There is a huge problem here with this guy's way of processing information. How did this post nex: warrant this response? frosbel: Seems there is a comprehension limited problem here. I dare you to post your exam results here from primary school to whatever level you got to. And we are wondering why the last NECO exams had less than 2% passing the exams even with the special centers where teachers are alleged to help students in the exam halls. |

In reality there is a world of difference between what you think is a fact and what is indeed a fact. Try to understand that difference. If you believe that OBJ is a woman it does not make it a fact and that is how incoherent your ramblings here appear ro any objective reader. It is possible for you to hold opposing views as long as they make sense but it is a disaster to believe that you are right when indeed you are lost at sea here. Unfortunately, you seem to be the only benefiting from the exchanges because people like you would go back and take corrections without even thanking those of us that are trying to cure your ignorance. A little thank you message would do just fine you know. No worry, we go dey educate and enlighten you until you stop reasoning with your left hand. Use your brain abeg. You are no different from any religious extremist or fundamentalist out there that you criticize. One thing is certain, you have made it crystal clear that your posts could be overlooked whenever people come across them since the thought process is fundamentally flawed and the level of reasoning very low. I knew you were doing to self destruct and you didn't disappoint at all. Well done. |

Every message has a creator. Unless you understand the creator and the motive behind the message you may never understand the message. This clown is ripe for any form of brainwashing by any group whatsoever and yet he does not realize this. |

I have stated this over and over again, you don't expect to change the mindset of an ignorant and unreasonable fellow like frosbel because he lacks the capacity to process information logically and he has zero credibility and remains an unrepentant hypocrite. Argue with him at your own risk this guy is irredeemably stupid. People like him are a disgrace to christianity. I only hope he has a friend here who would be bold enough to advice him that on this thread he has provided enough information to show that his level of reasoning is dangerously low. I still wonder why the forum does not ban people for displaying a high level of foolishness. |

rabzy: Thanks for your response. I have a few questions and I will deduce answers and use them as premises to arrive at conclusions. 1. Are you a christian? If yes, what is your holy book? If the bible then we agree it contains both the old and the new testaments. If the statement above is correct then we have verses that sanction the killing of others. 2. As a christian do you have a bible that is made up of just the new testament as a complete bible? If yes, can I have the name? During the Boko Haram issue majority of the soldiers who killed the members of that sect were muslims. a. Did the quran tell muslims to kill other muslims? b. Are members of the sect not muslims? We can go on and on but the fact remains that we are twisting issues just to absolve any christian of any link to christianity whenever such a christian commits a terrible act while looking for all possible ways to tie individual acts by muslims to islam and this is very unfortunate. A few pointers IBB married a Igbo lady from Delta state. There are muslims who have christians are best friends and vice versa and yet people have their heads on their shoulders. Let us stop this mindset and address issues as they come. There are Yoruba families with almost equal number of muslims and christians and the muslims have not killed their brothers and sisters as some of us would rather have us believe is the express instruction as stated in the quran. |

violent: The problem on this forum is that once issues are raised and they are successfully tackled you begin to get new questions without even acknowledging the answers provided. Rigging of the votes takes place between the time votes are made and final results announced. As long as the results are announced at the polling booths the issue of rigging the election as regards votes casted ends. Fact. This was what happened in Anambra state and that was why no single candidate complained about rigging but about voters registers with missing or fake names and the issue of 2/3. With the announcement of results at the polling booths settling the issue of rigging the votes casted we then focus on making sure we have an updated voters register devoid of fake names. I am not interested in the person there. In my opinion Iwu has not done very well but this is more than Iwu right now. If Anambra state election could be used as a reference and based on that Iwu has promised that the next elections would see the results announced at the polling booth. To me this is what is needed but promising that is not enough, it should be made law and not discretionary. So we have 3 options 1. Allow Iwu to oversee the next elections based on his promise to announce results at the polling booths. Work on the voters register. 2. Replace him with a new person who may claim that he/she was not given enough time to plan as regards the next elections assuming we see massive rigging. 3. Enshrine the "announcement of results at the polling booth" in the electoral act so that whoever is in charge would not matter anymore and then kick out Iwu or appoint anyone. |

