One of the major problems of this government is their constant need to turn everything to politics.
Anybody who critizes a policy is a political opponent. They continue employing jobless youths on social media platforms to continue singing their praises, instead of addressing issues

Now the cock has come to roost. Hunger continues biting.

Let's see if they'll call Onaiyekan an IPOB member because he said the truth.

At the end of the day, he has said nothing new.

The demands of Nigerians are simple. Yet , not one of those demands were even remotely addressed. People are hungry and you're telling them to give you more time!

He still believes that this protests are organised by his political opponents. That's his greatest undoing. Not everything is politics.

Tinubu is showing true leadership by addressing the long-standing challenges our nation faces. It's about time we have a president who isn't afraid to tackle these issues head-on. The vision for a better Nigeria is clear, and with his determination, we can finally move forward. Let's rally behind this effort and support the changes that will uplift our great nation!

These two are just playing to the gallery.

While Obi is busy trying to prove he's still relevant, Otti is simply trying to ride the wave of popularity. Both of them will end up achieving nothing significant.

Obi's protest will be another flop, just like his presidential ambition. When will he learn that shouting on the streets doesn't equate to real change?

If he spent half the energy he uses for protests on actual governance when he had the chance, maybe we wouldn’t be in this mess. Protesting won't change the fact that he lost the election.
It is now Obi's protest?

Relax. It's only a matter of time before they'll somehow involve either Igbos, Obidients or Peter Obi into this Kano State mess.

Just watch and see. Is it not Nigeria again?

Its interesting the way things are unfolding.

I have not seen any protest in the S.E or S.S. None of their Governors or prominent leaders have come out to complain.

Imagine if they were the ones crying out. DSS and EFCC would have started conducting raids. Paid social media agents would have twisted the narrative and started calling them IPOB members.
Nairaland ethnic militia would have started a full blown tribal war. Peter Obi would have been dragged like a Tiger generator.

So let us sit back and enjoy the show

You guys need to realize that Propaganda isn't working anymore. It may have worked a bit during Buhari's regime, but hunger has made Nigerians much wiser. Haven't you noticed that the usual tribal wars are also not working? It has now become stale and no longer attracts the usual responses.

Madriduy, FreeStuffsNG, seunmsg and co. It would be best if you guys talked to your bosses at the top. When you meet them offline, find a way to tell them the truth.

Nigerians are tired of the rising inflation and constant kidnappings. The government needs to do better.

This so called people are misinformed and they are blind to the what president Tinubu is doing. If you all can check all the news media.

There is overwhelming news of how the Police, Amotekun and Soldiers are arresting the bandits and kidnappers one after the other.

Eradicating insecurity is the first step of Nigeria greatness and Tinubu is not joking with it at all.

With security, Farmers will be able to go to farm and food will become cheaper.

The fact here is that most Nigerians Citizen has been pampered and spoilt by how Government dey pay subsidy for them.

Coast of living in Nigeria is one of the lowest, if you guys tour around the African continent you will know this.

Small bottle of coke is 200 in Nigeria but in Ghana its N720

And in south Africa it's N940, same as Zambia and Zimbabwe.

In liberia Bag of rice is around N170, 000.
See how you just set yourself up for drags.

Your comment is going to be spread across social media and will be used as a sample on how low APC supporters can get in defending this government.

When we tell you people to take it easy, you will call us names. Now look at yourself.

Originalsly:
I agree with Obi that the insecurity js causing lives to be wasted a d need to be addressed ..... but I don't agree with his reason .... so that investors will come and the country can develop. Is he not thinking the same like Tinubu? ... foreign investors hold the key to our development? Neither of them is looking to put things in place for us to pull ourselves up and out of this mess. Why not the security needs to be addressed so that our farmers can plant in peace? ... that others can take up farming so that we can feed ourselves and provide employment? Why are we not in the equation? Isn't self sufficiency development? ... or is it foreign investment development?
This is how criticism should be. Constructive and articulate 👍

BAT is better than most of our governors in terms of vision though all of them have some fair share of kwaraption ,

but some people will never admit theirs. Like I always say this present Yoruba generation won’t acknowledge BAT but the next ones will Eulogies him when his legacies starts to pay off
.

But we can’t say much about our respective governors , instead of calling them out we will rather rubbish BATs legacies and say Lagos is a no man’s land . Let’s keep on giving our respective governors the impetus to do rubbish why we criticize only Lagos Governors who are still better in all ramifications.

You can hate Wike all you like but man speaks facts always. He knows his onions. What is Ireti's business with who he makes friends with?

Also, the CCTV project she yapped about wasn't even awarded by the FCT. She just made a fool of herself.

My problem with Nigerians is we are too emotional and sentimental. Once someone does not support your Presidential candidate, then he has turned to a devil.

I think critical thinking and logical reasoning should be taught in churches during Sunday school and mosques. Maybe it will help us know how to deal with real issues.
Bros, there is a time for party politics. This isn't one of those times. Actual human beings are dying on a daily basis in the country's capital. The FCT minister isn't doing much about it. It is only commonplace for all to be bothered. The lawmaker is well within her rights to ask Wike for explanations.

If they cancel the election and order rereun they would still justify why they would vote tinubu

Gas would get to 2500
Petrol 2000 before 2027 and that's a fact

God bless you for this, my brother. Nigerians are very funny people. Regardless of the suffering we are experiencing in the hands of this government, the fact remains that there are still millions of people blinded by hate and tribalism.

Even if the government wakes up one day and decides to kill every child below 5 years, there will be people here on Nairaland that will justify his actions.

If he passes a policy that makes it mandatory for every man to be castrated, they will still say that it is the best policy in the world.

Even if there is a new law that says all women should shave their heads bald, you will see people who will rush to social media to tell us how baldness is the pride of the African woman.

So, forget it. Whatever we are going through now, there will always be people who will gladly vote in APC over and over, without thinking twice.

They don't care. All they know is tribe, and that's all that matters.

Education / Re: UNICAL Law Students Protest: Handiwork Of My Enemies - Prof Ndifon by Anaskie(m): 11:14am On Aug 15, 2023
From what am told, LAWSAN President, Benedict Otu, cajoled some students that they were to go for a meeting with the Vice Chancellor at her office, only to dish out placards bearing false representations about the Dean, and asked his colleagues to chant slogans that berated my personality.

What sort of weak defense is this? So a law student will just carry a placard without reading its contents and start protesting in front of the VC's office? Even if that student is tired of school; there are better ways to quit, than committing such academic suicide.

The Dean is as guilty as charged.

Give it some hours and just watch the paid agents write the following:

1. A sachet of Paracetamol is sold at the equivalent of N10,000 in other developed countries. Why can't we do the same here?

2. We need only healthy people in Nigeria. If you can't afford it, then you don't have any business being a Nigerian.

3. It is all part of the strategy to revamp our health sector. Tinubu knows what he is doing.

4. Nigerians need to take care of their health. The government cannot do everything for them. If they can afford a bottle of beer, they can afford to pay for drugs.

5. The war in Russia and Ukraine has affected everything. Let us show some understanding.

6. Obidients are the ones complaining. This government will favor me and my family grin
