Pharmtj: U r welcome. My same sister in-laws is about to join our NTB league now after my advice, i believe she will say a big thank you in 5 yrs to come . We all just need someone to show us the right way up, because wht we have now is not wht make us a rich one, but what we continue to acquire , added with wht we already had makes the difference. 2 Likes |

ahiboilandgas: Funniest thing is that most of them using the expensive iPhones don't even know much of its functions. Last year my co-brother in-law came from US, gift my wife iPhone worth 300k,i told her she doesn't need it cos the children will useless it, she agreed n we sold it then added the money to her business. Sometimes ago, i was with her same sister whose husband gave out the gift, she is using 550k worth of iPhone , there was a need to use a browser on her phone, pretty bad she doesn't even know where it's located,.Then i asked.. why r u with d phone, she said facebook, whtsapp n to call out. Common, the cheapest android can do that. As an investor, you have to deprive ur self some unnecessary luxury life in order to achieve ur goals, good lifestyle don't come easy. I remember 13 yrs ago, was living in a boy-squater of a ten flat at the front, most of the tenants called me n my family boysquater boys, i will just put on a smile. Withing four years i was able to build my own house n they were amazed when i was set to pack out. NTB is not overnight riches thing, you need to plan 5/7 years ahead now, that i told my wife. I like this ntb investments because it encourages me to safe for the future and also to enjoy "responsibly" . I hate mentioning figures but in 5 yrs time with this ntb, i shall be a KING in my own world,God willing. God bless our hustle 26 Likes 4 Shares |

Anyone with first bank rate for yesterday primary? Was there bids successful? I need to know, cos I'm investing through them comes fortnight . Kindly update if you have any info. Thanks. |
Investment / Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Akin3891: 9:58am On Feb 15, 2019 |
Adiwana: Yes banks primary and secondary rates differ, some bank knows how best to bids in primary (such as stanbic n Firstbank) while some bids lower because they don't know how to play the bidding game and wouldn't want to lose out. 14.65 doesn't look bad but u lose say 29,000 to that rate. Cheers |

Guys kindly help out.. I did primary market with stanbic yesterday, they took off the principal amount but no credits of interest yet, wonder how long does it take to credit my interest after a successful bids? First time going through primary market, it's always been secondary market for me. Happy Valentine's to all |

dharpzee: Can u explain the bolded msg? Thanks, i understand that the intrest is calculated daily, but can it ever go below 10%, because if the rates is not as juicy as TB rates, i will rather go for a TB investment of a short terms, but my problem is that i might not always get a 31 days tenor in TB and this can affect my plan of monthly withdrawal . Also is there any risk" whatsoever " to my capital investing in mutual funds? I'm actually looking for a daily intrest rate between 10 to 13%, i understand the daily rate fluctuate. |

Grupo: You have a point and i hope FG slow down in making last minute decisions that could drive the country into anarchy . I'v been holding back on my 364 days investments pending the time the election fever fades away , but i do ask my self What If nigeria falls (God forbid), won't all Nigerians finances within Nigeria banks falls with it?, and not only my TB investments anyway. So, As much as i understand that all these could one way or another affect our investments, in terms of naira devaluation or affect our buying power and so on, i chose not to worry 'much' about things i have no control over. Yes we can discuss politics partially on this thread if somehow concerns our financial growth. All i pray for now is for a peaceful election and a stable Nigeria, because in it i merry. ahiboilandgas: I have a large family ,so i spend half of my tb intrest every year while i reinvest the rest. When it comes to works,i literally work my bones out, but when it comes to enjoyment, i don't look back as long as i have d funds. Cld hear some waiter's discuss me when i visit their eatry every Sunday with my family, i don't give a damn, if it's worked for, it must be enjoyed while I'm Alive not dead. The only things for now I kinda slow down to acquire are xpensive cars, it raises eyebrow, especially if living in not too porshd Area (i belong to that schl of thought : of living simple outside but enjoy deeply inside) , so i say to my self, i have to relocate b4 i get a new whip. I will work hard, even harder then go get those things my heart desires. 7 Likes |

Gbam. U took it frm my mouth already, nothing like 6.6 in ur case, simply use the 13.1 intrest rate to calculate whatever number of days you subscribed to and you will arrive at a correct result. |

Business / Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 19 by Akin3891: 10:23am On Jan 11, 2019 |
athaliya: Scalper life is harder than u can imagine, and also can lead to high BP n quick loss of capitals. Was a harden scalper When i used to trade forex, my returns most days is within 250k and 550k,and my loss a day can be up to 1m. I watched market movement like an eagle that want to pick up her target, it pays most times and get burnt sometimes, because i make much profit daily , i have enough funds to replace lost funds when table turned. I stop trading because of my health, happiness today sadness tomorrow is not my style of living anymore, now all monies sit in TB while i watch returns flows. I will advice u to stop scalping and try to make forex a business by tradding with strategies, don't set profit target for ur self , just make the money bit by bit as the opportunities present it self, at the end your yearly profits determined if u r a looser or a winner . Also remember, every traders.. (No matter how good u r) will get burnt one day, so my advice to traders is not to trade forex, but trade with 100% discipline n always diversify ur investments, I've seen $300k best investor of 5yrs of good trades SINK entirely withing a week, my write up is not to scare anyone but make sure u have Plan B, C, D ,E, afterall life without a risk is mere existence. I stop trading since 3 yrs ago, left with high BP but something tangible 15 Likes |

unite4real: I'm not only looking at oil price nosediving as possibility for rate increase but the uncertainty that surrounds Nigeria forthcoming election might also got something to contribute to an increase . I'm not 100% certain that these factors can spike rate to 18% but sure rate won't be at 15% mid February. My thoughts tho |
Investment / Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Akin3891: 2:58pm On Dec 29, 2018 |
murphyrichy: Yea, good deal kind of. At least that gonna take care of somethings, pending the ripe time for more juicy rate nxt year. At least I'm hoping to lock up for 364 days @ at least 17% intrest. Oil is now $48, so not corresponding with the FG 2019 budget, so FG might need to borrow more from us to foot the budget. 2 Likes |

Investment / Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Akin3891: 11:15am On Dec 25, 2018 |
sempe123: Nigeria won't break, just my funny phobia for Nigeria election as tension is always high during this period, also was hoping for a better rate come next year. i want to ask people here that do talk about Nigeria govt going default, if nig govt/cbn crash, can any other Nigeria banks stand? I believe no..( it's like d sky gona fall, no be only one man worry) i have no fear for ntb going down, so i put all my funds and i enjoy d profits all year round . I'm a fan of real estate but almost got killed by a tenant during a fight over rent,so i stop building, at least for now. Wish u guys merry Xmas, taking my children out now to where my account balance can sustain. Lol 1 Like |

First bank is such a crazy bank, very stingy in everything. Thanks that I'm conversant with this site, was there days ago, the lady incharge said, no tb until nxt year, i was like wht, Xmas plans ruined. So someone here said, som bank r still running tb, so i went back to meet the said lady, i just said give me transfer form as u guys won't accept tb, when she realized the funds involved, she even had to beg me to run d tb for me. Gave me 11% for 64 days, as i wouldn't want any tb running beyond fed 14, cos of election, hoping to long it after election, happy to come across this thread, it has indeed change my life ,reasoning and of course my pocket. Kudos to u guys, First time to comment 6 Likes 1 Share |
