r4blessing: I'd say Surulere or Yaba, although they are not on the Island. It's sorta central and getting to the office from there shouldn't be too complicated . Does anyone have another suggestion? |

optimusmind: Err let me try Depreciation simply put is a cost recovery model (tangible assets) Impairment is the reduction in the recovery amount of an asset as against its book value Amortisation is also a cost recovery model i.e allocating the cost of an asset over its useful life (intangible asset ) Changes in the value of AFS are initially recognised through equity then on derecognition , the profit is recognised through Profit and Loss 1 Like |

hulkhiharitoz: As a graduate of accounting from an accredited institution, you would start from Skills. However , the decision to start from ATS would depend entirely on you. If you are sure you would be able to start and finish ATS before you graduate then you can but if you won't then you might as well wait till you graduate. An important thing to note is that a new ICAN syllabus would most likely be introduced in 2019. 1 Like |

ExcelIBK: No ma...the old rule said you must complete 'all parts' in 10 years....the new rule says you must complete professional in 5 years and the new rule was only effective from may diet. Both rules are on the website incase you didn't understand them well the first time .The only way she has been writing for 12 years is if after 10 years they cleared all her credits and she had to start again but her dear friend said they waived the law just for her because her sister is an FCA |

murry2: There's really no expectation from you , if you are hired as a trainee in an accounting firm then they'd train you from scratch. To some organisations they'd rather hire you because you won't have to take time off work to write ICAN as you are already chartered and they won't have to refund your exam money unlike people that chartered while in the firm 1 Like |

olusola11: Take a bus going to CMS or Obalende , If it's easier for you to get to CMS, from CMS enter a bus going to Falomo but stop at Mobil Filing Station. The Road by Mobil is Ribadu, take second turn on your right and look for no 18, there is no sign that signifies that it is Abax but it's a grey gate. If you are going from Obalende, take a keke going to Ribadu and tell him where you are going |
