I weep for this country. |

Let me give a little story about a movie which is actually a true life story. It's about an American ship that sailed out and passed through Somalian waters heading to their port destination for the purpose of carrying out their commercial activities. In the process of sailing, the ship was hijacked by Somalian pirates after some tough resistance from the Americans. During the heist and the brawl that ensued on the sip between the pirates and the sailors, and after quite a remarkable fight from the sailors without any loss of life, the captain was eventually abducted and taken away. This came to the Government of America as a threat to its entire Nation, because of the abduction of just one Captain of a boat, the entire southern sea went into turmoil and turbulence. A full detachment of the Navy, Marine Seals and snipers were commissioned and the Ship Captain was rescued successfully. That is how life is valued in America, what is your life worth as a Nigerian ![]() In Nigeria, these last one and half years under president Buhari have recorded the highest abuse of Human rights in Nigeria. They include but not limited to the following - Killing of unarmed Shittes in the North totaling over 500 humans - Killing of unarmed member of Indigenous People of Biafra (a breakaway secessionist group within Nigeria) - Arresting of Judges, even after being tried and exonerated of all accusations against them by the National Judicial Council - Disobedience of Court judgements whenever they are not favorable - Unlawful arrests, detention and incarceration of humans against the law of the land I ask, is the person who is at the helms of affairs, supervising and coordinating these evil acts not an enemy of the constitution he swore to defend? In Nigeria, these last One and half years under president Buhari have recorded the highest level of suffering in the history of this nation. Nigerians have become far less than humans and reduced to an almost animal-level living where it has become the survival of the fittest. Nigerians are now at the mercy of the dollar, Nigerians are not concerned about luxury anymore, neither are they careful about the beauty of life for all that they seek is food to eat. We are not at war but the famine, hunger and deprivation is likened to a war era. Buhari in just a matter of seventeen months through his nepotism, tribalism and ineptitude dragged the value of the naira by the head and buried it at over 150% from where he met it. This single act of Buhari waking up in the morning and doing absolutely nothing other than touring the whole wide world in his first six (6) months of assumption of power thinking that the economy will respect his lazy body language instead of hard work is what has driven the entire 180 million plus people into the worst times of their lives. I ask, is this person not more deadly than Boko Haram who only succeeded in unleashing their terror in a section of the country while Buhari has the entire nation as his target ![]() We were awaken to the sad truth that Mr. Buhari has no idea of what goes on in his Government, and this revelation did not come from the opposition but rather from his own wife. I ask, who is the President of this country ![]() Are we going to sit down and watch this country sink into the abyss? Buhari has done no good for the past 18 months other than bring untold hardship to Nigerians. We wish you a wonderful time in Germany. 5 Likes |

image: http://images.dailytrust.com.ng/cms/gall_content/2016/10/2016_10$large_Ecowas-justice.jpg We’ll comply with ECOWAS Court ruling on Dasuki – FG ECOWAS COURT The Federal Government will comply with the ECOWAS Court order to release former National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd) from detention, Nigeria’s chief law officer told Daily Trust yesterday. The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and minister for justice, Abubakar Malami SAN disclosed this to our reporter on the sideline of the meeting of Attorneys General at the Transcorp Hotel, Abuja. “We will study the ruling, we are waiting for the ruling from the ECOWAS Court, and one thing that I am certain of is that there is room for judicial review. “... But one thing I can assure you is that we will comply with the order and the necessary provisions of the law as applicable, so we study it in line with the provisions of the prevailing law in the country,” he said. The ECOWAS Court last Tuesday in Abuja ordered for Dasuki’s release and also awarded a fine of N15m against the government for illegal detention of the former NSA. Justice Chijioke Nwoke who delivered the judgement said that even if the applicant had committed a crime, the law still has it that due process of the law must be observed in his trial adding that it is an established fact that the applicant was put on trial in three different Nigerian High Courts and was granted bails by the courts. The court condemned the action of the Nigerian government in subjecting the ex-NSA to indefinite detention without trial. The ECOWAS Court doesn’t have the instruments to enforce its judgments like other municipal courts in Nigeria, a constitutional lawyer and professor of law, Auwalu Yadudu, has said. Speaking to Daily Trust last night, he said the ECOWAS court has no superior powers over other Nigerian courts, because “Nigeria has domesticated the ECOWAS Treaty and the ECOWAS Court has become part of our legislation.” “The ECOWAS court doesn’t have stronger powers than metropolitan courts,” the professor said. “Whatever the court decides, it will be treated as part of the Nigerian constitution. It doesn’t enjoy any other powers than an ordinary court in the country,” Yadudu said. He said unlike municipal courts, like the Federal High Court Lagos for instance, the ECOWAS Court doesn’t have powers to enforce its judgments. It doesn’t have the police force or any other law enforcement agencies to enforce its rulings,” the constitutional lawyer said. He said the refusal of any government agency to implement a court order is another determinant of the weakness of the rule of law in the country. He said the former NSA Sambo Dasuki’s case represents the political escalation of the ongoing saga, whereby Nigerians go to “regional courts such as the ECOWAS Court for the enforcement of their fundamental human rights because they couldn’t get it at the domestic courts such as the Federal High Court, Lagos.” The professor of law said the federal government can’t release Dasuki based on other court orders. He said the former security chief is being tried in other courts on different charges. On his part Alhaji Ahmed Raji (SAN) asked the government to comply with the order. Raji said that Nigeria as a respected member of ECOWAS and the International Community is expected to honour its obligations to the protocols establishing the court by complying with its order. The senior lawyer said that the spirit invoked in the acceptance of the decision of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on the disputed oil rich Bakassi Land must be applied in the decision of the ECOWAS Court. Raji explained that ECOWAS Court was not a domestic court, its sitting in Nigeria notwithstanding. “I am appealing to President Muhammadu Buhari to facilitate immediate compliance with the ECOWAS Court decision. I am also appealing to the Presidential aides especially the Chief Law Officer of the Federation Mallam Abubakar Malami SAN and the heads of the intelligence units to advise the President properly”. “The order of the court cannot be ridiculed and Nigeria, as a democratic nation, cannot afford to ridicule the court order in the interest of the corporate image of the country”. BiafraudExposed:I can see that you and the new sherifat in town are so rattled by this development. Keep calm, no man can never hold a people's destiny for long. You know what my pastor preached in church on Sunday, he said that buhari is just like Pharaoh in the bible, putting in place everything to make God's children so uncomfortable to the point that they will take their freedom with unity. Keep praying for buhari to ensure naira gets to 1000 per dollar. We will get there insha Allah. 6 Likes |
