Anenih is not igbo; Ogbeh is not igbo; Kalu is not PDP etc.  Can you people study geography for once?. Uba is an igbo star just as Lamidi adedibu or arisekola Alao was/is a Yoruba star. may be we shall rope in obasanjo and Iyabo as your elder statesmen too. No be so?
Culture / Re: Nigerian Women Are Becoming Monsters by AloyEmeka: 11:37pm On Jul 27, 2009
Theblessed:

Well, if you are frightened of your life, RESPECT WOMEN, period! Then, you won't have your life flash in your face, you better know that before it's too late for you.  My son would never put himself in a precarious situation with a woman - where did he learn that?  It's evident that, 'CHILDREN LEARN WHAT THEY SEE ADULTS DO', obviously, you are ignorant of that fact.  Goes to show how illogical you are when you pose these questions, I quote 'Many men that beat women did not learn it from anybody.  In the same way, women that beat men did not learn it from anybody. All those children that grow up to become armed robbers, 419 or ashawo did not learn it from your parents'.

Pity you still haven't hark it, have you  Children learn these things from adults/events around them, ok!  That is, observing violence, threats, intimidation, name calling etc and now as ADULTS, these traits are manifesting themselves because, they were exposed to them and never learned how to control their emotions in childhood therefore, they lash out at whoever upsets them that's how they learn it, ok!!!

You said I have murdered someone before well, don't you know that??
Yoooooooooou!!!!! And I wouldn't hasitate to do it all over again, if someone like you continue to physically, emotionally and psychologically abuse me, they'd be game - no quelms! So, RESPECT!  As for needing professional help, if the wife batterer himself doesn't need help who else?  You are the one doing the battering, and imagine the lady being battered seeking professional help, that's wonderful.lol!!!!!

Anyway, the message is: DON'T HURT ME, I WON'T HURT YOU either. RESPECT!!!

You know what, I looked at your picture. The wrinkles in your face are not commensurate with the width of your lips. That alone tells me you don't age well. You look older than your age because you have a very serious psychological issue which affects your hormonal levels. I truly feel you. I feel you sister because your whole family is dysfunctional. I have never seen where boys beat their sisters how much less their only sister who should receive the highest petting at home. Something is wrong about that behaviour and if you doubt me, ask others here. Did they or your father also abuse you sexually?.

Biko nne, murder is the worst thing you can do to anyone and I don't think you will be happy if any other of me murders your relation even if it is those brothers who abused you.

God will be your healer and not okoro Emeka. I will ask him to heal your internal wounds because it's a sure symptom of manic depression.
Politics / Re: Nigerian Indicted In $42m Fraud In Us by AloyEmeka: 11:28pm On Jul 27, 2009
Somebody has already introduced tribalism here https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-302055.0.html#msg4258488. Nigerians are pathetic.

platinumnk:

If im not mistaken, then man is an igbo man embarassed  Shame shame lipsrsealed

Come on, u really cant fraud the govt, eventually they will AUDIT you!

My dad who has a medical business, gets audited about once every 3 years, you cant run from them.

What u do in the dark with defintely come out in the light.  angry
That is the only thing you saw about the story?. he is no more a Nigerian rather, he is better known as an igbo man. Your stupidity and tribal lens will not let you know any other thing in Nigeria besides tribalism.  First and foremost, there is no name like that in igboland. may be he is from middle belt or mid west but certainly not igbo but who cares where he is from?.

Also it's called defrauding the govt and not fraud the govt. Didn't your non igbo  father spend the money he makes in his medical business in your school?.

Please, your lips are too dark from smoking so, you need to stop smoking. I am sure you smoke ganja too and thats why the only thing you discovered about the story is his ethnicity. You are giving that boy in your picture second hand smoke and I know he is already disabled. Cancer will be more load on him. I beg you in the name of God.

People just dey throw out the kitchen sink left and right sha. Wetin yoruba people get to do with the actions of pesin like OBJ wey yoruba people never give a shit about, yoruba people don sabi since say OBJ dey carry water bottle for his hausa masters, na only Igbo people never realize, that's why nearly all Igbo leaders are knee deep inside PDP and hausa cest pool with zero independence,  one of them just defected sef after OBJ flew in to pat am for head saying good boy good boy like bingo. Nothing tribal because, I yarn this with full affection.

