My deadline to defer was in the first week of Feb but I chose not to defer because September was too far. It was a risk as the alternative is to withdraw from the prog and apply again but I held on to my fate and took the decision. I am currently in my first semester of study and hopefully will be in Canada by May when the second semester begins

I also applied in nov (5th to be precise) and there are still some people who applied in sept/oct still awaiting final decision. I think you should order ur gcms notes as it will give u more clarity. If you don't submit the confirmation letter will ur admission be withdrawn? Luckily my school does not have such condition although I have passed my deadline to defer but I chose not to defer with faith and also because my gcms notes shows everything is proceeding accordingly (eligibility says recommend interview). It will definitely end in praises for us still waiting

I just go a mail from my school that they have extended the deadline to April 9. I pray and hope I gets response before then

Will share my timeline soon, meanwhile I plan to use Lagos VFS because from the recent trend it seems their processing timeline has improved. Please since this is my second application and I did my biometric at Lagos VFS do I still have to pay the transmission fee?

I got 2 mails that I had messages about my application, then I logged into my account. Status of application showed approved, and then i saw the messages in my account. Correspondence letter and passport request.

Please first of all check if your application is still within the processing time whether regular or NSE if it has Elapsed do send webforms and mails. That what I did as advised by experienced gurus in this thread...

I applied to the same school 2019 for fall 2020 and wasn't given a refusal letter or acceptance letter. I checked later last year and saw that my application is no more in the admission section maybe because the admission intake has passed and I didn't get a supervisor and all the ones I mailed that were related to my program didn't respond and I even called them but they didn't agree. Only one gave me another of option of mailing a supervisor in Guelph because that he was taking in students but I didn't message him. Please try to get a supervisor because if you have one ready to take you in the your chances of getting admitted into your proposed program is high

Biometrics completed since November 23rd, Eligibility review started 2 weeks ago after sending mail and webforms to All the IRCC center, This Friday is deadline to submit confirmation letter to school and I am presently in my 11th week of lectures online... No response from IRCC on either BVL or PPR .. Is there anyone with a similar situation?

Nope, just funding for the program, if the Supervisor has external funding and grants you and he accepts to be your supervisor your admission and all is sure

After you have found the school you need to email potential supervisors because most agricultural programs are research based with will need grants and funding for 2 years.

Please I need all your help, I applied for a work permit VISA since Sept 5th 2019 and up till now still waiting for response from IRCC. My medical has been updated and stated passed on their website since March 28th 2020 not until Jan 25th 2021, I got a mail requesting that they want to know whether the job still holds, I have sent a confirmation of employment from my employer stating that the job is still valid since the 28th of Jan 2021 and up till now no news. I later requested for my GCMS notes and discovered that my PPR was updated on the 17th of July 2020 and I didn't receive any mail to submit my passport, they are now requesting for confirmation of employment which I have sent since Jan. I don't really know much but I suggest you check and make sure the email you submitted was perfect and also check your IRCC portal to confirm and you can also mail them that your notes says PPR updated and no mail to provide it. It might also be due to the pandemic..

Didn't Notice when background check started but it was already on before I got NSE request on December 15, 2020.

Submitted NSE docs 27thDecember,2020

Confirmation of receipt of additional document December 28th,2020(via mail) status was back to Submitted from action required.

Deferred admission to Fall 2021 on January 20th which was the deadline for deferral.

Medical request- January 25th, 2021.
Noticed eligibility review started on 25th too as I checked on 24th before I slept and it was just on background check in progress.

AIP 26th of January (via mail) though the AIP was dated 25th.

Medical March 6th

Medical updated to passed March 12th

PPR and BVL March 16th.

NEW LOA VIA WEBFORM March 16th (was informed this wasn't necessary though)

Passport submission via DHL to Abuja March 18th

Will provide a detailed list of documents submitted later.

Grateful to everyone who has contributed to this platform previously and those still active, all the information gathered were helpful.

Check if your application is still within the processing time if it's not you can bombard them with webform and mails

Upfront Medicals: 21st January, 2021.

After 40 mails and webforms to IRCC, finally
BVL and PPR : 17th March, 2021.

5 months.

It has finally ended in praise. Thanks to all everyone who answered my questions even when the question sounded dumb. Lol. Thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum. I did everything myself and i learnt everything I know from here.


Special thanks to Justmellow, Frankrobbn1, Qudkom (haven't seen this moniker in a while), lekiboboe, etc. I even sent mails this morning before receiving ppr. I can now finally pay my tuition before the deadline which is next week Thursday. To everyone who is expected ppr, keep praying. God always comes through for his children.

I sent a mail to the school requesting why I was refused admission and saying how I hv passed through the hurdle of getting a study visa. And now refused admission on my third trial.

Cut the long story short they gave me the admission. My portal was changed from refused to admitted

Nope I didn't, I wasn't requested to submit NSE I just submitted my bank statement from my sponsor which is my parent during the application and deadline to submit approval letter is next week Friday and I am presently in my 3rd month of attending class online... Webform sent March 4th, sent another March 16th.

Good morning everyone. I don't know if I'm wrong about this but nse may not be 20 days. It's ranging from 30 to 40 days.
20 days was when the processing times was at 8 weeks. Now its 15 weeks so literally It's 20 × 2= 40 days. So from 30 to 40 days if you submit your nse documents before getting replying.

Omo, this one that they have increased the processing time like this what will now happen because as at when I sent webform and mail the processing time was 14weeks now my application is 16 weeks no response

My Application took exactly 360 days. 5 more days to make it 1 year.
But God has done it. PPR dropped yesterday.

- Medical Request: 1st October 2020
- Document Request (New LOA):- 5th October
- Medical Updated to Passed: 14th October 2020.
- Biometric Validity Letter (BVL) :- February 26th,2021.
- Original passport request (PPR):- March 15th, 2021. (17 days after BVL)

Sent several Webforms and Mails before PPR dropped.
