You are demanding waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much from these ACN goons. Derailing threads is the only thing they learnt from their days on Oxford street.

Yoruba wannabee jati-jati. Speak the language all you want and focus on the region 24/7 , while neglecting yours with very serious issues, but that still will not make you a Yoruba man. Them no dey buy am for market abeg.

He is Yoruba, you like it or not.

He is more Yoruba than a lot of people here. At least, he is yet to engage in nepotism like some people's uncles and associates.

And BTW, what makes you think he wants to be Yoruba, Mr. Argumentum Ad Hominem

Just one competition.

Gosh.

With questions leaked to Bells, most likely.

Progressives/intellectuals advocating for the govt to spend public money on private institutions?

As if their owners, a former president and a flamboyant pastor, haven't stolen enough public money already.

Interesting!

Sucks to be poor in this life.

The whole thing is a scam from onset. A drama aimed at bringing to dis credit the efficiency of the body scanners.

I know. Just as how that guy who consistently did better than you on exams was always cheating?

TSA uses the same body scanners all the time and in Europe, na de same, how can a lowly country like Nigeria do anything to discredit what is well accepted and evidence based?

Mistake? Something she deliberated upon extensively.

if she keeps this up, she will end up being vilified by all except the political elite.

Keep what up? When did she start. She is not a magician you know. And in a democracy, things go very slowly cos you cant just wake up and make everyone follow and be in agreeable with your policies. Give her some more time.

Honestly, you are beginning to sound like a broken record with your constant barrage of senseless and highly misinformed trite

she has not shown any signs of tackling or challenging the huge fg overhead -

What do you want her to do? Invite you to shadow her 24/7? How did you come to this conclusion?

all her solutions involve transferring nigeria's fiscal woes to the populace

Like tighter fiscal policies, job creation?

this says one of two things to me - either sheand gej  has a long term strategy of her becoming president in 2015, (which is what all this senior minister stuff looks like) ,

This is a democracy. There is no boju boju anywhere. She has the right to contest when the time comes, like everyone else including you sir, Mr. Oando NL. When the time comes, you will know. Stopp all this conspiracy crapp, not healthy for your psyche.

and therefore does not want to rock the boat by vexing the power brokers (as long as it is biz as usual, we dey your back)

And there is nothing wrong with that. I guess you still work at OANDO because you are always in the habit of rocking the boat and vexing your superiors? He works for GEJ for pete's sake.

she has been compromised and will therefore not do the right thing.

As long as GEJ likes the job she is doing. you have no right to say this. She was appointed remember, not elected.

Lets watch fstranger hug a transformer, literally.

You have to remind me of what a transformer looks like. I havent seen one in like 42 years. yeah, developed world citizen thingy, not to be boastful, everything is done underground. Erm, White Power! grin

Sorry, you still live in a world of huge transformers and hastily and incompetently designed power lines. I pray one day you get to live like real humans do, with access to light 24/7 and friends who speak 5-10 languages and can change accents in a second.  Real life nearby friends I mean. Friends who like you for who you are and not for the quick N 50, 000 they can make from you. Friends who are honest, not dishonest ones who only see you in terms of green cards and Benjamin Franklins.

I dont mean to suggest that you are any one of the above Odunnu, after all you dont have a record of random people depositing money into your accounts like my 'shady' friends with multi yahoo accounts always boast to me about.

I will leave you with the worlds of Albert Einstein on his 'apala' album:

I’m just sayin’ you could do better grin

How body?

I am glad you finally gave your approval and your protege took to your advice ASAP. Always nice to have some sort of spiritual head/mentor in your mold around. I, 'too' in RL, mentor people, who otherwise were always unsure about stuff ( like random offer of friendships), and I help them develop socially. Whenever they ( my proteges) see me ( their Baba Isale) on the street, they acknowledge me with words like 'noted duly,' Thank you sir, You made my day etc. Great feeling! You and I arent different after all, We make the world more sane for troubled youths and confused 'big babies.' smiley

That said, I am happy we're all back to square one, holding hands, pumping each other up and dancing merrily together as one big NL family that we ought to be. wink

ekt_bear:

Speaking of "Un-Yoruba-like" (though I'm wondering, who appointed you an authority on Yoruba? After all, you evidently don't even know much about your neighbors in Osun State.)

I appointed myself. I figured out, before you and everyone else, that the throne was vacant, so I sat on it. And you know what, I dont plan on vacating it anytime time soon. Pretty cushy, BTW. Hey let me tell you something, get yourself one like me, and stop 'jolosing' my authenticated authority. Find a vacant throne and grab it, Benin, Ndigbo, Egun thrones are still vacant. Too bad Beaf is already sitting on the ND throne; you would have been sitting on a lot of money and influence, like Yours truly Fstranger ( The one and only authority on everything Yoruba.)

Is stalking people online, being a dishonest psychopath "omoluabi" behavior, in your mind?

Actually, I dont do that myself. My secret police do that on my behalf.

Is being a jealous, hateful, demonic toad "omoluabi" to you?

No sir.

Is talking a bunch of crap, calling someone else a stalker or braggart omoluabi?

All of the above is correct sir.

If anyone were to judge Yoruba based upon you, no one could blame them for thinking that we are the scum of the earth.

We, again? Are you Yoruba Sir?

Hehe.

Compare yourself to this omoluabi standard which you seem to value. Do you measure up?

