Congratulations !

Is it study permit or work permit?

Did you mean you didn't present bank statement or your sponsor?
It's study permit and she is fully sponsored with scholarship and so when the NSE request came in she didn't respond it but they were still waiting for the docs so 2days ago she uploaded the funding letter and all in the space for the required documents and the rest is history!!!
All praises to God!!!. January resumption!!!.

Hi everyone......
Please help a brother from depression because right now I don't know what to do or think if right now.....
Please I applied for my Canadian Study permit Visa on the the 2nd of October I did my biometrics on the 16th of October,I received my NSE LETTER on the 17th of November but I didn't submit the required documents.....so since then I have not gotten a response from them till now I only mailed them earlier giving them reason I can be able to submit the documents required on NSE Letter.
So please what should I do now
Should I book for my upfront medicals or should order for GMCS note or send them anweb from please I need your suggestion please.......
Thanks in advance......
Cc : Frank
Why not do your MEDICALS that might trigger your Application as for the NSE thingy I don't think is compulsory if you gave a genuine reasons as to why you can't get it fine some didn't submit and their application was processed and approved self but if you feel the need to now then it's fine but try book for Medicals and do it someone here shared of how he had passed his eligibility and didn't know it's medicals that was delaying his application only for him to order his notes and saw it

There are different options when making use of Flywire Corporation for international tuition payment. There is an option that states you can make payment in USD with your dollar card and there is another that confirms that you can pay in USD through an international bank transfer. The international banks requires a swift code and the bank details which you will have to process using a FORM A. Apparently, most commercial banks are complaining that CBN has reported to have scarcity of forex to carry out international transactions. It takes over 7 to 8 weeks for payment to be made. At this juncture, your best option is to get someone abroad (preferably Canada) to make the payment on your behalf, while you send the equivalent in Naira to the person's account.

I hope this information helps.

It will end in praise
This will be my last resort getting someone I know in Canada to pay and I pay the equivalent.Thank you Frank I understand now.

Teeprecious:

Form A is 301naira to one CAD but this is subject to availability of what the govt supplies to the banks. Most banks already have backlogs of form A request and on queue waiting for Fx. Therefore, except one has plenty time to wait for the processing period, then one can use form A cos its the cheapest, but if there is a deadline,an alternative must be sought quickly.I have someone whose account is yet to be debited for form A done since 30th Dec.
Am not even using the Form A I am looking for alternatives and USD black market rate is even higher
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by awys: 11:00am On Feb 04, 2021
@Frank Robbn 1 if one selects the international bank transfer in CAD which they charge extra 30cad dollars cuz I saw the options there can one still use the visa /MasterCard to pay which is in Naira and not USD
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by awys: 10:43am On Feb 04, 2021
Frankrobbn1:

Flywire corporation rates are very outrageous especially if you select the Naira option of making payment. You can choose the international bank transfer in USD option, the rate is moderate.

It will end in praise
But if one selects the USD one needs to have the dormicilliary account and find it with USD right even the black market rate for USD isn't funny at all am also trying to pay my fees as flywire is the option given by my school to pay but the rate this morning is 399 and using FORM A in the bank they said it takes forever I don't know what other option I can think of i have a deadline of February 15th to pay or else they will charge for late payment of $77 Winnipeg want finish me I tire

Hello house, has anyone used flywire to make payments recently? Is their rate pocketly friendly and can I have an idea of what the rate is like.
I anticipate a feedback as I am looking for rates that won't send me back to our village o.
I have used it before to pay Application fee for Uni of Winnipeg and as I checked today is at 399/$ though it's fluctuating so you have to keep tab on though am planning on using it to pay for my tuition fees cuz that's the only platform my school uses so am monitoring it to see if it will go down

Agent yes. But I get mails and relay to him. Except he got the main mails don’t know
For paper application you are meant to submit your passport alongside with your Application I guess you didn't submit your passport with your Application and as I read here paper Applicant don't get passport request you will receive your stamped passport back I guess that was why you received your BVL since December 1st 2020 without further update maybe as they didn't see your passport with your Application they were silence about it that was why they replied that you need to submit your passport

Sorry about your delay. I went through the exact same thing with University of Winnipeg. That was why I said conditional offer in my detailed post earlier.
Eventually I was dropped out of the list for my preferred course of study (pgd Human Resources) because class was full; I had to take on the next available course (Advance business management certificate). Even this one I was put on the waiting list so it was shaky. But as God will have it, I got my AIP and was enrolled at dying minute. That is why I say this journey will try your patience in every possible way.
My advice to you is to take the next best step at every juncture of setback, just don’t give up. Keep moving.

Even with
I also enrolled for the Advanced Business Management for May 2021 intake ooo please should I go ahead to pay cuz I don't know what to do now I applied for my visa application since October hoping I would get response before January ooo

THE LONGEST WAIT OF MY LIFE!
It can only be God!

