Some person's received a text for them to come for screening when they have already been screened... lol

You're the one disgracing your lineage bro, only time will tell.
Brother you maybe right and you maybe wrong.
But the best thing for them to do is to go on the date stipulated in the SMS to confirm personally for themselves because this Nigeria nothing is impossible
Note good percentage of people that'll be call for camping will not even went through all this screening of a thing.

Plus update for shortlisted candidates on modalities for interview in our ongoing recruitment process. this was just posted on twitter by Ndlea agency P.R.O. I am trying to understand the area of shortlisted candidates on mondalities for interview ,sound like the list will be out before Friday ,so we will discuss what will be needed for the interview ,abeg people wey understand English should explain
That simple means that successful candidate will be shortlisted before Friday and by Friday they'll be told what they needed for the screening

Finally, President Muhammedu Buhari has signed the NDLEA Amendment Bill, 2023 into law. This is the first amendment of the NDLEA Act since it was established on the 29th of December, 1989 via Decree No. 48!

On behalf of my committee, I want to profusely thank my colleagues in the Green Chamber, the Honourable Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt.Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, his Deputy, Rt. Honourable Idris Wase, the entire leadership of the House, my Senate Counterpart, and the Senate President, the Clerk of the National Assembly (CNA), the UNODC, critical stakeholders in the War Against Drugs Abuse and of course, the Chairman/CEO of NDLEA, Management and Staff of the agency for their hard work, passionate commitment and collaboration with the House Narcotic Drugs Committee which I am privileged to serve as its Chairman.

To the CNA, my committee members and the Secretariat led by the clerk, I say a big thank you for tolerating the excessive pressure I mounted on you in the last 40 days to ensure that the bill came out clean and forwarded to President Muhammedu Buhari for his assent. With the successful amendment of the Act, the NDLEA can now effectively bark and bite.

With the amendment of the Act, the international community and particularly the UNODC will take Nigeria more seriously in the War Against Drugs Abuse (WADA) and trafficking. The WADA should be a collective fight of all Nigerians if we must clear the doubt of the drug barons and traffickers, for if we fail to destroy drug abuse, it will kill Nigeria.

My only regret was that my bill seeking to subject candidates of political parties, public servants generally, prospective high institution Students, Police, Military/ Paramilitary personnel, pilots, drivers and people in the service sector to compulsory routine drug test was stepped down from the amendment on ground that it was antithetical to human rights. But I disagree. That is a discussion for another day though!

Still, I am happy with what we have. I am also very proud of the 9th National Assembly for doing what no Assembly could muster the political will to do.

With the successful amendment of the Act, my colleagues and I have deepened the war against Narcotic Drugs scourge. We can now posture with legislative swagger as I bow out of the National Assembly on June 13th, 2023!

The credit for this lofty feat shouldn't go to me alone. It is for all members of the Narcotic Drugs Committees of both the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 9th Assembly for it takes more than one hand to tango!
Hon. Francis Ottah Agbo!
NDLEA is now declared hot cake

Really? There is no point arguing what is not...I know a united PDP would have beating APC...Obi or not!

The results are there for everyone to see, Atiku only needed a slight push here and there to win that election..

With a formidable PDP in the South, Peter Obi will only be able to breath in the SE and nowhere else.
That's what many don't know
Obi popularity started spreading to other region when people like wike started shouting of northern takeover of PDP and many people from SW/SS/Christensen community and North center are being careful not to vote for another northern based on their experience under Buhari miss rule

But if Atiku as looks into the demand of 5G on time, they'll have checkmate the popularity of obi because must of them don't really care who ever won as long as it's not Atiku..

Many agencies got their allowance/salary reveiw last year, some will even get more than 40% and the list you posted is 100% legit

Is only CONPSS
Yes someone even said it here last week that the 40% is for people under CONPSS only

The order categories of agency that may enjoy any increment are those who the head of the agency lobby for salary review and got the approval last year may receive the new pay this month or next

please was FIRS under unde salary structure before?? Apart from the ministry of finance ? Or NIMASA ?? NDLEA is under the same salary structure will other paramilitary ,you cannot just increase there salary and above under paramilitary agency without first removing them from there ,there were underground act that was done for customs to remove them from under the ministry of interior to ministry of finance before they got this better salary ....
When you get in to the system you'll understand better

Moving agency to Presidency didn't garentee that your pay will be good because must of the agencies under Presidency aren't receiving the same salary, some are good, some are not

When NFIU was moved to under CBN, they've to cry out that, they should be pay what CBN staff are receiving because they're still receiving the old EFCC salary at then, some major news platform carried the news then

Even public complain commission that is under national assembly are still looking up to Presidency for salary review

National Assembly can only pass a bill to move them to Presidency but they didn't have the power to determine your pay pattern, as long as the agencies are paying above minimum wage

President is the only person empowers to direct National Salaries, Incomes & Wages Commission (NSIWC) to reveiw salary for any government body

Salary reveiw is for the head of agency to propose some allowance for the staff is totally different from moving agency from conpss, that was what Magu did and if the head of the agency as a good relationship with the president it'll be approved, the only problem is the implementation because the paperwork takes time

The three paramillitry under ministry of Justice now will be using the same salary scale

they will get more than that ,they will get the same thing with police ,I do not know about Ndlea or FRSC but civil defence , immigration, fire service and prisons ,already put in place since last year harmonization of salary ,allowance structure with Nigeria police ,it took three years to see this work ,it was finally agreed on signed and approved last year with them and police .......so whatever police is getting that is what civil defence ,immigration ,fire and prision will get ,a bsc holder should be getting close to 200k .....
NDLEA as been moved from conpss salary scale which was approved by the President late last year but as at January they've not implement the new salary, I don't know if it as been implemented now sha ooo

Even the chairman said something like that in December that the staff will begin to enjoy good welfare package and good retirement package

i heard that when the new salary is implemented what theyll be taking home will be massive

You can create a topic about the internal workings of PDP or how Wike owns or built PDP and those knowledgeable in the matter will comment on it.

Our present discussion is on the subject article.

What has the man gained? Or pick any section of the article and comment.

Uve mentioned Atiku, south, north, central dele, rivers APC, PDP, tv stations etc. It's beginning to sound like ramblings
He is the new king maker in Rivers State now and APC at the centre as hand over Rivers state political structure to him..

Note he's going to third term indirectly through is anointed Candidate... Because rumor as it that the guy is even related to wike by blood from is mother side

That's what he gained from APC

Reward him with minister ke? - Reward? hian o.

Wike has been an LGA chairman, a chief of staff, a MINISTER and a 2 time gov.

'Reward' him with minister is an insult sir. Just say make him a minister again not reward him.

So I ask? Is that what he 'won' by fighting his party??

I would even appreciate u all stop quoting me and comment on the original article, we are derailing
I have no problem with wike fighting is party because when he was rebuilding the party after 2015 where was all this people...

Atiku failure to identify the dynamic of PDP that winning power of PDP is in the South/North central and the major players that can give him victory lead him to failure, My brother politics is give and take..

You think calling your self politician is all about going to TV station for interviews like Dele and is friends, what benefits did all the interview contributes to Atiku in the last election..

2019 election in Rivers state APC didn't get 25% in Rivers, Winning election in Nigeria is all about having men on ground

Wike singlehandedly won election for Jagaban'?( Let's hear what Tinubu has to say to this ur claim)

While he single handedly as u put it lost his own? Or u re not aware he vied for Presidency with Atiku and lost?

The type of claim people make on this forum is just mind boggling.

I don't even want to go into the gov election that PDP has been protesting against APC in INEC office for weeks now, causing needless gridlock on Aba road. Person win finish come still dey 'protest' em victory.

I ask what I asked before- what exactly did he win

Don't tell me governorship, cos PDP was always going to win governorship in Rivers state. Even without any manipulation. Only sm1 that doesnt live in Rivers state will argue this
Many of you guys just like to view politics with emotion

As long as Nigeria kind of politics is concerned, Wike is in a winning team like it or not, APC may even reward him with a minister like Akpabio in 2019

Every dream of any seasonal politician in Nigeria is to be a king make in is state.

Power at the centre will only make friends with people that as something to offer them at state level not all this Abuja politicians

Telling me what benefits will Power at the Center benefited from people like Amachi or Dele....

Politics is all about timing, suspending Fayose and others at this time by Ayu is wrong timing for a seasonal politician.
