i totally agree with you that our army is not conventional, however, if u remeber what happened in Objs tenure when he ordered the army to deal with militants in Odi (Timaya's song, Dem mama, describes this) and they ended up levelling the whole town and killing innocents. dat act didn't stop the militants neither will this renewed aggression,

i lived in dis region 4 about 2 years, ok.
a lot of these guys do everyday jobs, the kidnapping is kinda like a past time but once they're done they return to d cities & live their normal lives. an average young man in this region has either gotten a gun at home or has access to one in times of need. get d pic Debo??

another Odi in the making, nothing good comes out of war, u cannot find militants cos they're everday people. they go to work like u & me, the army's gonna end up killing civilians, afterall thats what militants are anyway. civillians with gunns.

its all cos d education system in d country is in shambles, if many of em students in Otta had a choice they'd have gone elsewhere, anyone know's what the NUC has said on this issue??
