Ok. But my school said I can't do it from Naija. What do I do?
ensure u know what ur talking about...is it health insurance or medical test? If it's medical test u can do it from naija,if it's health insurance u can also do it with any Health insurance provider as long as they meet the requirements of ur school...My school is on an "A-rating" classification

MrMann1:
Guys, please which would you advise between doing an health insurance cover here in Naija or doing it with the school plan
Health Insurance here is very expensive, last year I took my school's plan and was charged $1,700 for a year, but this year I got the alternative insurance form and used it,which cost me $600...

i don't know abt ur school but mine has a Facebook page for students that wants to sell used Textbooks...also the E-book format can be downloaded that's if the author allows such...u can also sign up for free membership with IEEE of which ur student email indicates that ur a student, though it has a best before end date that u can enjoy such luxury....

Your 3.62/5 evaluation would have been 3.20+/4 if it was WES
true but WES said they are yet to establish a working term with my undergraduate school(Lead City) so I had to resort to ECE

How was ECE service like? How long did it take dem to evaluate and did dey require verification from your school? Also What's d evaluation effect on your GPA?
ECE was cool,it took less than a month to conclude the evaluation..they also use same verification process like WES,ur school must attest to ur transcript

Iam also contemplating using WES,ECE or IERF. I heard WES boost GPA. Don't know how true. And its like WES waste somuch time because of the issue of replying ur school to confirm if verify if they sent the transcript. Meanwhile IERF doesn't do all that. So my question is what's the evaluation of ECE and IERF like? Does it reflect on GPA?
like I said earlier,I am only conversant with WES and ECE,if u have signed up on WES go and check if ur schools are listed on the evaluation list that WES works with, else it will be a wasted effort..for ECE I had a Cgpa of 3.62/5 and after evaluation I got 3.10/4..I think WES would have been a bit higher coz of their grading criteria

Hey guys, this is where I really need tactically suggestions. I need a strategy to go about my transcript issues. Have applied and need to forward my transcripts but I need a strategy here. This is how it goes:
I have two transcripts to send,my BSC and my PGD. My BSC is from Michael Okpara Uni,while my PGD is frm Unical. Have applied into three schools. One requires evaluation, the other two want transcripts sent directly. Now how best do I send these transcripts to the two schools and to the one that requires evaluated transcript by IERF or WES? Please give me the best strategy to go about this plz.
i don't think there is a shortcut to it,u will, during my time despite evaluating my transcript and ordering the evaluated copies to the schools I applied, after I was granted admission they still requested I send an official transcript from my Undergraduate university...I think evaluated transcripts will come handy after ur graduation..My opinion thoh

Hello gurus in the house.. Which will your recommend between WES and ECE evaluation service..
they are both good, just that WES has some schools in Nigeria that they haven't establish evaluation agreement with as such they wouldn't evaluate transcripts from such schools like mine,so I had to use ECE..

The option for picture may be there but you are not required to upload a picture online. You will staple or attach your passport to the physical printout of your DS160.
hey bro, just a little correction, stapling of passport photo to ds-160 is not accepted by the embassy,it's just a side hussle those guys outside the embassy use to hoodwink applicants...except the rules has changed recently

OK. Thanks a lot. But when school goes on Christmas break, does the admissions office too go on break? I ask because I don't want a situation where they went to deliver the parcel and no one is in office. Does admission officers too go on break?
Lol,depending on location, postman deliver mails even on Sundays...A serious society barely take long holidays from work like ours, thoh there are few exceptions like Thanksgiving..so if ur transcript is mailed to the school, they will get it..

Before this period, how much do they charge per dollar when you withdraw. I ever swiped with my card and they deducted a whopping sum of N223/$. Ever since then, I just bone them. Still trying to figure out how I can use the money in my Gt account without being extorted by our dubious Gtbank. Does anyone know how to go about this.
thats even better, standard chartered charges me 230/$ also charge fr swiping

smh... I have dropped my visa card details very well, I had to do what I gotta do. My coming to US is well planned. It is a pity that I couldn't pay from here with Visa card. Guy I was not comfortable to deal with you, I followed my instinct, and you are sounding pained about it... At least I saved you from the stress of going a long distance to the payment place. You already said you are also not comfortable that you pay first and you advised I go to seme border, I even had to pay more... So please tell me what exactly is your stress about it... #SMH

imagine him asking me to pay for him and he will later reimburse, what nonsense, people like this are the reason one will chose not to assist others..
