Delta south has Ijaws majority. Buhari sworn enemy is GEJ and all Ijaws whom he believes should never had tasted Presidency in the first place cos that Seat belongs to Othman Danfodio descendants.

So don't blame the He-demon of Aso Rock

I don't think you understand the configuration of Delta South. Delta South has Itsekiri, Isoko, Urhobo and Ijaw. PMB got the highest votes in Delta from the Itsekiri, Isoko and Urhobo areas of Delta South.

If PMB must appointment Ibe Kachukwu, he should make him his personal assistant.Kachukwu wasted Delta slot in the first tenure. He can't be appointed to waste Delta slot for another tenure. Amaechi who held Wike stand still is a minister like Kachukwu. Kachukwu could not deliver his unit for PMB because he is an offshore politician who is not in touch with the grassroot. Delta APC cannot bear that wasted position for another four years

March 9: We shall pay special security attention to Delta ― Osinbajo
As APC members accuse Kachikwu of anti-party activities
BY TRIBUNE ONLINE
MARCH 04, 2019
FOLLOWING complaints by members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over security in February 23 elections, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has promised that the Federal Government will pay special attention to Delta State during the March 9 Governorship and House of Assembly elections.
This is just as aggrieved members of the APC booed and accused the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr Ibe Kachikwu, of anti-party activities that, they alleged, led to the average performance of candidates of the party in last February 23 polls in the State.
Osinbajo made the pledge on Monday at a Town Hall Meeting with traditional rulers, opinion leaders, politicians, market women, National Assembly members, APC candidates for the March 9 polls and other stakeholders held at the Conference Hall of the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, Delta State.
The town hall meeting, which was slated for 10:00 a.m, did not take shape as VP Osinbajo failed to arrive the venue until 3:10 p.m, when tempers were beginning to rise as traditional rulers and the clergy were kept waiting.
Osinbajo was accompanied to the meeting by the national chairman of APC, Adams Oshiomhole, APC Deputy National Chairman, South West, Chief Niyi Adebayo, Dr Kachikwu, former governor of Delta, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, Delta APC governorship candidate, Chief Great Ogboru and Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Chief Ovie Omo-Agege, among others.
Central to some speakers selected from the three senatorial districts, the clergy, traditional women and the youths were the complaint about alleged compromised security in the state on February 23 which gave the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) an upper hand over the APC candidates in the poll.

There is palpable tension in Delta APC over President Muhammadu Buhari's plan to appoint Dr. Ibe Kachukwu as minister from Delta State. The appointment of Dr. Ibe Kachukwu who most APC members in Delta State refer to as a wasted slot in the first tenure did not in any way contribute to the fortune of the party in the 2019 general elections. Recall that the minister was accused of working for the PDP at the instance of the Vice President Prof. Yemi Osibanjo few days to the election at the PTI conference centre Warri. Findings show that the former petroleum minister could not deliver votes for president Buhari in his ward and local government. This is due to the fact that he didn't empower any body in his local government and the Delta State APC family at large. Aside the fact that CBN governor is from Delta North, the total votes recorded for PMB in Delta North is about 22,000 out of a total of 221,000 votes scored by the president in Delta State of which Delta South produced the highest number of votes. As at the time of filling this report, the news that Dr. Ibe Kachukwu has been cleared for ministerial appointment is generating serious tension in the state as those who worked to deliver votes for Mr. President are threatening to tear the party into pieces ahead of 2023 election.

UDUAGHAN’S DELTA SOUTH POLLS HIGHEST VOTES FOR BUHARI

Prior to the February 23, 2019 Presidential/National Assembly election, Delta State had been a very tough glacier for any opposition party to cut. In 2015, the opposition APC in the state polled a total of 48,858 votes for eventual President, Muhammadu Buhari, a country distance from the ruling PDP’s 1,285,343 votes for Dr. Goodluck Jonathan under former Governor Uduaghan of Delta State.

