Hahaha hahaha. can u imagine. Same thing oh. I even sent him money to help me print and submit in Tetfund cos I'm very far from Abuja. I asked for acknowledged copy he was giving me stories. I suspected foul play and went through his comments on NL and i knew he was a scam. And he later said I should pay 30k upfront for him to help me get a federal job to bal 270k after d job. I told him I can't, he offered to help me pay 10k from it that I should pay 20k I still told him I can't. He reduced the money to 10k. I asked him for his Facebook ID and pictures he was sending me downloaded pictures. I was just giving him hopeless hope. He reduced the money to 2000 that he will help me pay 18,000. He thought I will send him the 2000 cos it's not a Huge amount. He even called and was sending me different account Number to send the 2000 to. I told him have send it sent so can waste his time expecting d money from d person he sent me account details. He started calling that the person didn't see any money. I told him d money was reversed and he was asking me how far that I should send the 2000 so he can pay the man selling d slot. I totally ignored him.. He has different monikers here. I have gone through his profile more than once.
I know we are all in need of jobs buy we have to be careful not to fall for cheap scam..
I have Faith that my helper will locate me soon..
He collected money and didn't submit the CV. He will surely meet his waterloo soon.

I know that I will be tackle by lot of people here for being truthful and honest and for you not to be scammed. All these happened during TETfund and NAICOM recruitment to help you submit CV and I say it here with sincerity that I never promise anyone job in TETfund or NAICOM.

For the lady that said I wanted to scam her. You contacted me after helping you to submit CV at TETfund and I told you that I couldn't submit at NAICOM that I was not allowed after which you said if I can help you secured job and I told you that I work in a ministry that the salary is not much but I don't know anyone in Agency or parastatals and i told you that those that I know they are doing it in ministry collect 30% upfront and you pay the remaining one after being captured on IPPIS but you insisted that you can't pay upfront and that was how the matter ends. I laughed seen some comments here... As a graduate we ought to have known a true benevolent person. Thank God u understand me. My 5 yrs of delayed admission was bc i wanted to study Medicine. I passed most of my UTMEs but cut-off score for medicine kept me back. The worst was wen i scored 261 in 2005 UTME. Cut off was 275. I pleaded for a related course with lesser cut-off but great Ife (OAU) refused. I kept writing UTME till 2007 which was actually my 5th UTME, i decided not to read for d exam bc i had given up on Jamb. I took it for granted, wen result came, i had 206 alas! i gained admission to my dear great Ife o.

My NYSC delay was caused by an error in my jamb data. One thing led to another, & d so called little problem lasted for 4 good yrs. I cud neither go for Masters nor seek for a job bc i dont av any certification (neither exemption nor discharge) frm NYSC. Who wud accept me? I became stuck in d middle, cud neither move left nor right.

I had to start hawking snacks in Angola & Awo halls (OAU) to survive. Virtually everyone in those hostel knew me. Sometimes wen i took buses to d hostels to sell snacks, i wud meet my classmates & even my juniors back den in sch. They wud highlight at post graduate hostel while i continued. What were dey doing in PG hostel? they actually resided there bc dey came back for Masters. While in dsame bus, I wud bow my head on my knees & weep till i get to my destination; of course to sell snacks. The biggest discouragement was wen i met my mate (2007 Class) on d Street. With great joy, we greeted each other after all those years. Hmm, i asked him bro wat are u doing here? He said " I came back to do my P.hD". What! I av no choice dan to be happy for him o. Our path to destiny is not kuku dsame so i av to help him thank God o Lol.

I missed a total of 17 mobilisation till i came to NYSC HQ & presented my case one on one. They handled it wit professionalism, I commend NYSC HQ staff, They are really good in their job. They were so hospitable & receptive, so friendly & behaved as if it were their own problem. They were so shocked to see dat such a trivial issue held me back for 4yrs. It was resolved quickly & i was mobilised exactly on d 18th mobilization counting frm Nov 2014 batch B stream I dat was suppose to be my actual mobilisation.

My life is testimony, after all d unnecessary delays, i av my NYSC certificate intact. Am grateful to God for fighting for me.

All i pray for now is a very good job bc Abuja is a place where only God can help u. And he can help u with strangers wen everyone else ignores u. Av applied everywhere i can. I just hope God connect me to my destiny helpers. Hello destiny friends, where are u? pls come & assist ur paddy o.

Based on my own experience I got help where I least expected and God perfect it after years of waiting. God makes a way where there is no way.

It has been observed that we only discussing Agency and parastatals in this group. We have not been discussing FCSC which I believe that is much easier to get appointment in ministry compare to agencies. Ministries salary might be small but is better than staying at home doing nothing in the name of waiting for employment in agencies that the slot cost millions of naira.

Don't ever try it because you will be caught unless you wanted to use local government of origin within the same state. But to use interstate origin it most be from the same region like south south or south west or north central because of the name.

Stop arguing on what you don't know. Their salary has been reviewed based on currwnt minimum wage consequential adjustment. It was 57k before minimum wage adjustment of which your take home is 51k and after the minimum wage adjustment your gross pay is 67k and your take home is now 62k

Its even 200+ as against the earlier 177 .They are a bit secretive. My elder sister was due to collect her APL same week she went back to the UK when nakachi consulting did their last recruitment. She told me 200+. She was told by our uncle who works there. One guy also quoted 200+ earlier on this thread which is true. ICPC has never paid 70k for officer 2. I go use sense ask my uncle upfront and any other allowances but that would be later as the recruitment progresses.

200k+ makes me laugh in Swahili.... I see no reason why you guys just have pleasure in giving false information. I won't say much but don't be surprise that your salary as officer 2 might not even up to 100k.

Update on ICPC 2020 Recruitment Exercise

Following the expiration of the deadline for submission of online applications for recruitment into the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, applicants and the general public should note the following:

1. That a total of 376,631 applications were received by 11.59pm of 30th January, 2020 to fill 220 available positions that are supported by budgetary allocation;

2. That only applicants with specialized skills and required disciplines as listed here will be considered. They include: Accountancy, Law, Economics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Forensic, Computer Science, Statistics/Mathematics, Mass Communications, Sociology, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Engineering, Procurement specialists and Forensic Experts;

3. That shortlisted applicants will be subjected to an online assessment test, a computer-based aptitude test, and a written assessment test which will qualify them for an oral interview and other stages of assessment;

4. That no applications for the positions of Assistant Directors will be considered as the 2020 budgetary allocation approved for the Commission (after the recruitment advertisement had been placed) does not provide for them;

5. That the online assessment test will cover the remaining advertised six job levels, and will be administered over a specific period to assess candidates’ IQ and Logical Reasoning. Emails will be sent to the applicants by DCSL Corporate Services Ltd., the recruiting firm, prior to the assessment date informing them of the date and time of the test;

6. That applicants who successfully scale through to the interview will be further subjected to background checks and certificate verification.

They will also undergo a polygraph test in addition to a paramilitary training that will last for at least 6 months to ascertain their physical fitness.

The number of applicants of 220 needed is not realistic. Am sure it will be more than that. We have 36 state including federal capital and if we divide 200÷ 36 it will give us 6.11 approximately 7 for each state for six job level. Which means they only need 1person for each job level in a state.
