Guru, do you think I should apply via DHA's e visa platform again? I was rejected late last month

Congratulations

Please which bank's account statement did you use? I am beginning to think they are not accepting the one downloaded from the GT platform (the stamped and signed one)

Sageofekiti:
My e-visa application was approved. I just received the notification.

Hi Guys,

following my rejections, I am unable to make the first block of classes starting next week, I informed the school and they were gracious enough to let me join the second block of classes starting in November - this gives me enough time to apply again. do you advise I try the e-visa again or do I do a physical application? the issue with the physical application for me is the fact that I have to drop my passport and my job doesn't allow for that, I might need to travel at any moment. If a apply again for e-visa what can I do differently? reason for rejection is invalid bank statement

this is absolutely correct, thanks for preparing my mind. I got the mail about a response on Thursday but no download icon, I mailed them on Friday and Saturday - finally heard back from them today. my application was rejected due to bank statement. I submitted with a reference letter and healthy balance. I guess it is just a wrong time for applications for now

hunee:
Mostly when the application comes without that icon, it is rejected. Mostly like that

Yes i am too
I submitted 3 applications on the 13th, only yesterday i receive the same message and couldn't download correspondence .

If you all have similar problem, how did you plan solving it ?

I am experiencing the same issue now, I applied on the 14th and I just got an email saying the outcome was received but I don't know how to check if the application was successful or rejected.

I think it a requirement I am also trying to apply now and it is listed under the compulsory documents. you can get it even if you're not in Nigeria. I got mine while in I was Sweden, I filled in my details on the POSSAP site and made payment. I then had to make contact with someone locally who then sent me the form for fingerprint. I filled the form, scanned back and got the certificate in my email next day . the issue I am having is with my maiden name etc, I think I will just attach my change of name affidavit and hope for the best.

hi friends, has anyone done the e-visa visitors short stay without police clearance certificate?

Good afternoon all, thanks for all the information it was been very helpful. I need some advised though, I am trying to apply for visit visa via dha's e-visa platform but I am having some slight issues with my NIN/BVN due to my surname being changed recently - I want to find out if it is advisable to apply without it - I have a police Certificate with my maiden name but I am trying to ensure all my documents have the same name. thanks

Thank you so much for sharing. Please how much in total did you spend on super priority and the whole visa stage including the IHS?

IHS cost N148,338 and the visa fee was N671,949 using my FCMB card

Congrats. Please can you share your first and second credibility interview questions?

Thanks. For my first application, the ECO asked all the normal questions you see online - why did you choose the school, course, what other courses where you considering, why did you settle on this school/course etc. - I will attach the excerpts from my refusal transcript to show what was picked on . Anyway tried to explain myself with the AR - that I don't have to do a management course to take up a management role and that the ECO didn't hear me properly that I meant N400,000 and not N400 but the AR was not successful. When I was doing my first application, I included letters from my office and my payslip which is probably why the ECO asked me work related questions - so it's best to avoid including unnecessary documents.

For this application, there was no interview because it was super priority

All glory to God!

I got my visa today!

Thanks for all your support.

For anyone trying to apply - I would suggest opting for priority or super priority if you can afford it. As I mentioned before, I applied in September and got rejected. I submitted the same application again which was successful. The only difference is the credibility interview which I feel is very tricky and maybe should be avoided. Also avoid including unnecessary documents, stick to what they ask for.

Good luck to everyone.

Thank you much @Zoey1 and @oamronnie
Zoey1:
If You are doing a study of more than 6months outside London thats £1015 x 9 =£9135.
£9135 - £250 = £8885
To be on the safe side use rate of £1 = N500
Thats estimated N4.5M
If you have the required funds for maintainance just relax about withdrawal, if they have any concern they will let you know, never heard any issues about withdrawals before with UKVI.

Yes I have paid a deposit of 250pounds
Zoey1:
Have you paid any part of your accomodation fee?
If Yes I am not sure the withdrawals will pose a problem if your balance never at any of 28 days dropped below required.

Hello guys,

Please I need your advice.

My appointment is on Monday and I am having doubts concerning my bank statement.

I have paid my tuition in full so I am only required to have a little over N4m in my account but I have more than that. The statement I printed today is from Nov 1 - Nov 30 the difference between the opening and closing balances is about N2m - meaning I had more withdrawals than deposits - BUT I didn't as anytime go below the required N4m. I spoke to someone today, and she expressed concerns that it may be an issue for me - i.e having such a huge amount of withdrawals within the month.

I have another statement from the period of Jul 1 - Nov 15 (3 months) and this statement shows a higher closing balance than opening - i.e more deposits than withdrawals. This issue with this is that it is for 3 months and it is not recent.

Please which statement do you suggest I use? I am very apprehensive because I applied in September this year and got rejected based on the credibility interview and I have had two visit visa rejections (2016). Thanks
