Please those going to University of Bolton January intake, how did you pay deposit? Iv gone over the offer letter several times and its not on their website. Urgent response needed pls!! If you are for Jan 2021intake and you haven't been able to book for TB test, go to IOM or send someone there with your offer letter to book for you if your are not in Abuja or Lagos. I was there yesterday and that was what was happening. Apparently no more space till next year due to double and triple bookings. |

Good day all. Can I use my stanbic mutual funds account for visa application or should I transfer the money to another account? I have gotten admissions from Salford and Sunderland for MSc Data science, but I'm waiting for BCU and DMU before I choose. |

IMPORTANT: 1. learning languages isn't by the number of months or when you started, its the number of hours spent studying and immersing added up that counts (confirm from reputable FLE sources) 2.No one can guaranty you success this journey is at least 60% YOU!!! 3. great tip i got from InnerFrench channel on youtube, use different teachers. 3 Likes 1 Share |

to those starting, or on the journey already, LISTENING: peppa pig cartoon is your best friend. i was always watching this in A1 class then before i graduated to watch the witcher, supergirl, and wakfu in frech (without subtitles). like our seniors advice always, you must live it. even if you dont understand it, keep listening. i was also listening to RFI even when it all sounded like rubbish now i follow them to repeat their adverts on RTL. like mamaroon adviced somewhere on the thread, Prepmyfuture is essential for listening, it will train u on what to listen for. dont go and cram past questions ONLY and enter hall.make e no shock u. I started using it A2.1 and was getting 0/10. story for another day. READING: learnt a lot of vocab and started reading at IEF, after i left i continued to read mostly french papers, novels and newspapers(not as much as i should) also started reading long texts since A2.1, couldn't understand most of it, google translate was my bestie now we discovered deepl translate. SPEAKING: i was afraid initially, but Mr Paul gingered me, also i was always listening to french and you know it helps our speaking. propulse training, David le blanc are great resources (Mimi tef was doing me somehow) However, for the past 2-3 months i and some friend speak (and gossip) in french for at least an HOUR 5* a week. speaking on every and any subject, which helped me on exam day because i didnt pause when speaking, yes i made mistakes ( forgot the verb reprendre) but i made it with confidence. lol. also its not necessary to cram alot of things. learn it and wing the rest its a conversation with your friend (section B) not job interview. WRITING: this one pass me. i know i make alot of errors when typing. one advise i got and ignored was to do dictation everyday to help with erreurs d'othograph and write write write and pray they bring back paper, because EE sur l'ordinateur isnt a joke. Im now taking the advice and open to others. plan to do alot of self study, continue with the french meeting with my friends, and send my writing samples to M.Paul and whoever i find again. in all TEF na exam, dont over estimate yourself, be comfortable with the language and do targeted exam studies. TO THOSE THAT WROTE IN JULY AND AUGUST, THAT COME AND READ HERE WITHOUT SHARING EXPERIENCE TO HELP OTHER , YES I'M JUDGING YOU!!! 25 Likes 10 Shares |

Kelvinkipler: Im hoping to take the test again in a couple of months. Iv started studying again paying attention to EE. Any advice is welcome. First of all, I started the french journey Nov last year @ IEF Yaba(0816833877). Special shoutout to Mademoiselle Blessing who took our class and Monsieur Joshua. After 3 months A2.1, i left due to several reasons mainly stress and time wasted in traffic among others. I then found another french teacher, Monsieur Paul of excellent services( 07067119763). O boy ! if you are learning french and you have'nt had a conversation with a native speaker, especially an African native speaker, hmm, my listening was always advanced for my level but it took me 2 weeks to understand him, and for speaking too, he was God sent but not exactly cheap as i paid for a private class initially. covid interrupted after 7 weeks, but we continued to talk and chat often. finished A2 and most of B1. Ensuite, i self studied the remaining B1 and B2. then was introduced to Mademoiselle Abigail of language hub mondial (09035436158) who forced me to start writing (i always ran away from writing homework, which back fired) only did a month of TEF prep writing and speaking with her then decided to take a break before AF sent us mail our exams. 5 Likes 2 Shares |
