This is the worst SSC/DSSC thread i have ever seen. Everyone is claiming to know it all. The thread has been abandoned for whatsapp groups where fraudsters will deal with people. From 2012-2015, many people who participated actively on this thread got into the army due to information gotten on the threads. Real officers share their experiences, many of us who have faced the board share our experiences. Would you rather not learn from people who have faced the board? Would you prefer someone who wants to answer questions within the secrecy of whatsapp groups? Many of us who are veterans of nigerian army applications are here. We dont comment because we see that this particular set dont want to learn. We will keep our informations to ourselves. We will keep watching till when the list will be out. I know by that time, you will come looking for information about the selection board. Till then, i siddon dey look like obasanjo.

I think you got that wrong. SSC only run one major course and that is during your conversion to RC(Regular Combatant) course which involves physical exercises. SSC as well as RC command troops. They have boys that do the work for them, and if deployed for combat, they get added allowances. They have enough time to flex and just order their boys to mount the road blocks.

DSSC are professionals like those in private organizations who will have to go for courses upon courses. If lucky u can fall into finance office and you get to deal with the cash flow.

Although, there are special units for SSC and RC like the anti bomb, counter terrorist etc where you go for special training courses. It is nothing like what DSSC officers have to go through. For DSSC, you go course tire till your retirement.
you are very wrong and he is right.

Where poundsmaker deh, no insider this year. During last application we had people who were telling us about list compilation. Dis year veterans ma are on flight mode.
bro, not only poundsmaker is absent here, there are many other experienced people that are as well silent here just because of people that are not ready to learn; and some other sets with childish questions and answers. Some people do not even know anything, yet they belief they know all... Some sets of people even find it difficult to read some pages they missed before asking already answered question. I could remember one learner here that called me 419 because of the info I disclosed.. Honestly, I just discover that " ti Eeya ba pe Lori igbe, eesin keesin maa nba Eeya ni be ni. If one stays long while defecating, some disgusting house flies will meet you there. I wish everyone best

You are talking sense, don't mind these people that think that they have money to throw about. my opinion is that i will do everything about this army in one week, after short listing. If notice is not up to one week, so be it. I need some few thousand for business now
bro if you don't have the money, don't discourage others. If you think these courses are what you can just do anyhow in any organization, you will be dissapointed. Let me give you assignment go to you google, start googling the names of companies that offer aviation courses. Copy their email or phone number. I tell you, you will hardly see those doing the courses and if they do, ask them about the price. I can list some organizations for you here. Check international aviation college ilorin, Zaria, enugu, landover ikeja,

plz I'm interested in air traffic controller licence or firefighting licence .which of the organisation did you visite?.how do we plan for the training?
for either, it is 75k per head and the course can only be done based on request. At least 6 people can do it at a time. You + me, making 2, we still need additional 4 people. You can google the company. Aero consult, adeniyi Jones Ikeja

pls can I use my masters degree instead of first degree? the former is 2016 and the latter is 2010 for SSC. thanks
oga mi. I don't think so because NA deliberately put a limitation to the year of graduation to justify the age. But I think you can still use ur 2010 certificate.

my oga, your boy is interested, but for air traffic
controller licence, I ve made inquiries but have
not gotten any training school that offers it.
which training organisation did you inquired?. plz
i need your response.
some organizations offer it,so far is not a common course that most people do ,then, it can only be offered on the request. At least the participant must be 6. If you can afford to pay for the 6 people, then go ahead.

I don't know why people keep asking the same questions here. Earnestly , try and read some pages you missed before asking questions. If you are a first timer, try and glance through some pages if not all. I personally posted here that anyone that applied under fire fighting shld contact me if they are interested in getting the licence. I have been to some organizations that offer the training/course. They told me they only render the course for companies. But individual can also do it if such a person can pay for at least 6 people or otherwise if he can get 5 people that also want to do the course. For each person will pay 75k. For the traffic controllers, I think same thing is applicable as well because these two courses are not common in aviation business schools like cabin crew, aviation/travel and tourism etc

For the serious applicants that applied for fire fighting, Any one interested in getting the NCAA approved licence or certificate shld contact me so that we can arrange together for the course. #75k per participant.

I always contribute my idea to both NA and NAF threads, also, a lot of people from previous threads that have great ideas do also contribute. But I recently stopped posting and sharing ideas due to the abuse of the threads by some sets of people. Kudos to mimzy for her endurance. The truth is many people are discouraged from making comments here because of some foolish questions and stupid posts that have made the pages to move swiftly. Personally, I decided to stop making comments because I wanted to control myself from abusing and insulting people here. Seriously people can frustrate with their stupid and unscrupulous questions. Sometimes I do ask myself whether these people really attended any higher institution. As a sensible graduate, before asking any question here, you have to ask google first, think about the answers you got, then you can come back here and ask the same question if you were not satisfied. However, it has become a job for many people here to read just 5 pages they missed probably due to insufficient data or low battery, such people will continue asking the same questions that have been answered several times. Imagine a graduate asking whether to do afidavit for the DOB he/she has, imagine a graduate asking the difference between state of origin and local government attestation. Just imagine people looking for partners to go along with simply because of NAF test. Past questions songs have now become the anthem, on top 50 obj questions. Finally, my conclusion is, most of these people asking various stupid questions and past question are learners, some of them just finished their NYSC, some are applying for the first time and some are just deliberately stupid. I recommend that before you ask any question or before you type anything here, use ur brain. Sorry if my words are too harsh. Thanks

Posterity will never forgive you should this thread die off.

I warned you about the demerits of creating a whatsapp group for this recruitment, but you wouldnt listen.

Now, not only has this thread been littered with phone numbers of people asking to be added to the group, there has been no useful comment on this thread since the recruitment portal opened 2nights ago. These are the threads of previous Army recruitments:

https://www.nairaland.com/913892/nigerian-army-dssc-ssc-2012
https://www.nairaland.com/1233736/nigerian-army-dssc-scc-2013
https://www.nairaland.com/1569934/nigerian-army-dssc-ssc-2014

Probably, you guys are busy "conversing" in your whatsapp group - a group that would probably be fraught with abusive comments as a result of over-familiarity and unnecessary chatting; a group that would regularly kill your battery and sap your data due to much chats; a group that would be monopolized by the group administrator.

i initially had intentions of directing some young officers to this thread as soon as the registration starts so they can proffer us with useful and very recent information, but would they come and meet a dormant thread?? And they will never oblige to get added to a group where their personal contact will be divulged

I call on all veteran military aspirants, moderators and concerned persons to, PLEASE, request that Gen Ansah CinC dissolves the whatsapp group and let all communications be done here.

Thank you
guy you better leave them with their whatsapp group. I only belief that the group belongs to learners. However, nairaland has been the best forum where thousands of people can read and comment on any thread. The only pain is just the "add me to the whatsapp group" that always waste pages here. The implication of all these is that we the old generals here have to vacate (by being shortlisted and making the final list) because we have expired here. We have to leave for the young lads. Gbam
