Chukskalidon: The inability for people to understand the large disparity between veneration and worshp/worshipping is the basis of their unwise and baseless insinuations towards Mary the only Mother of God and the reason why some people would come up and mistook her position from the Mother of God to the One Mediator.

Although the Catholics may honour and venerate Mary, they do not view her as divine, nor do they worship her. Catholics view Mary as subordinate to Christ, but uniquely so, in that she is seen as above other creatures.
Similarly theologian Sergei Bulgakov wrote that although the Orthodox view Mary as "superior to all created beings" and "ceaselessly pray for her intercession". However, she is not considered as a "substitute to the one mediator who is Christ.
"Let Mary be honoured but worship be given to the Lord", he wrote. Similarly, Catholics do not worship Mary but venerate her. They use the term HYPERDULIA for Marian veneration instead of LATRIA that applies to God and DULIA for Saints.

I told you the Bible was "compiled" and "written" by scollars and "philosophers". I didn't say the Bible is a "mere philosophy". St Paul wrote most of the books on the Bible but he's philosopher and well educated. St Augustine through the holy spirit attained a wide theological succes out of his greatness with theology and philosophy... The Bible wouldn't have been translated or compiled by a mere novice. So, I guess u understand what I meant.... Ask God for the wisdom to understand and interprete the Bible atleast to an extent cos its not a book..and try to upgrade your sense of thought and knowlede.
Secondly, I didn't compare your pastor with the holy Mary... I gave you an example. And if you believe she's resting in heaven and that your pastor can pray for you to God...whats d big deal about someone resting in heaven to pray for you? Violation by implication means does it go contrary to what God demands in the above scripture. Yes! Mary praying for "us sinners" means that the death and resurrection of Jesus does not make those who belief... free from the power of sin. By implication Mary becomes a mediator, this violates God provision:
