onyi888: HI. CONGRATS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS GOTTEN PPR!!!!!
i have a question, (we just applied 2 weeks ago). anyway, so my spouse was refused visa into the US in December 2017, but i didnt state that in my application neither did i upload her refusal letter. will that be a problem? ![angry](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/angry.png)
In my opinion you're fine. Nothing to panic about. US refusals are generic anyway.. Just raise a CSE if it will make you sleep better at night. |

thekingskiddy: I cannot help but ask. Aren't the questions asked in the IMM 5669 E schedule A Background/Declaration form exactly the same contained in the online PR application? Why then is it necessary to supply the same information in an attachment? This may be a question for your visa officer when the document is being requested. Goodluck 2 Likes |

He needs to send a personal email to President Trump, copying the last 3 American presidents. He'll get an automated response, he should print that out, scan and upload to this PR application.
Don't thank me. I'm nice like that, you're welcome. You're just mean ! Lmao |

exceedinglory: Morning E-family,
Please I need your advice. I am completing schedule a background / declaration form in advance since I was refused a study permit by High Commission of Canada last year. Please is the correct answer to e Yes or No ?
Regards, It's no. Refusal of entry is different from visa refusal. That means you got to a point of entry in Canada or any country and you were returned. |

rainazoe: Please our frequent fliers, I saw that BA is cheaper and faster than Ethiopian airlines on Wakanow but the connection flight to CA is at Gatwick rather than Heathrow where we will land from Naija. Layover is also 6hrs+.
Would it be wise to take this option because Gatwick 45mins+ outside London, would BA transfer our lugggae and handle the flight transfer or we would have to debark at Heathrow and find our way to Gatwick and is the 6hr layover okay for all this waka upandan.
What's your destination? I saw some connections for LOS -LHR- DUB- YYZ for 380k or thereabout there's also LOS- LHR-JFK- YYZ for about 390k Also depends on your dates. Check travelsstart. 1 Like |

She doesn't have a birth certificate from NPC. Please how can I go about this? Will cic accept this? How else can I back this up? Or should I jejelly go back into the pool? I have already accepted the Ita and started filling the forms already.. Please kindly advise Is your sibling married? If she is, you can use marriage certificate. Or she can swear a new affidavit and include her parents names after all they already have her details on the system and I assume your name should be in her family information too. |

BoboXIV: Hello all,
Congratulations on your IELTS results!
3. PCC: Ive seen this asked and answered before, but just reconfirming that even though the Nigerian PCC from Alagbon states a validity of 3 months, the CIC/IRCC/VO recognises it for a period of 1 year? We got the certificates in late November.
I'd advise you get a new PCC done.
4. Travel History: I am unable to upload complete scans of my visa pages below the 4/5mb limit. Tried everything possible to compress scans, but not working. Question is, is travel history supposed to be for the last 10 years only? And if I can't upload scans, is stating it in the LOE that I have additional travel history necessary?
You can compress your documents.

The days of 12 - 15 weeks are over.
Thank you.

Pettyperty: Hello everyone, Pls I need a little help. Actually I have like 500 questions but let me ask two first ![grin](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/grin.png)
I have 3 kids. two kids who are u.s citizens and one a Canadian. (By birth) will I need to apply for them? Will they still be required to do Medicals?
I have to get pcc from 6 countries in which I'm still figuring out how to get them one by one. (Maybe by 2020 I go don collect am finish) im hoping to request for all pcc at onceGiven the time of expiry. If by event I'm unable to get one (or 2) can I just explain and show proof that I tried all my best to get them?
I'm thinking once I get 4 out of the 6 pcc I should just dive. Thank you
My suggestion will be to go on CIC website and read about how to obtain PCC from those countries. Of course you'll have to apply for your children. You just won't pay for the Canadian child. |

fizzile: Hey guys, been a lil bit worried and contemplating on some decisions. As for my profile, i have an overall band of 8.0... Speaking 8.5, Listening 7.5, writing 8.0 and reading 7.5. I have a Masters and am currently 30yrs of age. The issue i have at the moment is that during my work experience, i didnt really receive payslips but direct salary pay. Please whats the best advice you can give at this moment? I calculated my CRS and it is about 412. I would suggest you retake the IELTS and get a minimum of 8 in listening... Your issue is not even an issue as Payslips are not mandatory. However if requested you can print out your bank statement and highlight your salary deposits. Goodluck |
