Politics / Fleeing Boko Haram Members Do Menial Jobs To Stay Under Cover – Omeri by adonisNEW(m): 12:09pm On Feb 19, 2015
The coordinating spokesman of the National Information Centre, Mr Mike Omeri, has advised Nigerians to be more vigilant, as some members of the terrorist group engage in menial jobs in order to ward off security operatives.

Mr Omeri explained that the military onslaught against members of Boko Haram terrorist group in the north-east had forced members of the group to take up menial jobs.

Addressing a weekly news conference of the Centre in Abuja on Wednesday, Mr Omeri announced the re-capture of more towns in the north-east by Nigerian troops supported by the regional Multi National Force.

He noted that the onslaught against the insurgents would be intensified until terrorist activities were reduced to the barest minimum and eventually wiped out.

Mr Omeri, who commended the renewed support by the regional forces and the offer of assistance from the United States of America, however, appealed to politicians to shun violent acts and provocative comments.

He condemned the recent attack that occurred in Okrika in Rivers State, saying “it is unacceptable for Nigerians to be attacked at a political rally”.

Sporadic gunshots by unknown hoodlums had scuttled the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship rally at the National Secondary School, in Rivers State on Tuesday.

Before the disruption, Channels Television’s correspondent, Charles Eruka, explained that three explosions were heard before the APC governorship candidate, Dakuku Peterside, arrived the rally venue.

Troops in a military operation spearheaded by highly coordinated air assaults completed the mission of clearing terrorists from Monguno in Borno State and environs, a military official said on Monday.

The spokesman for the military, Major General Chris Olukolade, in a statement said that a number of the Boko Haram terrorists were captured in the course of the operation on Monday morning.

Major General Olukolade further said that truck loads of rice, beans and other logistics meant for resupply to the terrorists operating around Baga were also captured.

Romance / Re: Can A Normal Guy Stay One Month Without Sex? by adonisNEW(m): 11:54pm On Feb 12, 2015
Depends on how you define 'normal guy'. If by normal guy you mean a born again Christian, then its possible to stay without sex for years reasons being that he has the law of God guiding him. But if normal guy is just an unbeliver or church goer, he can't stay 1 month without sex because he has no law restricting him, even the 'world' encourages him to make a try. The film he watches, internet, newspaper adverts, all the things around him pulls him to want to have sex almost daily and unfortunately for him, no laws restricting him.

Your welcome boss.
Religion / Everlasting Love by adonisNEW(m): 8:55pm On Feb 12, 2015
Everlasting LOVE: Love is an important ingredient of life. Its so important to everyone and at everytime. Even though people give this subject so much attention this season and month (February), everyone actually yearn and demand for love always, through our action, words etc.
Everlasting love is undoubtedly the type every man yearns and desires always. I'd rather not be loved than loved part-time. The excruciating pain and the ill feeling of the end of a part-time love is indeed not an experience many would want to narrate at all. Its true that man loves, even the bible commands us to, ( John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you). But it will be foolish of us to believe the lie that a man or woman would love you forever even though they say it. This season, men and woman, boys and girls alike would indeed be saying things like 'I would love you forever', be informed my friend, its not possible.
The bible says in Jeremiah 31:3 Long ago the LORD said to Israel: "I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself (NLT), only an everlasting God can give you everlasting love. This explains the reason why a guy would profess love today to a girl and in couple of months his abhoring that same person, part-time love. A woman would love a man and even get married to him properly as the law demands but just a matter of years, she's cheating on him and some even opt for a divorce, part-time love. As we desire love this season and even want strongly a show of it, I would urge you to look unto God. Everlasting love is his lifestyle, he doesn't form it, its just how God is. His ready to love you this season and even love you much more afterwards. Gods love is a love you can trust. Turn to him in full repentance and you'd enjoy that everlasting love. His even ready for you now, Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. May you not miss out on the benefits of this love just because of the part-time benefit of part-time lovers. Be wise friends, God bless you.!

Religion / 1 John 4:8 by adonisNEW(m): 8:02pm On Feb 04, 2015
Love: Ofcourse we undoubtedly know the meaning of love. Some have read books, poems, seen movies just in a quest to know the real meaning of Love. Even some funny enough had used there life experiences to give love a 'befitting' meaning. Before you bask in the euphoria of all you know about love this February, its important I share this great light I found in the Bible about Love. 1 John 4:8 For anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love (NLT). Anyone including all sexes who does not love does not know God. It also means that if you claim to be 'loving' you must know God. You can't claim to love anybody without the knowledge of God. It implies also that knowing God should be the basis of our love. When you assert that you love and you keep up with all form of uncleanness and sin, its an indication that you don't know God for he that loves must know God because God is love.
1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments (KJV), if you know him, you must keep his commandments, if you keep Gods commandments in love then you are loving rightly according to the scriptures. I hope this helps us this season and ever. God bless you.!
