Crofton:
This makes sense but trust me the British and European countries are barely responsible for the problems facing Africa .
There are many tribes and ethnicity across Africa, every tribe can't have their country hence the Integration of tribes into a structural country is only logical .
Besides, shall we conjecture less on whom to blame and channel focus on the reason we are still in this current position, the west have tampered the global economy making it difficult for African countries to emerge as economic strongholds, laughable enough, African leaders are not concerned about the economy whatsoever, all they care for is their pockets .
Our problem is our leaders, get sensible leaders and watch calls for disintegration reduced . So why can't we protest like people do in sudan, iran, tunisia? |
Politics / Nigeria Has Bad Followership by Angelcoco: 9:52am On Dec 04, 2019 |
People always say leadership is the problem but followership is the second biggest problems Nigerians have a bad habit of: Worshipping politicians regardless of what they do injecting tribal politics praing looters not voting for competent candidates not protesting |
Politics / Re: Do Nigerians Like Being Opressed? by Angelcoco: 2:03am On Dec 04, 2019 |
Crofton: The populace are divided by tribalism, hence we are unable to make a serious stand . so we can't protest for a common goal like houses and roads? |

nameo: Why cant Northerners debate stuff like this? I will be very interested.
The last World Bank economic report on Nigeria relased yesterday says that 80% of the poor households in Nigeria are in the north. 80%!!!
For a naturally resource rich region, this is shocking.
So question: are the youths of the north debating this?? They are being kept poor on purpose 2 Likes |

Sonoyom: Bad governance in Nigeria occurs when someone from your ethnic group, religious group or political party is not in power. I'm a minority ethnic group with fewer than 50k people. I don't care about tribalism |
Politics / Re: Will Nigerians Ever Protest Against Bad Governance? by Angelcoco: 10:36pm On Nov 30, 2019 |
edoairways: The truth be told, many Nigerians will not join such protest because of the following 1. They benefit from the menace directly or indirectly 2. Scared to sacrifice their lives 3. Scared of the government locking them up in police cell but would hypocritically protest against pastors 4. They haven't been pushed to the wall yet like their counterparts in China 5. Keep believing in God to solve their problems whereas God has given them brain to think will you join me |

Litmus: Not if Nigeria cannot even control Social Media. A major part of Nigeria’s difficulty is that Nigerians and other [s]Africans are excessively free in what they say about Nigeria. On the ground, Nigerians are too free. Nigerians do not pay enough tax yet have no qualms destroying what little state property there are; they don’t obey building regulations; litter gladly yet complain the loudest about dirt and generally puns about without proffering constructive solutions, talking fart on the supposed greatness of every other crap Nation that infest Africa. Nigeria’s borders are too open, I’m almost of the persuasion that first thing that defines a nation and that facilitates the successful building of one is border control. We need to add border control to basic infrastructure as roads, hospitals, schools and energy as vital prerequisites of nationhood.. [/s] |