In 2019, the outcome of the presidential election has sent panic to Governor Okowa’s PDP camp. The opposition APC, bolstered by the defection of former Governor Uduaghan turned in the second highest votes for President Buhari in the whole of the South-South and South East, more than the required 25% of votes to win the presidential election. The Delta APC polled a total of 221,282 votes as against the PDP’s 595,068 votes for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Delta APC may seem to have internal issues which Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan and other leaders of the party have been trying to solve, it did not stop them from uniting to poll such historic figure for their President-Elect.

This milestone may affect the outcome of the coming Gubernatorial election in the state.

EXPOSED: ISOKOS MAY NEVER PRODUCE GOVERNOR

If the news emanating from Dennis Osadebe house is any thing to go by, the Isoko ethnic nationality will have to take up their political destiny into their own hands if there is any chance left for them to produce the Deputy Governor or Senator in the foreseeable future.

The governor of Delta State Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa had concluded plans with James Manager to hand over power to him in 2023 while the Deputy Governor Barr. Kingsley Otuaro will be made senator representing Delta South.

This was said to be part of the agreement reached at the instance of President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015.

According to an inside source, the agreement is so strong that Okowa cannot deviate from it because it was on the basis of that agreement that Okowa was given the governorship ticket in 2015. Sahara news gathered that Okowa was made to swear to a deity known as Amaseikumor after being initiated into the Amaseikumor cult group by a former Niger Delta militant, Name withheld. As a member of the Amaseikumor cult group, Okowa is duty bound to fulfill his promises. Okowa played a major role in the emergence of James Manager as PDP candidate in Delta South in consonance with the 2015 agreement. The agreement which was made before the release of Chief James Ibori from UK prison has continued to generate friction between chief James Ibori and the incumbent governor of Delta State. All efforts by Chief Ibori to alter the agreement has proved abortive, according to sources from the former Governor’s camp.
Politics / Breaking News: Okowa Gave Electoral Officer N15million Each To Rig Delta Electio by Aljmusa300: 1:51am On Feb 22, 2019
Breaking News: After the failed attempt to misinform Deltans about a non existent court order secured by AVM Okorodudu in which Okorodudu himself has debunked in a press release, Senator James Manager has changed strategy by releasing N5million naira each to electoral officers deployed to Delta South. According to an inside source who pleaded anonimity, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa was said to have added additional N10 million naira to make it N15 million per EO.
The electoral officers are said to have been compromised by Okowa who pulled out Monies directly from the state treasury. Political observers believes that Okowa may not be able to pay workers salaries by the end of this month due to the amount of money he has spent so far in this election. However, the people of Delta South are unanimous in their resolve to vote out James Manager and Okowa. How the APC will handle this is Left to be seen.

Politics / Breaking News: Inec Break Silence On Uduaghans Candidacy by Aljmusa300: 4:18pm On Feb 20, 2019
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has broken its silence over an Abuja High Court judgement that nullified the senatorial ticket of the immediate past Governor of the state, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in the state, Dr. Cyril Omorogbe who briefed journalists in Asaba, today,February 20, 2019, on the preparedness of the commission for the rescheduled elections said they are not aware of any court judgement against Uduaghan.

He said, “I am only aware of the case of eight wards in Burutu that later came to 10. We have postponed the matter until after elections. I will not talk much about the court case in Ethiope West (involving Hon. Halim Agoda, a former member of the House of Representatives and Chief Edojah) until I get information from the high command of the commission. We are not aware of any other judgement.”

He said the electoral materials that were sent to Asaba INEC Headquaters from Abuja were turned back because they were labelled with misleading addresses.

“We found out that some materials that were labelled Edo came to Delta. Others that were with minor errors, like hand-written corrections, were also rejected and returned to Abuja for appropriate ones”, the REC said.

The REC denied that his deployment to Delta was influenced by the National Chairman of APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomole, and wondered whether he is a staff under the party chieftain.

He said the postponement of last Saturday presidential and national Assembly elections was in favour of the commission, maintaining that the commission has since converted it to its advantage, insisting that the “the reconfiguration of the card readers was to enhance its performance.”

Earlier, Uduaghan had through his Media Assistant, Monoyo Edon, debunked his disqualification and said he remains the authentic candidate for the Delta South senatorial election for the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday, this week.

He said the court had no time ordered the electoral umpire to delete his name from the list of contestants in the election.

“We wish to clarify that His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, was never aware of the case nor was he a party to the case and was never joined in the alleged suit.

The court had no time ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to remove the name of Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan from the list of candidates in the election.

“Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan has instructed his lawyers to take necessary legal steps on the matter, even as he enjoins APC party faithful and supporters to come out en mass to vote the party and all its candidates to victory in the elections.

We wish to state categorically that His Excellency, Dr. Uduaghan remains the candidate of the APC for Delta South and we are confident of winning the election

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Pursuant to our earlier release, wherein Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, APC Senatorial Candidate in the forthcoming rescheduled general election alarmed that neither him nor his party was notified of any judgement whatsoever, a court of competent jurisdiction has saved the judiciary from what would have been a miscarriage of justice.

The request by the claimant (AVM Terry Okorodudu) to remove Dr. Uduaghan’s name from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) list of candidate has been denied because;

a) The claimant, haven been disqualified prior to the Senatorial Primary lacks the legal ground to file for such suit.

b) Neither Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan nor his party was informed of such sitting.

Like the late sage Obafemi Awolowo said, “you can’t shave a man’s head in his absence”.

This is cheering news for Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan’s teeming supporters who kept faith in his candidacy and are prepared to massively vote him as Senator representing Delta South Senatorial District on Saturday February 23, 2019.

Politics / World Bank Hand Over Delta Commissioner To EFCC For Prosecution by Aljmusa300: 11:17pm On Apr 10, 2018
By Karetimi Joshua

Yenagoa- The World Bank has directed its anti graft unit in collaboration with the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) to investigate and prosecute the Delta State Commissioner for Women Affairs Mrs. Omatsola Williams. In a statement by the Task Team Leader of the World Bank in Nigeria, Mr. Ismaila Ceesay, the World Bank acknowledged the receipt of various petitions against the commissioner for women affairs bothering on stealing and mismanagement of SEEFOR project funds provided by the Bank. Niger Delta Voice had earlier forwarded a report to the World Bank on the stealing and mismanagement of SEEFOR community development funds. After preliminary investigation indicted the commissioner, the bank decided to hand over the case to EFCC for further investigation and prosecution. Below is the report sent by this news medium to the World Bank.

Good day sir, thanks for your prompt action on the issues raised concerning CDDSIU-SEEFOR Delta. We are sorry for the delay in our report on the state of CDDSIU Delta. It was due to delays in getting response from our readers across the state who had complained about the corruption going on in CDDSIU. We also had challenges in getting information from the state Project Coordinating unit due to allege complicity of the SEEFOR project coordinator Mr. Benson Odjoko in the embezzlement of project funds. This is the reason why the SEEFOR project coordinator wrote in defense of the corrupt Project Director of the CDDSIU. Our investigation revealed that the involvement of the SEEFOR Project Coordinator in the fraudulent transactions necessitated several letters he wrote to the World Bank in defense of the project Director. Of note among some of the issues that indicted the SEEFOR project Coordinator Mr.Benson Odjoko is the insertion of N8 million naira vote into the 2016 budget for MIS activities without a break down of how and what such monies will be spent on. The vote according to an inside source was undefined and as a result, that money was totally embezzled using fictitious memos raised in collaboration with the Commissioner Mrs. Omatsola Williams and the Project Director, Mrs. Akowoharehor Orubu. The negative impact of this high level corruption prompted members of benefiting communities across the state to contact us to bring the issues to the attention of government. From our findings, the SEEFOR CDD project is a very laudable intervention of the World Bank in collaboration with the Delta State government. The project seeks to among other things: create jobs for the teeming unemployed youths in rural communities across the state, provide basic social amenities in benefiting communities across the state through community participation and direct labour, create positive economic impact on benefiting communities, ensure circulation of project funds in benefiting communities through payment for services rendered by community people in course of project execution, enhances socioeconomic activities in benefiting communities etc. The project started in the state in mid 2013 and it was experimented in three local governments (Ughelli North, Isoko South and Ndokwa West) in the three senatorial district between 2013 and 2014. Between mid 2013 and 2014, there was a lag in implementation while employees were trying to get used to implementation strategies through field experience and capacity building. The project effectively took off in 2015 with an impressive performance rating and key indicators. This increase in performance was however short-lived due to the appointment of a new commissioner in 2015. According to a reliable source that sent a mail to us on condition of anonymity, "The project started very well on a very clean slate with the first project Director Mrs. Alice Akpoghene. The woman laid a very solid foundation for the project to succeed in the state before she was appointed a Permanent Secretary and later retired. She handed over to one Mr. Friday Ekpo as Project Director who effectively put the project on the part of accelerated development and his performance was impressive. Projects were being commissioned and Community Development Plans were being sent regularly to World Bank for approval until the new commissioner was appointed. The Commissioner Mrs. Omatsola Williams on assumption of office ordered that the two operational Hilux vehicles of the Agency be brought to her residence because she needed a back-up hilux and a vehicle for her Personal Assistant. This development was strange to the Project Director because the former commissioner does not interfere with the activities of the Agency. This prompted the Project Director to call the SEEFOR project coordinator to help him explain and appeal to the commissioner that the nature of the operations of the unit will not permit the use of operational vehicles as back-up hilux for her personal activities. The SEEFOR project coordinator then put a call to the commissioner and the Commissioner refused to release those vehicles. After their discussion, the commissioner then call the Permanent Secretary to immediately redeploy the Project Director to the Ministry. After the redeployment, the Commissioner told the permanent secretary to get a replacement with someone who is ready to be remitting huge amount of money to her every month. The PS quickly contacted the daughter of her former colleague in the office Mrs. Akowhoarehor Orubu who was the then head of operations to discuss the proposal. The woman who was already being accused of embezzling about N2 million naira of operational funds by her colleagues quickly accepted to be remitting N500,000.00 naira monthly to the commissioner on the condition that all other staff will be redeployed from the unit so that she can work with new people who will not understand why she is moving such monies out of the unit. The deal was struck and the posting was already prepared and the criminally minded woman was celebrating that those who wanted her to return 2million naira will be posted out and she will be directly in charge of project funds. However, the World Bank through SEEFOR rejected the redeployment and the agency's account was frozen to prevail on the commissioner to rescind her decision. The commissioner however refused to rescind her decision because of the monthly N500,000.00 that the criminal Akowhoarehor Orubu has promised her. She insisted that if the World Bank does not accept her candidate, the project should stop that she careless about the effect of the closure on benefiting communities. Unknowingly to her that the time she stopped the project was when the project has been expanded to include her own local government. She caused the agency to be shut down between January 2016 and April 2016. In creating an artificial excuse for the redeployment of the hardworking Project Director, the Commissioner accused him of not “reporting” properly to the Ministry. However, all the documents in SEEFOR show that there was timely report to the Ministry. Ironically, the report referred to is financial remittance to the commissioner. Since that allegation couldn't fly, they tried all means to get an allegation to justify his removal and they couldn't manufacture any allegation. Finally they agreed to use the word “incompetence” as a reason for his removal. They wrote to World Bank that they needed a very competent hand to run the office, adding that Mr. Ekpo Friday is not competent to handle the office. The parameters by which the commissioner arrived at that conclusion still remain unknown. Due to public outcry by benefiting communities who complained that prices of goods and services were increasing while they were waiting for World Bank and the commissioner to resolve their differences, The World Bank reluctantly approved the appointed of her criminal puppet as the Project Director and that marked the beginning of the failure of the unit. Prior to her appointment, the former Project Director had labored to produce 9 Community Development Plans which were approved by World Bank within the period the commissioner caused the office to shut down. These nine CDPs and other ongoing projects were eventually handed over to the newly appointed corrupt Project Director to implement. However, the Project Director could not deliver any project throughout the year 2016. There are projects among those nine CDPs handed over to her in 2016 that are yet to be completed as we speak. While basking on the euphoria of the fraudulent appointment given to her, she invited all staff of the unit to a meeting where she told them that in this new regime, she is going to encroach into everywhere to raise money to settle the commissioner monthly. She said that no areas will be spared. She listed areas that will be encroached to include running cost, promotion and outreach, fueling of vehicles to communities, fueling of boats to riverine communities, community sensitization, radio and TV adverts, staff field allowances, night allowance and taxation of benefiting communities. She hinted that the commissioner is aware that staff of the unit don’t pass the night in the field most times and they collect night allowance yet the vehicles are parked in the commissioners residence. Therefore such allowance would be shared and 50% will go to the commissioner. This proposal didn't go down well with staff of the unit. Those who stood up to question the legality behind such contribution were marked for posting out of the unit. The initial effect of these criminal activities was de-motivation of staff. Staff of the unit no longer takes their job seriously. They no longer come to the office as early as they used to come under the regime of Mrs. Akpoghene and Mr. Friday Ekpo. She then came up with a policy to rule out those who are late to work and issue query to them. That didn't solve the problem as most staff will resume very early and spent the whole of the week working on a memo that shouldn't take more than 3 hours when things were working normally. Tension heightened in the office when management staff discovered that there is difference between what she remits to the commissioner monthly and what she made them to believe that she was remitting to the commissioner. She generate as much fictitious memos as possible to pull out monies from unspent budget and running cost, she discourage working in the riverine areas which would consumed more money due to extra cost of hiring of boats in order for her to be able to save monies for sharing with the commissioner who is ironically from a riverine area. She also discourages working in areas far away from Asaba to save as much money as possible from the money budgeted for fueling of vehicles to the various communities. Mrs. Akowhoareghor Orubu collects all these monies and tells her fellow management staff that she has remitted all to the commissioner. Whereas in reality, she shared the money into two and present one part to the commissioner and starve the various departments of operational funds that would have enhance their performance. This led to serious altercation between her and the various heads of department. Meanwhile, whenever the fraudulent Project Director goes to remit monies to the commissioner, she is always excited. In her excited State, the only thing that comes out of her mouth is "If there is any body giving you problem or challenging you in that office, bring the name of the person to me, I will post the person out of that office within 24 hours”. When she gets to the office, she uses it to brag that the commissioner has told her to submit names of those giving her problems in the office. Their stay in the office is at her mercy. Anyone who questions her on any encroachment will be posted out of the office. At a point there was another altercation in the management meeting and it was after that meeting that she decided to compile names of management staff and those who are close to them for the commissioner to redeploy from the unit. The World Bank shouldn’t believe whatever excuse given for any negative action taken by that commissioner, they are all make- believe excuses to enable them steal as much monies as possible. The core interest of the commissioner in taking these actions is to protect her monthly remittance. It is not for the benefit of the project. Of course, the World Bank should be aware that the performance of the office reduced significantly that the office at a point was consuming more monies than it was giving out to benefiting communities. The report she is sending through the PC as record of her performance is fake and the PC is aware that they are fake. He chose to cover her up because of his involvement in the MIS budget of 2016 and other corrupt practices between the PC and the commissioner. A classical example is the Unenurie Science Laboratory that was completed in 2015 which was yet to be commissioned because of disagreement between the community chairman and the traditional ruler. Orubu listed the project and others as part of her achievement.

Mrs. Constance Aboyowa until her death was the bread winner of the Aboyowa family since the husband lost his job in the banking sector. Mrs. Omatsola Williams posted the woman to Burutu away from her husband and children. The husband came to Omatsola Williams to plead with her. Omatsola Williams told the husband that the wife must go to Burutu. The man who hails from Jakpa in Warri North had to borrow money to rent a house in Burutu for the wife. The wife had resumed in Burutu. However, one month later, Omatsola Williams posted her again to Oghara in Ethiope West. The husband went to beg her but she refused. The husband had to gather all Itsekiris in the Ministry of women affairs to beg her but she refused. Meanwhile, there are staff of the ministry who are begging to go to Burutu because they have their home there but Omatsola Williams left them in Asaba and refused to post them to Burutu. Because of the accommodation problem in Oghara, the woman could not go to work for one week. Omatsola Williams wrote to stop her salary. The woman then wrote a petition to the Head of Service who is an Ijaw man. The Head of Service wrote back that the posting should be reverted that it is against the civil service rules to post a civil servant to two different locations within one month. Omatsola Williams refused and her salary was stopped. Mrs. Aboyowa became frustrated and fell sick. She couldn't get money for her treatment because Omatsola Williams stopped her salary and she died. The husband Mr. Aboyowa who is from the same local government with Mrs Omatsola Williams has become a drunkard in Asaba. Itsekiri leaders una wicked. RIP MRS. ABOYOWA

Politics / Okowa Sack Delta Commissioner For Women Affairs Omatsola Williams ? by Aljmusa300: 5:19pm On Jul 12, 2017
If the news circulating in government circle is any thing to go by, the Delta State commissioner for Women Affairs may be spending her last few days in office as the commissioner representing Warri North local government in the state executive council . The governor who is said to be fed up with reports of corruption and maladministration against the commissioner is said to be worried about the call by majority of youths in Warri north for the replacement of Omatsola Williams as commissioner from that area. An inside source within government circle confided in us that the governors reaction to the agitation by youths of Warri North for her replacement is an indication that she is spending her last days as commissioner in the state. Below is an open letter written to the governor by the people of Warri north
Open letter to His Excellency Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa
We the people of Warri North wish to inform you of our displeasure with the performance of the commissioner representing our LGA in the state executive council Mrs. Omatsola Williams. Apart from being the worst performing commissioner in Delta state , Omatsola Williams has committed a lot of atrocities against our people . unlike other commissioners who give their constituents access to them for one form of assistance or the other, Omatsola Williams has consistently denied her constituents access to her . She has never visited the people she is representing with a view to educating them about your SMART agenda and disseminating the necessary information to the grassroot on various developmental effort of your administration . She now shuttles between Asaba and Europe as if she does not have a constituency. The people in Warri north barely understand what is happening in your government . Whereas other commissioners are meeting with their people and organizing economic summit to educate them about your various economic empowerment programmes , our commissioner is traveling round the world spending stolen money on frivolities. Your Excellency, it may interest you to know that most Itsekiris in WARRI north do not know that there is a commissioner in your government called Omatsola Williams. In spite of your effort at making life comfortable for our people particularly in the riverine areas of WARRI north , your commissioner who is supposed to be the vehicle through which our people will understand the effort you have made and the available programs of your government that will be of benefit to them has totally disconnected her self from the people to which she is supposed to represent in the state executive council . For two years now we have never felt the presence of a commissioner in WARRI north because all her actions from the day she was appointed indicated that she is in the state executive council to serve her personal interest . Your Excellency , as things stand today in WARRI north, Omatsola Williams has no electoral value . she cannot influence a single vote in WARRI north in 2019. She is currently a liability in your government . She has shown to the people of WARRI north that she is not interested in us . We are appealing to you to sack Omatsola Williams and appoint credible Itsekiri person who have the zeal to work for our people to avoid a situation where our people will vote against you in 2019 because of Omatsola Williams . In order not to belabour you with so much words , we will summarize the atrocities she has committed against Itsekiri people of Warri north in a private letter to you when you return from vacation. God bless Your Excellency. Signed : Okerenmeta Tuoyo Coordinator Delta Democratic Coalition for Good Governance Warri North chapter
