This IFFHS da misbehave, how do you pack attacking minded Players here without a single Defensive Midfielder 🤔
They lost their credibility when Desire Oparanozie didn't make their all decade team. |

Yes, they are different but one largely determines the other.
And when we say market value in this context, we aren't talking about how much a player is bought for (this isn't even prevalent in women's football as most transfers are free) but how much perceived value a player would bring to the team on and off the pitch.
For example, Alexia's salary negotiation is primarily hinged on what she brings to the table off the pitch. Her brand alone rakes in a lot of money for Barcelona and that's why her new contract is likely to hit €1M. It does and it doesn't. Market value or not if u want a player to leave the US to play in Mexico u will have to give them a financial incentive. Just like Ashleigh moving to Saudi Arabia. U don't expect her to be earning what her mates in England are earning. 4 Likes |

AkinDS: Its simple market economics. Her valuation is at 100K, that's why she's earning that. No way does a player jump from 100K to 500K 'just because', especially when her valuation is 80% lower. The owners of Tigres UNAM aren't that generous, especially for a player who is not even in the top 50 players in the world.
Market value and salary are 2 completely different things. U are negotiating with 2 separate parties (the club and the player). 3 Likes 1 Share |

You do know there are Championship players who have earned over £100k a week.
So are u agreeing that some players make less than 1k in the EPL cos u didn't give me an answer. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Paris FC doesn't have the kind of defense that can win the champions league from my point of view. Their defense was good enough to defeat arsenal and Wolfsburg in 2 legs. Those are teams that were expected to make noise in this competition. I think it will all come down to the teams they play in the next rounds. If they get Barcelona early then good night but anyone else would be a toss up. That's of course if they make the next round. 1 Like |

Paris FC would make much sense though I doubt they can win the champions league even with Oshoala but they would perform way better with her though. They can win it this season. I wouldn't bet my house on it but it is very possible. They have good players and a very good coach. Nobody would want to face them in the next round. 2 Likes |

It might be her highlight and part of the total game but what's this total lack of awareness from her teammates defending? Including their Gk doing onanana esque divings? See how that one is strolling instead of defending. Only for Christy to end that attack. I've counted 8 so far. I'm not even focusing on Christy.😂😂😂
That's a terrible backline without Christy Ucheibe in it. Kante baby. Everywhere at the right time!!
Imagine her in a Roberto Carlos role. We need to vote on Google after these matches ooo cos warris this? Ridiculous ratings

Some stats are widely available because they are public information and not hidden.
We say in Warri , "Na money kill beta Soup"
It's also said among the British, You get what you pay for.
Many again prefer the delusional fantasy over established facts truths and convention. The best players cost money 🤑 it's simple. Poor players cost less and the poorest get paid very poorly.
Below is the average weekly wage bill €3392 for Chavez FC , the highest paid player is Rúben Ribeiro (Attacking Midfield) at €11,154 per week. Just his salary impact on that average weekly salary significantly.
It means there are players on less than €1k a week in Chávez FC, in a Portuguese premier League team, that tells you something about Chavez as well as the league they play in.🤔
I have compared the average salary of Chavez with Bradford FC an English League two team. Not a team in league one or the Championship, but the lowly English League Two.
Using Bradford City FC as a comparison see below and the difference seems academic, not much difference. That tells you a lot about the quality of the lower percentile of the Portuguese Premier league.
These stats are indicative of the low quality players in the lower half of the Portuguese league. I think that's self evident without being contentious.
Now tell me that Nwakali is an exceptional player, unless you want to be delusional and fantasy led by favouritism.
U do know there are EPL players earning less than 1k a week right? |

This is even bringing more light to how that dressing room atmosphere is. She's evidently playing maturity there. She win something and they're whispering and giving subtle jeers? My respect for Salma just went up a notch. Big time haters.
Zee too. Her face kon be like she dey fear🤣🤣 Or she heard some whispers as well. Smh We underestimate Oshoala's reach as a footballing icon. Young black girls from all over the world see her as their GOAT 5 Likes 1 Share |

I understand why they signed her. Many of their summer signings like Evelyn Ijeh haven't lived up to expectation. I however doubt the salary. Very fee people earn that amount even in better leagues, doubt they'll offer that in Mexico. How do you know the cartel isn't involved ![grin](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/grin.png) |
