No.
Factors like the environment you grew up in, the kind of parents you had, the schools you attended e.t.c are what makes and shapes you.
You should watch freakanomics. Those guys had statistics to back it up, I think

Please can you help with good settings for Vray on Sketchup.

Unfortunately, i don't. I use 3dmax.
Let me recommend Lynda.com.
They have tons of instructional videos for virtually every software.

Even practicing Architects make more mistakes in "Contract Drawings" than something someone just did on the fly. On the issue concerning levels, yes it may appear that there is not much room between the door and floor on the sit out as you rightly observed but that is why they have modifications and variations, moreover the floor could be constructed to slant in a way so that rain water is channeled off. So there really isn't a big deal. And as for those scoring 50% and all that, i say wow. Cause it therefore means that your jobs are something else. Too much to be called Incredible. Please can we see yours to further inspire us the more.

He has a point.
If we are sticking to renders, this won't even be noticed.
But from a functional point of view, the finished floor level should be higher on the inside than the outside, say at least 100-150mm.

Yes.

Firstly, you do have a powerful laptop.

Secondly, not a bad render. How good are you at post processing? This looks like you rendered it in 3dmax and left it like that.

Thirdly, I think you should go easy on the harshness of your sun.Dusk settings look great on renders.

Fourth, your scale seems to be off, I'm looking at your cobblestones up front

Lastly, and most importantly, when you're picking your camera, always tilt it towards the ground or take it from up.DO NOT put your viewpoint at the middle of your building.

Good job and keep it up

Descartes:
Political stunt I guess undecided
Just watch out for his political aspirations in the offing wink

I gave that idea a little thought also...then I remembered he would have to replicate the concept in many villages abutting his own, which would cost him dearly.

He's just being noble.

Xiong Shuihua paid for wooden huts he grew up in to be knocked down
Tycoon then spent millions replacing them with luxury flats for residents
He has housed 72 families to repay them for their kindness in his youth
A further 18 families who were particularly kind will be given villas to live in
Elderly and low paid residents will also be given three meals a day for free
Flats constructed in Xiongkeng village in the city of Xinyu, southern China

christejames: hahahaa! @referring him to Google. Actually I'm a patriotic Nigerian who is optimistic about the future of this great country with lots of potentials. What i deduce from your write up is that most of the ethnic group in this country are having a major problem of national integration. Hmmm... Obviously the country is facing some challenges currently but i see this challenges as a test which we are gradually overcoming, we would come out of this test stronger and more united. As each day passes by the Nigerians that are tribalistic, ethnocentric, fanatic et al outgrow all those thought and they see theirselves as Nigerians who are suppose to protect the unity of the state. Its only on media (including nairaland) that you hear Nigerians say they don't like other Nigerians that are not from thesame ethnic group... So nna,i beseech you to join the rescue ship to salvage this great country?

This is encouraging.

juman: I don't think I would be alive that time.

But anyways, I would say there was one useless yoruba man (obj), he was the president for eight years and was forced to leave after the country blocked his third term wish but he forced a very sick man (yar adua) on the country after his second term.

He failed this country woefully.

He obviously made an impression (a bad one) on you
