Good morning everyone. I missed you all oooo. Justwise, FrontpageLawyer, Iblaw, worry359, Una go say I don go underG. grin
I still dey, work/activities just plenty for me.

I have a friend planning on visiting the UK in Nov, for hols. To stay with a friend. She has sent in her application and will be going for Biometrics in a week`s time. I asked her to show me her form so we can scrutinize it here, I don't want her to dash the embassy money like that ooo.

She is 27, single, working in a financial institution for 3 years plus. Earns about 220k a month after tax. No travel history. Her passport expires June 2017 (hope the period is ok). Her budget for 2 weeks is:
Cost to you personally - £1010
Total amount you have for the trip - £1520
Cost of aeroplane - £785
Cost of accommodation - 0
Cost of living expenses- £500
Is staying with a friend the main reason for visiting UK. She ticked YES.

My opinion, it think the last question should say NO, main purpose to be Tourism which is why she is going there ( Does this even matter?). Also the account balance is not strong enough. Oanda as at Jul 5 is 371. Dats abt N564k. Flight and living expenses will chop more than 80% of her money. I noticed the summation for the cost of trip doesn't match.

Please what do you guys think? What can be corrected using the extra sheet?

Ogreen... how u dey nah? Longest time... well, why is the margin between the cost personally and total amount for the trip so much? The Living expenses is even too much, if she's staying with a friend, 200-300 will be fine. Your calculation is not even right, check well.... £785+£500= £ 1285... Thats much bro. Make sure her friend sends her prove of accommodation oo. Seems Money don make u forget so many things. Lol

Stop making up stories.
The UK embassy will not seize her passport unless it is a fake!
Even if she has a UK ban her PP will be returned.

I ain't making up stories Bro, I see this forum as hospital where people come for treatments...lol, Now ur patient wants healing. A lot of silent readers that are in this same situation wants to hear ur opinion. I told her to send a message to the embassy if she's not sure of the BaN. Good morning.

Honestly I don't believe that she lost the refusal letter and doesn't know the content.

I don't think she has learned her lessons

Thank you Justwise, I told her the same thing that I dnt believe she lost the refusal note but after she narrated her story, I realised she actually misplaced it. She said it's almost 6 years ago, that she couldn't remember the content vividly. Since she doesn't remember the content, what do you think she should do? Submit fresh application or she should just admit the discrepancies about the DOB issue and explain how the Agent messed things up for her in 2010. I have givn her my own candid advise but I really want to seek for more opinion from my bosses on here.

What does she need the refusal letter for?

She needs the refusal note so as to be sure if she has been banned and if not, then she can reapply, she doesn't want her passport seized by the embassy. But is it possible for the embassy to seize her passport?

Honesty is her only possibility of salvation now.

She should re-apply
With all honest documents.
No mistakes with DOB or name or details!
Add a one page letter admitting the previous problems caused by agents.

She may be rejected but may escape a ten year ban.

Thanks so much worry, the DOB on the Old passport is different from that of th E-Passport, I advised her to come out clean and she should do an affidavit concerning the DOB, what's ur opinion?

Good evening everyone, justwise, iblaw, worry, tunde etc, I need ur urgent contribution on the issue below-.

A friend of mine applied for UK visa in 2006 in which an agent advised her to do invitation letter but she was refused and didn't win appeal, She later applied for another UK visa in 2010 through an agent who collected money from her . During the application the agent advised my friend not to disclose in the new application that she has applied for Visa in 2006, As a novice, she agreed and she clicked No, that she has never applied for a UK visa Becos the Agent said, she applied with the Old passport, that the Embassy won dectect the initial application, since she didn't do biometrics and that the DOB on the old passport is different from the one on the E-passport.

She submitted and the application came out unsuccessful and the Embassy stated that she claimed she has never applied for UK visa but during their search, they found a resemblance in an application that was made in 2006 which bears same name but different DOB. In conclusion, The ECO stated that if they have any reason to doubt her application next time it may attract 10yrs ban . she has travelled to US, Canada N some part of Europe. Now she wants to apply for UK visa and she couldn't find the refusal note again. Kindly give ur candid advise on what to do to secure her UK visa, thanks

1. Feb. 2016
2. Old passport(expired 2015) siezes
3. Old passport(expired 2015) siezed
4. If its a must to rectify things, i will
5. Renewed passport which uk embassy returned

They siezed yhe old passport and returned the new passport.

Well, your passport was either sent to the immigration office for verification and since you had a fake stamp on the passport then it has to be seized, so forget the passport. You even need to thank God cos It's a case that could lead you to kiri kiri.

Although, sometimes they just use shakara for applicant to own up to the allegation, you should have use ogboju for them too, you had nothing to loose but it's over 5 months now so UK and Ireland is a no go area for you right now.

You know what, start building another travel history prior when u want to apply for Yankee Visa, go to Ghana if you can afford it, apply for another SA visa, go and come back, then apply for Yankee. I want you to know that UK ban is not the end of ur life, God might be telling you that you are not on the right path. If you build a good travel history, you will definitely be in American before the yeye 10 years ban lapses. Always remember that at this stage, No more Agent, No more fake docs, and no more rushing Pls. A friend of mine who was deported from china, UK, jailed in Dubai for 2 month was given 2 years yankee visa with his family last month, Always pray before taken any step bro. Cheers

Please i need clarification house and also dont mind my typo error, i am typing this as fast as i can.

