Ok what about CNN grin grin
Lagos, Nigeria (CNN)Nigeria has overtaken India as the country with the largest number of people living in extreme poverty, with an estimated 87 million Nigerians, or around half of the country's population, thought to be living on less than $1.90 a day.

There Poverty Capital of the World:  NIGERIA

SEATTLE, Washington — Nigeria, a third world country in Africa, is known as the poverty capital of the world. The nation just exceeded India with the largest rate of people living in extreme poverty. In Nigeria, about 86.9 million people live in severe poverty, which is about 50% of its entire population. While the nation is smaller both geographically and in terms of population, it is failing at lowering the rates of poverty. This is partly due to the mismanagement of the oil business and the presence of corruption. grin grin grin

I now see why the like of popizidiot and pokuasi don't want to relocate back grin

There is an idiot here who goes about posting vile comments against Nigeria on all social media platforms but comes here to act all nice to Nigerians. I will be happy if Nigerians can at least switch their attention away from Kenyans to put this idiot in his place.

BREAKING: Mass Failure Hits Nigeria’s Unified Matriculation Exam, 168,000 Of 1.4million Candidates Meet Cut-off Mark
A perusal of the document issued by the Board after its Policy Meeting in Abuja early in the week showed that the performance was a far cry from the 404, 740 that scored over 200 out of the 1.9 million that sat for the examination in 2020

Let's address the second issue you raised. Firstly, my earlier post Used the word foreigners because I'm more connected to the francophone community in ghana than Nigerians because I've lived in two French speaking countries and when I said landlords are refusing foreigners house, I don't mean Nigerians alone. A friend of mine paid for a place and had his money returned to him the following day because " he is a foreigners". Now to issue of "Nigerians not taking care of peoples' houses" that's a fat lie cos there are more responsible Nigerians here than the rascals mostly doing fraud. Why is that you're going to rent a house and the Ghanaian agent will tell you to say you're not from Nigeria or he'll rent the apartment using his name? So isn't the house owner supposed to see the character his let his space to so as to access him or not..

If you tired of staying in Ghana just relocate back to ur village and stop spawing rubbish on nairaland no one give a fvck about ur stupid rants

I think he knows what he's talking about. It's like I said we independently crunched the numbers and came to a very similar conclusion. We looked at your economy sector by sector, comparative consumption e.g.,cement, oil, cars per thousand, per capita revenue spend, Human Development Index, Human Capital Index, Logistics Performance Index, etc, etc and it's NOT even close.
Look at global median wealth index. You're next to Ethiopia!? HOW,NIGGA!

Ofc, the resident head of the Naij native doctors association here will screech "cooked/voodoo/bribery/Oyinbo," but we know the truth.
We got bored and took a good look at Ghana only AFTER they spoke most unwisely and fell down laughing. They're as fked as you!

Thats because in time things evolve

That's why many African countries will never be developed because they are chasing, what the developed are abandoning.

When the developed world is building sustainable cities, green cities, eco friendly cities, smart cities..... Some African countries are adopting what the developed world has realized is not good.

I.e skyscrapers,... Even
Despite being one of the most developed, densely populated and economically prosperous continents, Europe has surprisingly few skyscrapers, particularly when compared to Asia and North America.

Of the 218 skyscrapers constructed on the continent to date, 66% of them are located in just five cities – London, Paris, Frankfurt, Moscow and Istanbul

China has restricted smaller cities in the country from building "super high-rise buildings", as part of a larger bid to crack down on vanity projects.

The country is home to some of the world's highest buildings, including Shanghai Tower, which has 128 floors.

Local reports also questioned the need for low-density cities to build skyscrapers, suggesting they were built for vanity and not practicality.

There is already an existing ban on buildings taller than 500 metres.
