Well, have fun but I advise you read what you just typed again and try picture how you sound to a non-Nigerian, one day go be one day Are the names you mentioned based in Canada? Are they the ones in focus for threatening to poison people inside Canada? In the world of international relations and diplomacy, Canada's concern are the people of Canada. Nigeria is out of their jurisdiction. Only the hands that are clean can have some ears when the common good of a space is threatened. Bliss4Lyfe: |

It's sad indeed. Her entire life just got turned upside down by reacting to people she has no personal relationship with. Yet, everything you accused them of is also done in abundance by your own people. You want to drain out negative energy, come to Nairaland for gbas gbos that won't go beyond that. Na yabbing or patapata moderator ban you. No, you enter Twitter dey do video dey foam for mouth like bush clown. Total ignorance and lack of wisdom. travelzcruix: |

You better calm down with your cho cho cho before you innocently loose guard one bad day. That's how this Amaka too started. "What about others" is no excuse. A simple example is overspeeding, if 20 people overspeeds within 5 minutes probably just one gets caught & citing others who were not caught is no excuse. Your only valid defence is not doing it. Crime / Re: Why Are Over 75% Drug Trafficking Nigerians From One Region? - Reno Omokri by Amalekki: 10:57am On Sep 03 |
$10,000 on the table Reno Omokri @renoomokri Dear Esima, Thank you for your feedback. There are no "recent statistics for pertanity (sic) fraud in Nigeria." What there was is data from Smart DNA, a leading DNA testing centre operating in Lagos. Their data showed that 53% of those who got tested self-identified as Yoruba. It did not say that 53% of those who failed the test were Yoruba. I pledge to pay you the Naira equivalent of $10,000 if you can show me where the data said 53% of those who failed the test are Yoruba. For example, if a DNA testing laboratory in Enugu gives a list of their clients, the majority will be from the ethnic group dominant in the state. Ditto for Kano. Smart DNA is based in Lagos, which belongs to the Yoruba people of Nigeria, though others have falsely laid claim to solely developing the state. So, of course, most of their clients will be Yoruba. In case you do not know why Smart DNA has such a high volume of clients, it is because they are one of the few DNA testing laboratories certified by embassies in Nigeria, and to get a visa for your family, you mandatorily have to perform a DNA test. But much as you would like to twist the narrative, the data did not say 53% of those who failed the test are Yoruba. Most visa applicants to the US Consulate in Lagos are of Yoruba origin. It therefore follows that most clients to a US Embassy certified DNA testing laboratory would invariably be Yorubas. Please fact-check me, but the National Bureau of Statistics revealed just recently that girls and young women from the Northwest and Southwest are more likely than those from the other zones of the South to keep their virginity until marriage and have low body counts. Again, $10,000 to you if I am lying. Don't you want to make money, Esima? Also, common sense should tell you that paternity fraud is likely to be higher in places where social malaise, like baby factories, are prevalent. Wouldn't you say so, Esima? Anyway, thanks again, and may God bless you. #TableShaker #phylshan |

Funny enough many folks believe it's Nigerian immigrants that actually taught most people in these neigbouring countries economic doggedness. Nigerians are very familiar with informal economic sector and they create economic activities even where there was previously none. That's why most Nigerian villages are more peaceful and relaxed than the cities during economic crisis. Many dogged Nigerians got lazy! Our large population concentration naturally made us survivalists but we relaxed along the line especially with easy Abuja money trickling down heavily to states when the military handed over power to civilians. Then internet money came, which led to crypto money or hope that we have today. 9jatriot: |

Yes, in most rural areas subsidy is alien to them as they have always paid premium price for fuel. jmoore: |

True! The queue is the bigger issue. Availability is very important. Fuel should be subsidized in Nigeria, my personal opinion. But absence of subsidized fuel is not death sentence. chuksjuve: |

Totally different issue. I'm talking about the "heaven about to fall" shout. The people in those countries are not dead, they are doing fine. It is not death sentence. Bobloco: |

It is well. The people of Benin Republic, Cameroon, Togo, Ghana, Niger Republic, Burkina Faso and several others have been buying fuel at the rate that Nigerians are just getting used to. They are not dead, they are not in hell. We are going to be fine. We should be tired of 64 years with no clear direction, we had several decades of subsidized fuel with nothing to show. Something has to give. 2 Likes 2 Shares |
