Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Beedollas(f): 8:25am On Nov 04, 2021
I still need more input please, gurus in the house, help

Beedollas:
hi sir, thank you for your response. shamefully, i have tried getting a hang on how to send you a pm but not succeeded :- however i have gone through the thread and will like to drop my status for the gurus in the house to help put me on the right track.

I am a widow with two children age 4 and 6 years old, it has been a hectic 4 years for me since my husband died. I have been struggling with high blood pressure, depression and other health challenges due to emotional distress. my kids are finally old enough to stay with my mom for atleast 3 weeks without me, and i wanted to use this opportunity to take a break, a well deserved vacation grin My brother inlaw has offered to sponsor me on the trip so i plan on going to uk under tourist visa on the 18th of December if im granted Visa.

I do business, and my 12 months bank statement is currently over 3m, although the ending balance is zero lolx. i do not have a registered company and dont have any trace of salary paid to my account, except money i make from sales... this made me opt for unemployment while filling the form to avoid me fumbling when asked to defend my funds.

question 1 ... will the unemployment status affect my application, being that ill be 100% sponsored by my inlaw?
2 what documents does my inlaw have to give as my sponsor?
3 will i need any document to proof that i was married / widowed? if yes, please what documents do i need to submit?
4 Do i also need to proof that i have kids, as my tie? if yes what documents of my kids do i need to submit?
5 i plan to stay in a hotel for the whole period (3 weeks) because i dont know anyone in uk, will this be a problem?
6 is it to late to apply for a standard Visa now, knowing that i want to travel on the 18th after my children school term closes?
7 if yes to no 6, is it advisable to apply for a priority on a vacation? what will be my reason for the rush?
8 my hotel and flight already is at a million naira, and i wanted to add 300k for other expenses as food, transportation, tour and shopping for my kids, making it a total of 1.3m for the trip, considering this, how much does my inlaw need to be earning or have in his account to be on a safe side?
9 please a page on the application form asked "why are they sponsoring you"? is this where im supposed to write my self introduction letter? and is it compulsory?
10 finally grin please i read that im supposed to write in detail my itinerary through out my stay, stating in detail how ill be spending the whole 3 weeks attaching cost and names of places ill be visiting, which will have to sum upto my total estimated expenses, is this information correct? if no, please what do i need to do in that regard.

I will also appreciate any information or a pointer as to how I can make my letter of explanation convincing . Any good writter in the house?

God bless you all as i anticipate clarification.

Thank you for your response

Tutu82:

I would say based on the information you provided in your application form, the consular officer did not find you eligible to enter the United States. Therefore it was not necessary to check your physical documents.

You cannot ignore a question you clearly know the answer to plus the fact US rejected you does not mean Uk will do the same.

Good evening house, please i need help urgently. i was denied USA visa in 2018,im not sure why, because the officer only asked if i was currently pregnant, i said no...then he said i was not eligible to go to usa, he didt even check my documents etc. i was given a green slip which i have lost over the years. although the international passport i used then had expired, im currently using a virgin passport for my uk visa application

im on the page where im asked if ive been refused visa before, should i include that information or i ignore it? since its not the same passport used? and since i really cant tell the reason why i was refused.

Thank you Sir for your response, I really appreciate . Please anyone else ?
Sir for the flight the least I've seen is 476k air france. And hotel in booking.com , I went for the least price which was also around that rate, although it's reduced now after I reduced the days to 14. Do you have any idea about a cheaper hotel reservation and flights I could check out?

Gentlesoul3268:

Sorry to hear all your story is very touching but God is with you...

Well with the little of my experience I had ...

1First of first you are category as a self employed, since you are doing a business but is not registered or having business account . But you can claimed a petty trader to make it easier by writing cover letter explain it and if you can get the invoice or receipt of what you are doing or selling.

2. Your inlaw will submit he or she birth certificate to claim as your inlaw and he will send the money for sponsor you into your account and write a cover letter when he transfer the money and what the money meant for and write a well cover letter explaining all whole thing eg as your inlaw and the reason he wanted to sponsor you and since your husband is late you have been depressed and the family want you to change the atmosphere etc.
3. You need to submit your married certificate alongside with your late husband death certificate.
4. Yes you have to prove that you have a children by submit their birth cert, pic you took together etc.
5. Staying in the hotel is not a crime but try to cut your visit to 2 weeks so that you won't spend a lot .
6. Yes you can apply and opt to priority if you can afford it.

