TUNFOL:
Keep quiet and stop celebrating ignorance. In the last days of his administration, Fayemi has been laying time bomb for Fayose to inherit just to create problems for his administration.

Oh, Fayose should just keep quiet so dat people like U will not call him names? And by the way, let this be the first and last time u describe the noble people of ekiti on that derogatory manner.
[/s]

It doesn't matter what your feelings are about the sitting Governor and his policies, the law is still the law and you have to respect it.

The clown and petty thug is not the governor of the state and he has no official readings to dictate or redefine any law initiated by the sitting governor, he should have waited till he gets into office and roll in whatever lawless slime he wishes for the people of Ekiti.

What if he lays down his own laws and policies and the folks looks the other way just like he just advised them to do? The thug is foundationing a hostile and lawless society.

Leaders champions the law, they respect and uphold the law, the lead by example and set lawful standards.

LASG should try somthing else. I dont even talk of danfo drivers, non of them can drive witout horn.

What is that something else.

I don't think Lagos state is under any kind of illusion that Lagosians are ready to change their horn and noise pollution ways, but we have to start from somewhere and that somewhere is educating and sensitizing people..

We need a sane and orderly society...Rome wasn't built in a day.

lol @ 2nd NB. There is no formal contract on the table and you can not build any bridge without any form of formal contract.

Even though this is a gift to JB to toll the bridge and make serious money for 30 year, but JB is yet to collect the FG's portion of the cost because there's no money and nothing was appropriated by the Nigerian legislators which the folks from the same region are part of unless the Aso Rock clown himself pulls the money from under his mattress or out of his own pocket or even the stolen $20 billion.

They've been begging for 30 years so begging for another 30 years shouldn't be a big deal, learners learn the hard way and this is something they are used to..

PURPORTED LETTER FROM MINISTRY OF EDUCATION:
A letter apparently written on a forged letterhead of Federal Ministry of Education is the major plank on which these political adversaries try to hang their baseless allegation. To start with, the letterhead has no address or telephone/email-address of the ministry. Neither is there a stamp to authenticate the so-called correspondence.

This is more than airtight, sounds like the hunter is now the hunted. No wonder they dropped their crusade and disappeared.

Hope this is not true, but if it is, he got to go. He's a great governor, but we can not have that in the SW.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu

State of Lagos, Nigeria

Bola Ahmed Tinubu is on democracy's front line in Nigeria.

A former student of Richard J. Daley College in Illinois, Tinubu is the governor of Lagos state, a region with the largest city in the most populous country in West Africa. His mission is reconstruction, renewal, and the establishment of a new state. His administration is striving to improve education, health care, roads and other public services. Although it is one of the world's top oil producers and has vast untapped reserves of gas and iron ore, Nigeria is hampered by government debts and widespread poverty.

Tinubu learned about democratic principles while living in the United States. From Daley College, he transferred to Chicago State University and graduated summa cum laude.

After graduation he worked for Arthur Andersen; Deloitte, Haskins and Sells; and GTE Services Corp. before returning to Nigeria in 1983 to work for Mobil Oil Nigeria. At Mobil, he advanced to treasurer of the company.

Too expensive! Southern California is just insanely expensive!

Those are cool places.... Mission Viejo is very nice and expensive, but luckily I didn't spend a dime on accommodation because my job took care of it. Most of the best cities in California are in Orange county from Costa Mesa to Yorba Linda, Irvine, Laguna beach, Aliso Viejo, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano and others. The quality of life is also excellent.

Orange county is indeed a full package, entertainment from the Block to Disney, beach, south coast plaza, food and music. I venture into LA mostly to visit friends, naija parties and groceries and the fact that cali is 4 hrs away from Vegas made my stay in Cali a very awesome experience...

As a matter of fact, when was the last time a corrupt public official in Nigeria got permanently crippled by the opprobrium. Don’t they turn around and get awarded the highest honors in the land? When was the last time any one got stripped of his CON or GCON or GCFR or OON for conduct unbecoming of a public official? Don’t they turn right back around to run for even higher offices?

All the past IGs, the current IG and the rest of the folks responsible for the Lagos police college disaster not only didn't get punished, they received National awards and even Okiro was rewarded with another top government position by the same GEJ.

The man that stole N3 billion pensions funds is still out there with taxpayers money in his pocket and instead of learning from that experience, the same GEJ turned around and replace him with another crook still under EFCC investigation...

The current administration under GEJ took corruption, impunity and incompetence to a new level.