Thanks to all the gurus! (I’m sorry, I can’t seem to remember their handles now)

I have been a silent member of this platform, but I must confess that I have benefited a lot; that is why my conscience have not allowed me to rest without coming back to share for the benefit of others, just like I was also blessed by others.
So, Permit me to share my testimony to inspire or boost someone’s hope.

• I started this journey in 2019, I started by doing a lot of research (Nairaland, etc.), university portals, websites, and all that
• Jan 2020 I travelled to my Nig uni to collect a student copy of my transcript and started applying for admission in Canada

Educational Qualifications and experience are as follows:
- B.Sc business Administration - 2004
- MBA (Human Resources) - 2014
- Total 15 years post graduate experience
- Recent experience: 5 years procurement role
- Preferred course of study - pgd Human Resources
- Canada institution - university of Winnipeg (fall - sept2020 intake)
- Conditional Acceptance letter - April 2020
• Visa application timeline:
Online Application submitted - June 14, 2020
• Documents: -
I created 7 folders and scanned all these documents into them:
Folder 1 - Study permit form (IMM ...)
Folder 2 - Data page; photocopy of previous visas. (Canada visitor visa 2019, Dubai 2015, China business tourist visa 2013) Note: all these visas were expired at the time of application
Folder 3- Letter of acceptance; Receipt of payment for school fees; MBA transcript; B.Sc transcript; A WELL WRITTEN SOP (notarized); CV; All educational certificates;
Folder 4- Financial support documents (Reference letter from bank; Bank statement for 4 months (Bal - about 10m); bank e-statement for 6 months; pay-slip, employment letter, study leave letter (note:I wrote and signed ball these office letters by myself even though I used valid contact phone no and informed my colleague); sigma pension reference letter; Narration of income letter; property offer letter (worth 30m but not fully paid for, included my receipt worth 8m); change of name documents; notarized convent letter from spouse; Narration of income letter ( as at middle March 2020 I maintained a balance of about 4m (inflow of about 20m within 3 months) then I lodged in the additional 4-6m within March to June when I submitted my application ( I tagged each payment with a narration - e.g, sale of car, sale of land, etc. )
Folder 5 - Digital passport
Folder 6 - Pre- medical (IOM); police certificate; biometric certificate (remember I had been issued a Canada visitor visa last year)
Folder 7: Family information form (IMM .....)

I would also like to state that I opted to use an agent, this is because I didn’t want my usual procrastination to delay me. I wanted someone to put me on my toes, but that even proved wrong as she was so relaxed, all he did was gave me a list of documents as seen above; I filled the forms myself, did all the paperwork myself; even SOP was written by self; after I sent the documents I was even the one putting pressure and asking... Have you submitted? Have you submitted?
Fast forward to...
AIP - August 5, 2020
Online classes - August 2020

The legendary wait started, Anxiety mixed with full time online school, full time job, etc. ‘mBe patient, No update!’’ was the only response I always get from the agent no matter the long message I type...lol it was frustrating not been able to access your application by yourself sha. The agent was also physically and worse still emotionally unavailable for me... lol
I am not discrediting any agent but personally I can say that I didn’t see the need for me to. All the agent did was to give me a list, which I had already gathered from my research here, and the IRCC website. So it’s safe to say that I paid for a list of documents, and for someone to just submit my application (waste of money I think); But work with your conviction and depending on your case too.
January 3 2021 - submitted a webform, no response till now
January 17 2021 - I requested for GCMS via getgcmsonline.com, no response on that as well till now
January 27,2021 - PPR
Submitted passport @ DHL with printer PPR letter and biometric certificate on January 28, 2021.

Canada PR/citizenship dream loading! All glory to God!

Last advice to anyone on this journey: (1) Have a trailer load of patience! (2) please spend time researching, read!read!read! Please! I’m not saying don’t ask questions or seek guidance but please make sure it is very reasonable please!

Please I am going to put this out there in advance, I might not be available to answer questions on this as I am very very busy and that is why I am doing a very detailed post.

I decree my testimony in anyone waiting on this line of miracle! It will end in praise!

Additional timeline
• Sponsor – Self (married but single applicant)
• Age – 35
• Application type - online
Also, Visa denials to UK and USA previously (I scanned this refusal letters to the agent, I don’t know if she included them)
Congratulationsssssssssssss

There are usually three main intakes in a year:
Fall
Winter
Summer

I want to believe that study permit quotas would be evenly spread across the three intakes. If we assume that Canada intends to issue 50,000 study permits in 2021, this number would be divided by the three terms (and with recourse to all the factors I had enumerated).

Based on this logic, the best time to apply should be 5-6 months before the start date of the term (or even earlier). This isn't always feasible as some schools offer admission very late, but if you do get the admission letter early, apply around 5 months before the start of term. This is not to say those who will apply late will get rejected. I'm only saying that you will have less players on the board when you apply early and that can be a good thing.

Boss I applied since October 2020 oo but going for May 2021 but yet to hear from them ooo which is more than 5months ahead!!! Or I applied too early