violent: Nigerians living in Nigeria are in a better position to comment on issues concerning Nigeria and based on this alone your comments will be treated as the typical comments from some of you living outside who tolerate all manner of imperfections in your host country while screaming to high heavens whenever Nigeria is mentioned. Trust me when it comes to solving the many problems of Nigeria your views don't matter, sorry. For the records, no one has stated that he remains the best man for the job unless you are ok with misrepresenting or twisting comments by other people. At least I did state that anyone can deliver if the issue of announcing the results at the pooling booths can be enshrined in the electoral act instead of the chair choosing to do this at will. Leave your sentiments on the bed when you wake up and you will see how objectivity will help you. |

Seton: Why would you promise to deliver on what you do not have information about? This is risky and this is why a lot of web projects are abandoned and in the process more and more business owners are getting discouraged as they can point out web projects belonging to friends, associates etc that have been abandoned. |
Politics / Re: Iwu Explodes- Says Only Idiots Expect Miracle From Inec by Afam(m): 10:28am On Apr 08, 2010 |
Iwu has a record - the first and only person to oversee the successful transfer of power from one government to another. I prefer an Iwu that has stated that the results would be announced at the polling booths in the next elections (considering how that stopped rigging in Anambra state) to any new person that may begin a new experiment and claim that the time was short if he/she failed. Otherwise let the law makers enshrine in the electoral act the announcement of results at the polling booths so that irrespective of the person in charge rigging would be dealt a severe blow in our politics. |
Politics / Re: Is Nuhu Ribadu Really What Many Thinks He Is? Critical Examination Of Ribadu. by Afam(m): 10:24am On Apr 08, 2010 |
Ribadu is not a saint but he is the best anti corruption chief that we have seen in this country. At least, we have realized that corruption could be tackled and the once powerful politicians can be investigated and tried. When Ribadu was around fraudsters relocated, politicians could not steal easily or flaunt the stolen wealth in public as they used to do, 419ners took their flashy cars to the village to avoid answering questions. So, Ribadu is not a saint, he is not perfect, in my opinion he made some mistakes but in spite of these things he remains the best we have ever seen and may ever see considering the circumstances surrounding his tenure and the nature of opposition he faced not to talk about the risk to his life. Ribadu is more of an asset than a liability and yes Ribadu stands tall as far as fighting corruption is concerned. So, can we then leave out the issue of Ribadu being saint because I don't think he is and I don't think anyone is claiming he is one. |
Politics / Re: Jesus Sent Me ! Calabar Arik Terrorist. (reuters} by Afam(m): 9:55am On Apr 08, 2010 |
I really find it difficult to understand the justification for the positions taken by some people here. The notion that islam supports the killing of innocent people as terrorists do is insane. Even within the christiandom we have different interpretations of simple verses by different churches and as such any fundamentalist interpreting a holy book be it bible or quran and using same to justify murder of innocent people should be condemned whether the person is a christian or muslim. The argument put forward by frosbel that as long as one cannot point out where Jesus asked anyone to kill innocent people in the bible then any act of terrorism carried out by a christian cannot be equated to an act of terrorism carried out by a fundamentalist muslim. We must be objective if we want to successfully defend a position. Blanket condemnation or commendation does not make sense as issues should be discussed based on the merits and demerits surrounding them at any particular point in time. The Calabar guy stated that Jesus sent him. Now, there is no way to know if Jesus really sent him so he could be lying or telling the truth just as we don't know for sure whether most of our pastors that claim that Jesus or God told them one thing or the other are telling the truth. However, the crux of the matter here is that quite a number of christians are quick to dismiss the actions of the Calabar guy because he is not a muslim and that is unfortunate as we cannot apply the same rule differently depending on the person involved unless we are cool with plain hypocrisy and double standards. |

