Good morning great minds. I wish I had joinded this thread before my assessment with EA as engineering technologist. I would have packaged as engineering manager.(a member of this group once advised) Is there a possibility of reassessing with AIM as engineering manager? What is the average points required to get ITA for engineering manager? Will the average points(70) required to get ITA for engineering technologist ever drop? This is a useless question but, I will ask it. Lol Why won't more states start to need more engineering technologists  Please, I need my ITA... Regards. |

I assessed as an engineering technologist with EA but I have found out that I require 70points(I can claim 55points now) and above to get an ITA from skillselect. I started looking for a plan B since I spoke with an agent few days ago. He advised I should assess with another occupation using another assessing body so as to be able to get an ITA for 489. Guys, I need to know if its there's another occupation I can assess with an I have 5 years work experience in a chemical industry with a B.Eng in Chemical engineering from Futo(2012) Thanks brothers |

I saw the format for PTE ACADEMIC today and it's really different from IELTS so I'm a bit more confused now. I'm thinking of sticking with IELTS now I need an advice, please which will be better? Is PTE really easier than IELTS? |

Good day everyone, I'm new here. I got a positive skills assessment from EA as an engineering technologist on 31st August 2017. I can claim 55points as my Age is 30 which gives me 30points. I also have more than 5years experience in a relevant occupation which gives me 10points and my bachelor's degree gives me 15points. I saw my new ielts result today and I'm unable to make 7 in all sections so I can't claim any point in the English test(this has made me heartbroken). How can I get a state sponsored 190visa to Australia or even 489 working visa. I would be glad to get useful tips here. Thanks |