Hausa boys are plotting their moves and moving everything up north right under our noses and we're here worrying about old and useless non issues,
Before the Imo state gov, how many igbo states are ruled by PDP?

JamesG:

Please let's stop knocking the Yorubas, they've done a lot for the technological advancement of this country - albeit most of that development have been started in the west,  but it had in a very short time found its way to other parts of the country. Won't you furnish your house before furnishing varender?

Case in point - Most will complain about OBJ, but can you really,  I mean really compare OBJ with Yar' Adua?

The Houses/Fulanis will not do much for the country,  but I am confident the Igbos can do more, given their numbers,  I am not talking about importation.

Our collective problem are the Housa/Fulanis,  they are the root of all our problem. The Yorubas have figured them out, that's why they can still be at the forefront of advancement in the nation even though the Housa/Fulanis control the Nation's resources.
Hausa/Fulani are not the root of your problem. You are the root of your problem. They will also discriminate against you in the same measure which you used to discriminate against them.

oyinda.:

they say they are proud to be IBO abi na BIAFRA. they are always screaming ibo kwenu but you will find most of them living in abuja, ghana and lagos. why not stay in onitcha and shout your ibo kwenu from there?  undecided stop bothering us pls

even biafraworld doesn't contain them. they have to bring their propaganda to nairaland.
If I remember well, you claimed to be 3 yrs old in 1993, that will make you a 19 yr old tribalist in 2009. It's a shame that you have a whole life ahead of you and belong to the generation that is the only hope of Nigeria yet you've trained yourself in the art of tribalism. When your age mates in the west are shutting down the same racism their parents taught them, you and your minions are empowering yours.  I don't know where to start because your nairaland comment is the most foolish. You just need proper education and emancipation from the shackles created by tribalism.

The general Igbo people jubilated the outcome of the Jan 66 coup and were content to ride joyfully as the new elite of the country without censoring the wanton act of barbarism exhibited by a few Igbo military men.

You can not lavish on the rewards and then distance from the review.  You own both.  So I cant understand what is false about that or how you can call that hatred.
Negro, you are way older than that comment above. Don't make me believe you are in kindergarten. So, the whole Americans jubilated Iraq war?. The whole Yorubas jubilate Obasanjo's massacre of the ijaws from Odi?. Yorubas also jubilated in unison, the activities of Patricia Etteh and Ada Obasanjo?. Shame shame shame.

Kennis Music to sign on Obesere, Edris Abdulkareem
By SAMUEL OLATUNJI

Sunday, July 26, 2009
Kennis Music, Nigeria’s foremost musical label has signed on new act, Jay One. The latest musical sensation was unveiled at the Encomium Magazine white gig penultimate Sunday and he performed to the delight of all.

http://odili.net/news/source/2009/jul/26/506.html

Jay One will be joining Kelly Handsome, Diamond, The Pulse and Kenny Saint Brown on the label. Kennis Music has once been home to Tony Tetuila, Edris Albudkareem, Azadus, Paul Play, Lagbaja, 2face Idibia, Kingsley Ike and many others. His single, ‘File be’ is ready and will be on all radio stations in a matter of day. And plans are in top gear to commence the shooting of his video.

Meanwhile the talk in town is that Mr Lecturer, Edris Abdulkareem is set to go back to the music label which he once called home.

When we spoke to CEO of the label, Mr Kenny Ogungbe on the matter he refused to comment on it saying he is like a father figure to many artistes in Nigeria. ‘I’m a man with an open heart open to anybody who wants to do business with us. We are here to promote good music and that is what we are committed to doing.

So, if anybody that has worked with us in the past comes with something we are comfortable with we will talk business. Even if you have not worked with us before and you have something that interest us and you come forward with it we will talk.’ Edris was not available for comment.

Meanwhile a source close to the record label hinted showbiz Now that the Asakasa exponent Abass Akande Obesere will be signing on with the record label on Monday and he would be releasing about four or five albums on the label.

If the signing goes through, Obesere, a known Fuji act will be the first of his contemporaries to sign contract of such with the label. Obesere who has completed work on his hip hop album will be releasing the anticipated LP soon. The album features top acts like 9ice, Timaya, Lord of Ajasa. 9ice collaborated with him on Kilonso, Timaya did same on Gbosewo, while Lord of Ajasa did what he knows how to do best on Dancia ni party. Obesere took the bar several inches higher by rendering a track, ogbu egbu 1 in Ibo and those who have heard the song say it is a chart buster.