I am a career man, hence i only have 24days(annual leave) in a yr to travel. So back in 2012, i met with an agent who said he can get me an SA 1 yr visa at an affordable price for my vacation, well as long as its legit and he made mention its a non appearance visa i was like how is that possible and he explained futher that it will be applied like seminar stuff that d company handling d seminar will bear everything. As a novice i told him as long as its an original visa. To cut the story short, he brought my passport with a togo boarder stamp, a Ghana boarder stamp, a ghana working/stay permit of one yr and finally a SA visa. Sincerely, I asked whats togo and ghana doin here and he told me the visa is from ghana so they stamped at each boader as they are entering the boaders to ghana, i remember vividly i asked him if this is an original SA, he vouch and said i should go and confirm at the airport. I did nt go i believed him. Like i said earlier i only av 24 free dyas in a yr. And for that yr, its already passed till d followin yr so durin one of the national Public holiday, i used the opportunity to spend 5 days in SA as the visa is about to expire.
D following yr after experiencing what travelin abroad is cos i do not fancy it before like that, i applied for UK visa myslef, i tendered all required document which are valid and from the form i was asked if av travelled before i gladly ticked yes now where av u gone, i got confused if i say SA what are other stamp doin on my passport was what came into my mind and since the SA visa was valid i did not think twice and i gladly typed in togo, ghana and SA. Sadly my application was rejected and ban for 10yrs because of a fake togo, ghana and nigerian stamp that av never travelled to these countries(the SA is valid) i felt sad and dissapointed not because i was rejected but because of the label fraud on wht i did not knw about(if u are readin this and u plan to use an agent, pls don't) my old passport was siezed and my new passport was returned. now another 24days of annual leave is coming and i am thinking of vacation is USA.
Will i be given visa provided all my docs are complete and valid?
What will happens to my old passport?
Can the 10yrs ban be uplift or reduce?
If asked while filling American visa form online and asked if av been rejected and d reason wht should i tell them.
I included my wife details with passport while fillin the rejectes visa, will this affect her in future if she wishes to visit UK?

Sorry to hear about the BaN, but wanna ask you few questions

1. What year did you apply for the UK visa?
2. On which of th passport was the fake ghanian - seme stamps?
3. On which passport is the SA visa and entry stamps?
4. Can you go to Ghana by road just for 2-3 days?
5. Which passport are u gonna present to the US Embassy?

Upon receipt of your answers, expect my response.

Sorry that you were scammed by THIEF Agent.
It happens to so many but people will not learn.

Unfortunately your ban will remain.
If you apply to the USA. add a short (no more than half a page.) note.
Explaining the truth of what happened and stating that you are now sorry that you used the agent.

To be honest it could affect your wife, until she re-applies we can only guess.
Again add a short, clear, honest letter explaining the circumstance.

Honesty now is your best way so you do not make things worse.
And tell everyone to stay away from agents.

I agree that the 10yrs Ban will remain but I disagree with the fact that he should write a short note stating what to the US Embassy That he's being banned in the UK? Lailai, I disagree!!!. I am not gonna encourage him to lie about his application but UK and US are two different embassies, the deed has been done and he has learnt his lessons, Start building a new and clean travel history, He should go to Ghana by road with his passport and he's gonna get a genuine stamps on his passport, Apply for another southy Visa, go there and come back to apply for Yankee Visa, simple. Remember that UK ban is not the end of life, yankee dey, canada dey, Europe dey, Asia dey, Australia dey.

Good morning all. Please I am a self employed visa applicant but my company was registered last year. I have requested for nil tax clearance but due to the new directives from Firs, I was told they no longer issued nil tax clearance. The process involved in getting one can take up to 3weeks and my appointment is next week.

Although I pay myself consistent salary of N300,000 with other deposit from my tenants. Please I have the following questions to ask:
1. I have filled and submitted my application as self employed thinking I will be able to get my company tax clearance so that I can submit both my company and personal statement with a very good account operations. Please can I just submit my personal statement, payslip, bank reference, hotel reservation, letter of employment and reference letter from my company and explain with a letter that I am employed under my company as the Director of Operations? Or how best can I go about it?

2. Do I need to submit my company statement of account and certificate of registration since my company tax clearance is not yet ready?

Please my people help me oooooo.

1. How much is in ur company's account presently that you could afford to pay 300k monthly into ur account

2. Do you make payment of your salary via Cash deposit, check deposit or bank transfer?

Please answer those 2 questions asap.

If that is the case, if truly the money came from your father's account, use tunderule2016 theory, since you studied in the UK, print ur dad's account with yours, circle the transfer that was made from ur dad's account and let him write a sponsor account.

Here's my question do I need attach a sponsorship letter from my dad in my application. 2) I will be staying with a friend who is a British citizen during my visit, do I need a letter from him as well.
*Note duration of stay. 1week 5days
* At the moment currently Unemployed.
What other documents can I add to show that my intention are genuine and that am not planning to break any immigration laws.
Thank you in advance

Leave the money in ur father's account, transferring huge amount into ur account at this time would raise the ECO's eyebrow.... however, how old are you? You married? Do u have kids? Even at that you are unemployed, u have a very slim chances.

If truly she has the 1M in her account, let her use her salary account, e e you have 100million pounds in your account, they have no business with you, They wanna know if truly she can afford to cater for herself when in the UK. But if u insist you wanna sponsor her without her account then apply with immediate effect, Use priority, and also use iKeja, a trial will convince us.
