to even believe that he will pretend to have attended MIT! Of all schools in the world to fake attending If it was University of Chicago, we'll understand.

Use you head now. Haba.

Are you saying his social media was hacked? Because those tweets/comments definitely originated from his account and before you try and twist it, the more we look back the more damning it becomes.

Don't even know why on earth Tinubu will contemplate such same faith ticket in the fNigeria of today. As in where election is free and fair, anyone trying to throw up such ticket would have failed even before the election day. Even Satan knows he cannot succeed in Nigeria with such ticket!
Tinubu defeated himself with the kind of ticket he choose to go with, forget the thrill and gllamour he's going no where.

You're the one still deceiving yourself.....Tinubu played to his and Shettima's strength, he banked on majority of the SW overlooking the Muslim Muslim issue, he banked on the core North to vote for him or at least split the votes with Atiku, when you combine both of these things, there's no way Tinubu was not going to win. You people undervalued the influence of Shettima, while your Obi was busy playing the tribal card in the South, Tinubu was busy consolidating the North and as always, the person that wins the North wins the election....Politics 101!

Sure, why not? People should be free minded and it doesn't mean Yoruba people cannot vote other race too and vice versa. That's my point. All the best to whoever the people choose. Whatever the requirement is, the onus is on INEC to create a balanced and unbiased atmosphere, free, fair and credible election for us all.

I like the bold part, did you pass this message to the people in Anambra, Enugu, Owerri etc? Why does it seem those areas 90% of the time vote based on tribe but when it comes to the SW, we cannot do that? Yes you're right INEC must be unbiased and so far it has, forget the sentiments and the BVAS, were majority of people able to vote? Did INEC deviate from the standard operating procedure for elections since 2003? Deep down when you look at it, you'll see this election was just as fair as all elections since 2003.

You get all mixed up.....The whole point I'm making is, let people decide who they will vote for. Let the vote be the decider. Let's allow for a free, fair and credible election. If the so called owners are that popular, the vote will show it. We don't have to involve thuggery, violence, voter's suppression election mal-practices et al. INEC as the umpire would also need to do better and ensure BVAS is used to accredit and upload results right from the polling units.

People are deciding, BVAS is not a Constitutional requirement just an option, the sooner people realize this the better! Furthermore, I'm not in support of thuggery or manipulation, my main point of contention is you asking people not to play the tribal card. Free and fair does not mean people cannot build up their base. It does not mean we cannot use Yoruba pride as a catalyst to get our people to vote for the candidate with our interest at heart....That's all I'm saying!

There are people that believe in justice and equity. When I was in Pry 3, I was in my aunt's class and she would never thought of giving me the first position nor falsified my marks. I still remember coming 3rd behind Rachael Onwuachusi and Tunde Odunlami beating me to the 1st & 2nd positions respectively. She's an example of people that believe is free, fair and merit system.

We should stop this useless tribal comments.

If you understand the meaning of a cosmopolitan city, you won't be tribalistic in your judgement. All what you wrote up there is like saying Americans were wrong for voting Obama (Kenyan descent) as president, Or Sadiq Khan (Pakistani Descent) as London Mayor, or Rishi Sunak (Indian Descent) as UK Prime minister.

Sorry to say, I will never be part of your racial discrimination. The world has moved on from your parochial views and ways of life. If the Igbo's live in Lagos, works in Lagos, Pays Tax in Lagos, Marry in Lagos, Give birth in Lagos, Send their children to schools in Lagos and Live peacefully with us in Lagos.....Why then can they not produce Governor for Lagos?

You should go back to Nigeria constitution and read-up about indigeneship.
This was the same points shallow-minded brains people put out about Hilda Williams been an Ethiopian when she decided to contest for Governor in Lagos years back!

The best suggestion I have for you is, grow up and read your constitution.

They say what's good for the goose is good for the?......We have Yorubas working/living in Igboland even cosmopolitan cities but they'll never smell the Senate or Rep seat not to talk of Governor's, before you shout have they contested, I know of at least 5 that were denied their party's primaries. Want to know why there's so much resistance to having an Igbo governor in Lagos? It is simple as the phrase, "Lagos is no man's land".......Forget the politically correct crap this issue is simple in the eyes of Yorubas, you want to take the crown jewel away, be prepared to pry it from the cold hands of death. Tinubu will never allow Lagos to fall to another party, forget the presidential election, this is his baby, his end game.

I love that you used the examples of Obama and Khan, now imagine if Obama identified with people that are saying America is a stolen land and does not belong to the Americans we know today, do you think he would have won? Perhaps if Khan had said London is not a British heritage but belongs to the multi ethnic minorities living there, do you think he would be where he is today? Talk is cheap man but if you allow your cousins to come into your papa's house and tell you the house belongs to all of una then be prepared for when your papa is no more and those cousins evict you.....Life is all about eat or be eaten!

Politics / Re: Eniola Akinkuotu's Response To His Kinsmen Playing Ethnic Card Against Gbadebo by abbey621(m): 4:25pm On Mar 07, 2023
Until a Yoruba man can successfully win a House of Rep or Senatorial seat in Igboland, Yorubas will always be set to protect their land from potential usurpers, this is only natural. The bigger issue is the candidate! This GRV or CRV is a grave mistake, his past social media comments not only aligns him with IPOB but have any of you heard him speak? Dude speaks Yoruba as if it is French, it's pathetic! Constitutionally he has the right to contest but this dude is a core tribal bigot and a stain on LP itself!

Furthermore, now more than ever APC needs to retain control of Lagos, all well meaning Lagosian should ensure this happens because finally we get a president that would put the interest of Lagos as top priority. I believe a Tinubu would not be like an Obasanjo who abandoned his state and almost all of Yorubaland, let us be practical here, this is the best chance for Lagos to truly enjoy federal goodies, perhaps the federal road projects can finally be completed!

What makes FCT special that the Constitution would give it the power over all other territory? The law is 25% in 2/3rd of 36 states and FCT, since FCT is not a state that is why it was added using AND......Common sense is not common....SMH!

The mood of the entire Nation immediately after the announcement is a testament that Nigerians voted for LP enmas, it's never a rocket science, but this election if allowed to stay this way has introduced a crack to Nigeria democracy and will eventually lead to disintegration of Nigeria since the electorates will never believe in election again, there by giving in to election apathy, Nigeria is gone for good except if this is corrected now

This is where you people seem so delusional, a country of 200 million plus, you sit on Nairaland claiming you've seen the mood of everyone, is that not madness? Overhype and overestimating your capabilities are what led to Obi's failure, if the election was repeated 50 times, Obi would lose 49 times as a house divided by itself cannot flourish!
