@halleluyah,
You are better off applying for the Canada PR. There is a thread for it in travel section. |

@Flyca,
All what you raised have been addressed many times. Please do read the thread as I wouldn't be able to re-type them.
Summary, your work experience assessment has nothing to do with your opportunities or the type of work you can do. 4 Likes |

Please what if ITA comes out for him before EA re-evalution result? I'm asking because I'm in a similar situation. The end result is to get an ITA. You don't need the experience anymore as you will submit application based on the EOI. |

I got positive assessment from EA with no experience, eventhough I have 5years experience. Their explanation is that my reference letter doesn't include my job roles. Now I have got a reference with my roles, should apply for relevant experience assessment or should I go to EOI stage? Go to the EOI stage and apply with what you have. Then apply to EA for relevant experience, once the outcome is out, update your EOI. |

Oga Bellong, I thought Radiographers were hotcake in OZ? Like on the skill select its called Medical Diagnostic Radiographer and someone once showed a link that Ive been looking for showing that There is more demand than supply...
By age sha I have more points than him so I dunno... But I know you know more than me so... Provided you can meet the requirements of the body responsible (ASMIRT), you should be fine. I believe radiography will have additional process like other allied and para medical fields. Check the website of the assessing body to understand what is needed for a positive assessment. Yes, radiographers and sonographers are hotcake. 1 Like |

Beautiful piece...
The church of this age is no longer after the old time religion. The present church is nothing different from the church of the Laodiceans described in Rev 3:14-19.
Sadly, if we don't repent, the judgement for that church will come upon the present day church..

suigeneris2: Good afternoon great minds. Are there nurses in the house who has gone through this PR route. Or does anyone here knows how a nurse can boycott registration as a nurse before applying for PR. Read registration is in millions. Pls someone respond... thank you all You have to be registered with ANMAC before you can get positive assessment for PR application. There are two ways people go about it; 1. Follow through the registration process from Nigeria. This is a very long process. 2. Go on student visa by applying for the graduate entry nursing. It is about 18 months program. after the program, you can be registered with ANMAC and then PR. Irrespective of the pathway you follow, having at least 7 in each band for IELTS is a must. 3 Likes |

If you have a positive assessment already, what is stopping you from applying to the state nominating?
The only way to know if you will be invited is to apply. With 60 points, you should be able to get a 489 or even 190. You can't know until you apply. 1 Like |

Lajoie33: Good morning everyone, been a silent (aka ghost) follower. I've learnt a lot. Thank you all who are here selflessly helping... I am a radiographer and my question is somewhat specific, I have done some of the things needed: I wrote TOEFL and passed, Im gathering documents and I just wanted to know from someone who has done the assessment what I should expect as the result. This will determine if my husband should begin his own assessment to give us that extra 5 points. What is your husband's occupation? 1 Like |

Thanks for responding. In fairness, their website states 8-10 weeks but I have seen lots of people on here get faster responses on their assessments that's why I am worried. The assesment body used to be VETASSES but was recently changed to ACWA. Assessing authorities are different from another. You can't compare body A with B. In addition to the standard processing time, individual circumstances are also taken into consideration. My advice is for you to exercise patience. If nothing after 10 weeks, get in touch with them. |

Yes. I am claiming points for work experience.
Got assessed by ACS and had to submit only my employment reference letter on official letter head. You have to ask your company to provide you with your payslips. Go to inland revenue of your state to pay tax for the years covered. Present offer letter, payslip and tax certificate. |

applepiepr: Hello people,
For those who have gotten grant, I beg what did you submit to proof your employment?
I just got my ITA, but now am confused about how to proof employment for two of the companies I worked because they didn't pay regularly and no pension/tax return.
Please help. Are you claiming points for work experience? What documents did you submit for assessment? 1 Like |

To get additional 5 points from your spouse, his/her occupation on the same list as you and will do a skills assessment. A positive skills assessment is important to get the points. |
