If northerners had promoted education and got their girl child into schools, a good number of these men and women would been taken to hospital as young kids, received polio vaccinations prevent some of the disabilities. Illitaracy is evil, yet the voted against one why built schools for thier children.

If you want impact you must do things on a large scale, FG want to farm 5000 hectors for 200 million people. One farm in Ethiopia is 50,000 hectors. See the difference fools?
Politics / Re: States’ Financial Mess Is A Ticking Time Bomb by Angoni(m): 2:32pm On May 08, 2016
One effective way to stop this stupidiy is to condition state economy- employment %,dept %, capital expenditure, growth, security- on the years the governers are allowed to run. If after a two years the governer does not meet a set minimum, federal government should boot him out, otherwise he gets two more years. This way the governor buffoons (most) will quickly be identified and removed before they cause more damage, but also they will have the incentive to perform and by extension serve and promote welfare of their people. Unforunately even the cattle herder from Daura would fail on this two year yardstick.

Aaa, well, well,.......what else can one do apart from shrugging shoulders in resignation? Lets have the fulani herdmens, millitants, boko haram, kidnappers, armed robbers, rappists and skin bleacher run the show then as we regress towards the north!

For 4.5 Billion USD, Ethiopia will be getting 6,000 megawatts from the Renaissance dam. Nigeria wants to get 3,000 Megawatts with 5 Billion USD investment. Fashola will always take a cut like he did for his trains.

Politics / Re: Ikpeazu Visits Scene Of Igbo Butchers Killing By A Soldier by Angoni(m): 6:46pm On May 07, 2016
salykely:
What about the Hausa man who was roasted by Igbo youth? No one is condemning this retaliatory attacks. No one is telling Igbo people what they did to poor hausa families who have lived in their mist is bad! All I keep hearing in this forum from SE extract is hailing of the governor who even went further to inaugurate an inglorious ethnic militia that will help in killing Hausa/Fulani people in case of crises. A governor who have decided to profile Hausa/Fulani within his domain. Let everyone keep in record the attitude and response of this governor to this incident. If Kano alone should respond in like stupidity, the entire SE won't have the resources to accommodate the in flow of Igbo refugees.
In civilized countries, those who burnt that hausa man to death would be brought to justice. The man was not sentenced to death, he was not allowed to defend himself in a court of law. He was killed by Igbo mob without hearing his own side of the story. Until death, the law of his land presumed him innocent.

What about the women and children your brother Fulani farmers have been killing from Agatu to Enugu? The law of this land did not presume them innocent? Such an ass-hole you are!

How stupid can Agatu youths and southern people in general be? If you can not stand your ground and protect your children and parents, Fulani or anyone else has right to claim your land. All you need is to knock down a few of them and their women when they trespass your land, moment they know there is a real cost to their stupidity, they will circumvent your land in the future.

Old fool Buhari says Boko Haram is embarassing his government. He expected them to be shouting Sai Baba but they are wiping out his relatives in the North East. Yet this man would rather deploy the army to guard oil pipes that can be replaced and are currently pumping oil at a loss. Poor Abo*ki in the North east, the cow herder you voted in power was more interested in travelling around the World than building you schools or fighting Boko Haram. Live with your sh*it, you voted for it.

Guy, why not do some basic research before making such an embarrassing statement?
Since our refineries shut down, where will manufacturers get petroleum products like plastics and petrochemicals for their factories?
How much food is produced in the country compared to our needs?
What currency will you use to import machinery, parts, tools, construction, medical, agric, military and every other equipment needed for our most basic needs?

The central bank provides dollars for essential or authorized purchases, and a lower rate to boot, so why not get dollars from central bank if one wants to import machinery, military equip etc? You argument does not stand my friend.

With what are they buying the dollars in other countries? Naira or fufu ? If people are so desperate to dispose their Naira an buy dollars , then most likely their source of the Naira is dodgy, the bdc are abetting crime and should be closed.
