Eleporobi:

Before you guys installed meters in that plaza, where you guys on estimated billings? If yes did you guys clear the whole outstanding before installing the meter?

If you didn't clear the debt on the estimated billing, your disco will still be collecting that debt despite recharging your meter.

The solution to that is to tell your disco to spread the debt on everyone's meter. So this means that once you recharge 1000 naira, the disco will minus 500 naira.

In other for you to know the truth, get the account number of the plaza and go and do your findings at the disco office.

If its also as a result of fine from bypass (energy theft) the disco will give you the option of paying the whole fine at once or monthly bases until you finish paying the amount fined.

These two options are what I have witnessed before.

Sorry I didn't add something on the write up.
On the bill they sent; there is PREVIOUS READING , follows by the reading figures
And PRESENT READING follows by the reading figures.

I always compare the billing figures with the figures on the meter it always correspond and when I do the calculate it will give me the exact consumption.

Please where can I find disco office close to Maryland.
I will visit them soon. I feel something is wrong somewhere

Maybe you guy had outstanding before you bought those meters.

Or it could be that at some point somebody did bypass and was caught and they decided to fine you guys

If it is the fine how long could that last?
Please what kind of outstanding? Please explain

Thank u for your suggestions I will make findings.

But is that how it suppose to be? In this kind of economiy?

APC do not have brain.

Business / Pls., How Do I Solve This Meter Problem by AMI3(m): 1:44pm On Apr 10
We have MoJec Meter in a shopping complex in Maryland, Lagos and
different shops meter in the complex are connected to one central meter which is this MoJec meter

Each shop occupants always buy their units in other to recharge their light, if the units they bought finished they will not have light in their shop.

My Problem is that at the end of the month

Ikeja electricity company will still send us bill worths #200k failure to pay this bill our light will be cut off

Though I tried to find out how they generate this bill to charge us no body gives me a convincing reason.

Please What kind of meter works this way? Is there anybody with similar experience

We can not be buying light units and at the end of the month we are still being charged for light consumption.

NOTE WE ARE IN BAND A

Please mod I need more contribution on this.
This new tariffs will affect us seriously

I need very mature advice here.

I'm a picky person when it comes to making relationship choices. For me the attractiion has to come from my end otherwise I'll find it difficult to accept the individual.

There's this guy, very mature and. I'm sure will be older than me or we'll be of same age I love watching his contents on Facebook and what attracted me to him was one of his sit down videos where he talked about premarital sex and the dangers of engaging in it as a Christian. I was wowed that a dark handsome man like him could speak against such practices and his audience that day were youth and teenagers.

I began to observe him and noticed he addresses the youth more and is always teaching them moral and academic lessons. I somehow felt connected to him and one day summoned the courage to ask him if he's married. He didn't reply.

I recently came across his video again and asked him for the last time on his comment section if he's married and I said this was the last time I was going to ask him this question. He now replied that he is not married.

I don't know, would it be wise if I take a shot at him or try being his friend. He's a Born again brother and my spec.

Please sincere advice.

I understand u perfectly well.

Take my little advice .

Well don't be too carried away because what he says on the camera.

There are people that I can not loose guard on. People that preaches gospels or morals on stage or camera.

I will not advice my enemy to marry somebody because the person is active church goer, or preaches in the church daily, sweet the church premises everyday.or dress so righteously

Becareful of sure people.

SOME may have some other motive behind their actions.

Please don't be carried away by what he has been saying.

First of all engage him in a conversation not in connection to relationship but in relation to morals.

Do not show any atom of having feeling fo him because human been can pretend.

How many pastors have cut in the act red handed? Yet if the want to preach they have sugar coated tongue.

Don't allow your impulse to make u lost your sense of judgement.

I met several people that a very nice in spoken words
But what the do behind the scene can make u be afraid of human being.

If you can be his friend then stand afar and watch him

Get to him first before u jump into ship.

We all know we lack maintenance culture in Nigeria..That market was commissioned in 1985 with Air Con.
I am only talking about what I know. I didn't say what I don't know.
They way portrayed it was like it is still what it used to be

If you know Olabisi Onabanjo market in Ogun state, commissioned in 1985 , you will not say this.
Almost 20,000 shops, all air con fitted with sliding doors since 1985.Go and verify.

The shop that they have looted everything.
It is no more what it use to be.

Azazyel:

Do you know that Yoruba language has slight variation from Lagos through Ogun State, Oyo state, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti all the way to Kwara? The dialects are a bit different but they are all yorubas. Same thing in Igbo land. Akwa Ibom people learn other languages very quickly thus many can speak Igbo too. You need to see the way a lot speak Yoruba too. Does it make them Yoruba or Igbo? I know a Tiv lady who speaks Hausa so fluently but does that make her a Hausa person? Her community shares boundary with a Hausa speaking community and she learned Hausa from friends there. You're confusing yourself honestly. Pls do something for me since you believe Akwa Ibom people are igbos:
1. Observe their languages, are there slight differences or massive ones?
2. Checkout their cultures, do they really align?
3. Meet any Akwa Ibom person and tell them they are Igbo and see their response. They are not the same at all
I will agree with u.You know that the common values the share is greater than non common values

A Yoruba man share no common values with an Hausa or an Igbo.

But items of Akwa Ibom it is only language that differs but every other thing are similar.
And they can easily Marry each other without learning too much about each other culture
Health / Re: Toddler Branded Witch And Abandoned In Akwa Ibom (Photo) by AMI3(m): 1:27pm On Mar 29
Azazyel:

They are not igbo people and can't be regarded as igbos. They don't even speak Igbo language. It's just like calling a berom man Hausa. Berom people aren't Hausa but they can be called northerners. SW and NW coming together during election doesn't mean they are the same tribe. They may just have an agreement. There's no sense in what that guy posted
Do u know that there are some parts of Akwa Ibom that speak and understand Igbo language perfectly well

Even in the East not all those that are from that region speak the same Igbo language.

Chai you really need some education. Ethnic bigotry is very bad. You don't even know your country well
The guy you quoted may be right in one way or the other.

Assuming that region was still call South Eastern state.
I believe people from that region could have been under the umbrella of Igbo.
Just like how we call all the northerners Hausa.

People from that region South South or South East has so many similarities.

The only use the word South South as an apple of discord disintegrate people from that
region politically.

Ask yourself why is south west always come together and north always come together during election.

This is real rod they used on your son.

Before I judge this case, answer the following questions;

Is your son stubborn?
Does he steal?
Have you gotten any report about him from school?
What school did you enroll your son in?
Are?
Are the teachers agberos?

There is no offense committed by this boy worth the flocking.

We Africans feel that the best way to correct a child is by flocking .

Teachers these days are not same we use to have in those days.

Though we were always still flocked though believe that it was normal .
These children are so fragile.

To crown it some male teachers do take hard drugs before coming to school.
For the women they will their demonic frustration from the house and pour it on these little kids.

What is this foolish Ibibio man blabbing about? Which mercenaries murdered those soldiers? Where did they come from?
The concentration of heroin he sniffed must be so high as to destabilise his thinking and reasoning faculties.
The murderers of those soldiers were youths from the community of Okuoma and many there knew exactly who and who participated in the mass murder.
The community elders are not exempted.

That is a red flag.
There are two things here
Your girl friend must have been knacking another man right from day one without your knowledge.
They want to be sure who is the real father of this child.
Or it could be another man is claiming the ownership of this same child.