If you expected me to debate any issue with you then you may wait for the next 50 years because I will never descend to the level you are currently operating. Religious bigotry is not my area of specialization, sorry. How many people have pointed out the unadulterated hypocrisy you display here? Do you want people to give you mass beating before you realize how stupid you are? Why don't you focus on the religion section instead of polluting this politics section with your silly comments and remarks. @topic, It is crystal clear that this clown frosbel does not represent christians and as such you can safely ignore, dismiss or overlook his many incoherent and contradictory statements as he continues to make a fool of himself here. Anyone that attempts to take or take the lives of innocent people is a terrorist whether the person is a muslim, christian, traditionalist etc. Let the hypocrisy stop. If you guys can ignore this shameless hypocrite it will do this thread a whole lot of good. He has provided enough information to demonstrate that his level of reasoning is abysmally low and his thought process fundamentally flawed. |

These Americans should stop interfering in our affairs and focus on solving the many problems including wars they created based on lies. I hope Iwu stays as long as the promise to announce election results at the polling booths becomes reality because election rigging takes place between the polling booths and collation of results/announcement of results. The focus now should be to make sure the register is up to date so that no eligible voter will be prevented from voting. |
Politics / Re: Jesus Sent Me ! Calabar Arik Terrorist. (reuters} by Afam(m): 5:42pm On Apr 05, 2010 |
Can the moderator move this to the religion section? It is a shame that some christians here are excusing the actions of this man because he is not a muslim. This is hypocrisy at its peak and should be condemned by all genuine christians. The man's action is a terrorist act and trying to water it down or claim that muslims are using the man to bring a bad name to christianity will amount to the highest level of stupidity and foolishness. |
Politics / Re: Jesus Sent Me ! Calabar Arik Terrorist. (reuters} by Afam(m): 7:54pm On Apr 03, 2010 |
frosbel: Your stupidity knows no bounds. A terrorist act is being excused by this idiot because the person responsible for the act is not a muslim and he thinks he is sane? If you think that current affairs revolve around islamic fundamentalism then you ought not to be given birth to. If only the moderators on this section were doing their jobs well most of the useless religious based comments by you should have been sent to the appropriate sections so that the politics section will be used to discuss politics. Again I state this - you are a shameless hypocrite. |
Politics / Re: Jesus Sent Me ! Calabar Arik Terrorist. (reuters} by Afam(m): 7:29pm On Apr 03, 2010 |
frosbel: I am sure you would not want to start with me as regards your stupid level of reasoning as regards politics or current affairs for the simple fact that your hatred to anything related to islam or muslim makes you a religious bigot and an unreasonable fellow. Do not think that everyone here is interested in comparing christianity to islam or any other religion for that matter. The act remains a terrorist act and to even claim that Jesus sent him makes it a worrying case as religious bigots like you would have embarked on insults targeted at his religion were he to be a muslim. Your hypocrisy stinks to high heaven so do not attempt to imagine that I am debating with you as I would never waste my time with people like you who in the real sense just as guilty as the fundamentalists they tend to oppose. |
Politics / Re: Jesus Sent Me ! Calabar Arik Terrorist. (reuters} by Afam(m): 6:40pm On Apr 03, 2010 |
The guy is a bloody terrorist and stating that he is insane or mad amounts to hypocrisy and double standards because if he were a muslim we would have been on a different level of attack by now. He is no different than the average terrorist who kills in the name of God only that he did not succeed. |
Politics / Re: Imo Police Back Planned Phase-out Of Automated Teller Machines by Afam(m): 4:59pm On Apr 03, 2010 |
I have consistently maintained for over 4 or 5 years now that the participating banks and the payment gateway providers lack programmers with necessary skills to make the ATM business secure. Thus far, it seems they just deploy the ATMs with whatever default settings they come with. Rather than get qualified and competent programmers to make these machines more secure they are removing them. As someone asked earlier maybe one day they will ban the use of laptops or even GSM phones in a bid to reduce cyber crime. And yet while innocent people get ripped off these providers and banks are never held accountable for the avoidable blunders. As regards the issue of armed robbers monitoring card holders and robbing them after making withdrawals what stops the police from countering this type of crime when the issue is well defined already? |