NO, after all, I dont have access to steady pum-pum.  At least, not as much as you do sir.

Absolutely NO to your question.

Again, Mr. Ekt Bear, knock it off. Its no big deal. I am really really really sorry to have offended you.

Please ignore my posts. Ignore please.

PS: Anyone, Katsumoto, Sagamite, BEAF, please wade in, make fun of me, help me beg Ekt Bear, do anything, anything that will make Ekt Bear feel better. Ekt Bear is going cuckoooo on me. I am terrified and humbled and sorry at the same time.

Heh. At least I know now to regard you in the same way as I do Beaf.

I am glad.

So uh. . . how was it attending university in the US (Princeton?) shortly after getting your 285 on JAMB, immediately after getting VISA lottery to Yankee? wink

Pretty good. If you look around, i aint the only one in that situation, so many NL'ers are. Not too pretty difficult to believe.

And no doubt if you had applied to universities in Nigeria, you'd have gotten an offer, yes? But nope, that never happened. A miracle occurred!

Not really a miracle per se. Pretty frequent. One wonders how SEFAGO etc made it to a US school.

Hehe.

I named you poorly before by calling you housefly. Instead you are some creature that lurks in muddy waters.

You are right. that is exactly what I am. That was actually my nick name in Pre-K school in my mother's womb grin

Just as you created the impression that you were affiliated with a certain institution, just as you claimed I am a stalker and braggart about poon, you are muddying the waters on this topic too. Half-truths and false impressions are what you seem to thrive in.

That is the stuff Fstranger is made of. I am glad i have an area of expertise. Master of false impression, magician so to speak. Maybe I shoud get a TV show for gullible people like you. grin Imagine how much I'd be making.

So regarding chip on the shoulder. Is this a reverse psychology game you are playing? We've chatted before on IM. You know what I'm doing currently in my personal life career-wise. And it appears that you've verified for yourself (through stalking) that what I said on YIM was true. So based on what you know about me and have confirmed, is it likely to you that I have a chip on my shoulder? grin

You are really not that important in my life. I see a lot of people with a lot of problems.  I dont remember chatting with you on YIM. And if I did talk to you, I cant remember what we discussed. Great you remember though.

That said, I am sorry if I hurt you in anyway. Hey, I am bad/a/ss, not in a good way though. Too bad it is you i got this way, you were never on my radar.

But since this is a virtual life that i do not take seriously at all. I will like to say that, I am really sorry for putting you through this emotional roller-coaster.

And yes, you are doing pretty well, great job, great education, great looks and with no chips on your shoulders.

You never said anything about pum-pum and definitely did not mention times.

And also, You are way better than me. Way better than everyone on NL as a matter of fact.  Look if there is anything I can do to help your current emotional state, let me know. I am sorry for all I have caused you, And I mean it.

Again, without trying to muddy the waters, You are doing great. You are awesome. You arent stalking Odunnu. I am a bad person, jealous and devious.

Goodluck, Mr. Ekt Bear. Goodluck.

Now, lets go to bed. Shall we?

Hehe.

Something is wrong with my head that I let people bait me into wasting my time.

Those chips must be really heavy. How do you manage to carry them around so effortlessly?

Anyway, good luck.  If you searched very well, and  HONESTLY, i am sure you will find it. But hey, you' ve always bested Beaf, init? And you 'is' sharing the same pum-pum with Aregbesola? grin

I am an absolutely stvpid, m0ron of a person. How could I stay up late to devote time to nonsense like this? Imagine wasting valuable time discussion with idi0ts like Fstranger and Beaf?

Absolutely pathetic. I'm ashamed of myself this day.

Anyway, here is the thread:

https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-675630.128.html

Judge for yourself there if ekt_bear is bragging in any way about poon. Judge for yourself if I am stalking Odunnu. I read that and see a pretty amicable, harmless conversation.

And Fstranger's usual jealous, devilish nature as usual kicking in.

So read through that.

And compare Fstranger's claims earlier in this thread (pum-pum twice as week, etc, etc).

Is it not only a deranged madman who could take this from a harmless conversation?

Beaf is someone I view with absolute disdain. However, at this point I think I view you in the same way, Fstranger.

You are a really a sad, pathetic human being.

That and another thread where you specifically made reference to pum-pum and the number of times. But its no big deal. If you never said it, you never did. Forget about it. Hey this is NL, where Beaf's name is Reno Omokri, Katsumoto is the greatest historian to come out of Nigeria and I went to PMS and Sagamite went to Oxford after flunking out of OAU, SEFAGO is a member of MENSA, Blazay is a deranged psycho on the street of Texas, and Aigbofa works as a Babalawo , and Ileke is prettier than Hale berry with an IQ higher than John Nash's, and DK is a pervert of the highest order, and Ekt Bear is buddy buddy with Aregbesola. grin

No big deal buddy. Forget about it.
Nairaland / General / Re: Describe Ileke In Two Words by arsenefc: 7:32am On Oct 18, 2011
@Beaf, lets stop it.

Its not worth it. Ten people going at Ekt, I dont think its fair.

We are one big family here. One big family! Well balanced, with huge chips on our shoulders.

On a more serious note, I am out. Out for good.

BTW, Eku Bear, I am just having fun. I am not beefing you at all. This is NL, I dont even know you, and why would I beef you. Not my style. Me  I am just bored.  No ill feelings at all from ma side. None whatsoever.
