There should still be something showing even if it is not connected to the network. Are you wirelessly connected or ethernet connected? when you type 'ipconfig /all', it shows the Hardware address (MAC address) associated with all your NICs installed on your machine. It may just show some odd IP address.

Please kindly do an 'ipconfig /all' in your command prompt and screen shot it and post it here you can edit out the MAC address if you like for security.

Sorry that this is coming late,I may not be able to screen grab the cmd out since I'm not connected to the internet to download software to do that.. I share my android phone internet with my PC and the laptop is working perfectly fine ..it's only the tablet that's having this problem.. it started immediately I reloaded the o.s..could the security features out of date also give rise to this?

I do not know if this question has been answered but if you're able to traceroute your local host 127.0.0.1 and are not able to ping other addresses on your LAN, even when you're connected to the Internet on both devices on the same LAN, then the issue is with your IP address assignation. It's not really an issue but you have to manually set your IP addresses and not configure them by DHCP. Manually configure your IP address, gateway and DNS server.. and it should work just fine. This has happened to me a number of times and setting the IP addresses manually worked for me. Give it a shot.

Unfortunately, you must have to watch some videos to see how a small simple solar dryer looks like and how it can be constructed with less than 4k, you need to watch how tomatoes are solar dried and made into powder and how the powder is re-constituted into tomato paste...it is visual based.

traceroute is used for Linux/UNIX based devices aka Apple (Mac), Ubuntu, Red Hat, Android, etc.

Since you are on a Windows device, can you type 'ipconfig /all' you should see a default gateway.

What I mean is that traceroute is used from the CLI of any Cisco devices while tracert can be used from cmd of a window devices.

I have similar problem.. I can only ping loopback I27.0.0.1 and I can't ping the IP address of my tablet.

It started when I reloaded my OS but if I find other means to access internet like using pdanet+ support,I do have internet which vividly depicts that it's not a NIC problem.

I think tracert is used for windows while traceroute is used on Cisco devices

i posted here a couple of weeks ago that my exam was schedule by first week of this month, well after i emulated someone here i made sure i did without dumbs and completed todd lamle 4 times and other materials, and ofc labbing, i had 789 out of 1000, i failed. Seriously the exam was more easier than it seems and i was able to finish within 1hr 15min, and i was so sure of passing until the computer calculated my score, psst alas i failed. i was devastated, 93k down the drain. well i realised my mistake was from the labbing, especially access-list. I registered again by now the price has gone up to 113k because of dollar rate, and as God would do it, my second to the last question was the same Lab i failed in my first attempt, and i got it right this time. I passed with a score of 941. Alhamdulilah. Next is CCNP Insha Allah