8. Your budget is too high for hotel and flight try and look for a cheaper hotel and your fight, is not compulsory you go with BA lol

9. Why are they sponsor you in the form put the reason your inlaw is sponsor you also write the cover letter ma.

10. Yes write your itinerary and specific what you wanted to do for each day eg. Dec 19: arriving in Heathrow air port, Dec 20: taking untimately time out to rest, dec 20 visit Buckingham palace,Dec 21visit London eye etc
Don't do breaking down your budget you can just say your visit will cost you soso.

Please try and cutting down your budget is too high hotel and flight couldn't cost you more than 500 pounds and extra 100 pounds for miscellaneous .

I'm just advising oooo about your budget ma but try and cut it down is too high

I hope this help little ? I believe my OGA at the top will also contribute

God bless you ma

Hello house, I just came across this thread and it's exciting to see lots of people have gotten their visa already. Please I am in the process of applying online. But I will consider myself as a novice, yes I have read somethings and documents I'll need but I'm not convinced that I know it all. I really don't want to make a mistake, or atleast get denied due to my mistake. Hence I'll plead for the assistance of the pro in the house, someone who's already gone the route and succeeded, I will love to follow your steps, not copy you but get an idea of what you did. Anyone whole help please? I won't mind contacting you via WhatsApp. Help me.

Hello dear, Weldon once again,. I have a question though, I understand this program does not have age limit, however I read somewhere that the age factor might still be a challenge in future when applying for PR after our 2 years of working with Work permit. For instance, someone who's 33 as at when given the work permit Visa will be 35 or 36 as the case may be when applying for PR, will this in any way affect their chances of getting the PR by then?
Twinkleberyl:

Firstly, to get into Canada to work as a caregiver, you have 2 options:
1. Work outside the province of Quebec:
The only way here if you are applying from outside Canada is through the home child care or home support worker immigration pilot. Requires: ielts clb 5, 1 year post secondary and a job offer. No LMIA required. Live in may not be neccessary. You can arrive Canada with your family

2. Work in the province of quebec;
The only way here is through the temporary foreign worker program for live in caregiver and it requires that your employer submits an LMIA to hire you. Requires 9 months caregiver training or 1 year paid caregiver work experience. You may not be able to arrive Canada with your family because all you will be getting is a temporary work permit that will expire in 2 years and you will need to show that you have something or someone that ties you back to your home country or convice the Visa officer that you will return back to your country at the expiration of your work permit. Though its possible to extend it or apply for permanent residence in Quebec after at least 1 year of working in Canada.
Live in may not be mandatory.

If an employer wants to sponsor or pay for your relocation costs, they will tell you or it will be spelt out in the job contract.
Live in arrangement for a caregiver arriving with family...you may have to find out from your employer what type of arrangement they have for you...cos it could be just a room in their house or a basement apartment. But its something your employer has to clarify themself.

WES will not evaluate the courses you study through this medium , this is just to help booster your CV for job hunting
You will still need to evaluate your certificate of atleast 1 year post high school qualification

ystrawberry:

please can WES evaluate courses from the above site or we do not need to evaluate our caregiving training certificate to proof Canadian equivalent.

Oh yes, this helps a lot, thank you so much for always responding promptly and extensively. I have purchased 2 courses, child care and kitchen management, got the discount coupon as well and paid for the PDF certificates, thank you.

Please any chance you know about any legit online academy I could get the 1 year post high school certificate (diploma) that will be accepted by WES for evaluation?
Thanks always for your help

Twinkleberyl:

Hi
To enrol in any of the courses you need to put the course in the cart (the basket icon). Then you get into the cart and pay from there. Theres also a promotion code on the home page of the course website that gives you discount on the course price.

The 1year quoted there means that you have access to the website for 1year to study the course materials, after 1 year you will loose access.

No, you cannot use this course to fulfill the 1year post secondary education requirement. What this course will help you achieve is the proof of your ability to do the job. We dont have any/much caregivers training programs in Nigeria. So these courses will help you prove that you have the professional know how. You should also get a volunteer job in a daycare (if you want to pursue home child care immigration pathway) or nursing home/hospital/home care agency (if you want to pursue home support worker immigration pilot). All of these will help you prove to the case processing officer that you have the know how and little work experience to do the job.

I hope this helps.

Hi

Thank you for this thread, I'll love to give this a shot, but I have a question. When an employer say she willing to sponsor you, what does it mean? Is it your travel fund ? Also, the live in Long term job hunt, does it mean the employer must be will to accommodate you and your family? Thanks in advance
