a)They are single young guys b)i don't know much about married people trying to unite, but from people say its only after the course completion and u are gainfully employed, earning above a specified amount, then u can import or take your partner. c)they stayed in the country working menial jobs to survive, they couldn't continue health wise because of the stress in their laborer jobs, they left Ireland after much search for a better accounting job.
Please don't get me wrong, people get jobs in PWC , EY, KPMG,AMAZON, Facebook etc even before graduation, it depends either u registered for ACCA or you came out with a 1st class when your result been converted, then chances are high you get the job.
Thanks, If one is getting a job do they confirm the certificate from Nigeria or they. just make do with the Ireland certificate |

To be truthful, ireland is totally bleeped... i am in ireland everyday and the cost of living here is something else. To get GNIB appointment na GOLD, took me 3 months to get mine and still bills must be paid,Rent like 800 euros and above if you want to stay by yourself, don't get me wrong you can get for 500-700euros but u go tire to find. How much do u earn 9.55 euros an hour and only required to work for 20 hours a week with tax to pay around 2-5%. Transport a week in dublin about 20 euros, feeding never join. There are menial jobs eg, warehousing and picking fruits about 10euros per hour, if you go there u go see men with red passport still dey do warehouse jobs & the next day body go wan break, other jobs kitchen porter, cleaner, waiter etc. racism na another level especially in my house, things i don't do they go report to landlady. December dey come now for someone to work 40hrs, no time sef to go hustle join because exams is in January, u choose to do well in exams or work 40hours. I feel if u earn above 180k in Nigeria as a bachelor or spinster, no need to leave that job, i made a mistake ever coming here, na canada sure pass but since i am here, i will make good use of it.
Don't ask me about the 2 years, 3 people who finished from griffith college 1 Msc Accounting and finance, 2 International Business, don return back to Nigeria as no job show after the 2 years. Bross Weldon ,, Please I want to ask about the guys that left after their msc due to no work, are they single? Also, I think the 2years post study just started 2017,does it mean they have exhausted the two years and no work either, What is faith of married parsons trying to reunite?? |

dotcomnamename: Hmmmm Smh. Don't let me talk. Maybe this Ireland is different from the Ireland that I've been living. My brother sitcom, Please share your thoughts now,i know you also stay in Ireland. But my question is will all this suffering even my immediate boss that is earning close to 500k relocate to Canada and many more... If you think relocating is for you to have a sweet life then wake up from slumber , it is only for your kids to have as that is the reason 99% reason people relocate.... One of the big banks ED' s just move his family abroad,do you think it's money NO, it's for the future of the children my brother..... My advice to our brothers that are planning to come back please make hast as Osibanjo is currently giving out N10,000 loan to individuals,N30,000 to entrepreneur ....3million jobs waiting untapped but your father must be a senator to get one. Nigeria is really flowing with milk and honey currently I think maybe because of the election next year... Waiting till next year maybe too late in terms of returning home.... 7 Likes |

Please do your research. You can Google and see the list for yourself. Someone pasted the list here sometime ago but I don't think you will have any difficulty in locating that on the internet.
You should have done this long before now before settling for a course of study which would be in line with your career path. Dear Parnerus,, You guys are doing a great job, but their is something I want us to clear.. If someone is asking a particular question I believe the person is actually deficiency in that aspect, but you see understanding matters a lot..Its like a guy that an agent is trying to persuade to pay €3000 ,everyone tried to discourage him.. Not telling the person go to internet and research then why are we hear... You that is their you may have come across issues and fact on ground.. Looking at the site in question most of the skills were not expressly started.except ICT, medical, the business lines are being coted in a way,so it still need expact to delienate into it to explain..We all know most jambite choose courses not that he/she really understand what the course entails..But the intelligent ones goes to thier supervisor to explain to them. Most agent will sell monkey fingers in the name of human hand and I think that is why people need clarity... You are doing wonderfully well oooo |

partnerus: Congratulations to all those that have been granted their visa. However, I deem it fit to give word of advise. Nigeria's image here in Ireland is seriously battered. All thanks to few cladenstine Nigerians who have made it a choice to do illegal acts here capable of denting our image. That been said, I also want to thank particularly Nigerians with student visas here. They have portrayed themselves in positive light and this to me, is a positive step in the right direction towards redressing the severely dented image of Nigeria as a country.
In same vein, I wish to humbly appeal to my Nigerian compatriots planning to come down here for schooling or whatever purpose best known to them. There are lots of opportunities here. You can make it big if you work hard and be consistent in whatever legitimate endeavour you choose to embark on. The reason is Euro is high if converted to our local naira and I am using myself as case study. With your little hustle, it's worth reasonable amount when you send back home and you won't believe what you are able to save within a reasonable time at home even while schooling here. Crime doesn't pay. Please shun acts capable of destroying our smeared image the more. Stay positive and strong even when faced with racist acts. I say this cause you definitely will experience it here. That one is certain but the truth is, don't let it deter you from forging ahead. Say to yourself, 'I can make it no matter what' . If possible, say this to yourself everyday. It will get you encouraged. Please desist from credit card scam, drug smuggling and other acts which Nigerians are infamously known for here. It pains me at work my colleagues remember me that on daily basis about the ill things which Nigerians are wrongly known for here. Pride yourself in your humble begining. For those genuine serious minded students coming to ireland, I can volunteer to answer questions in respect to work here but seriously, there are lots of jobs here for students. Please always remember where you come from. If possible take pictures of loved ones with you back home and then position it by your bedside when you get here. That will serve as a constant reminder that your people back home are waiting for you. Don't join gangs here of do what we Nigerians call 'follow follow'. There is life here and if you aren't focussed, you will loose out. Please Ireland isn't our home, Nigeria is. Always have it at the back of your mind that you will retire back home someday. I will also advise that those that have been granted visa can come in groups by boarding same flight and booking for accommodation in any of the hostels. That way, you get to exchange ideas and reduce cost to the bearest minimum and above all, stay safe and strong as first timer. I am saying from experience. I came here all alone and it wasn't funny in the first two weeks for me. God bless the Nigerian guy I met in the hostel who holds a stamp 4 visa. He was more than a brother to me. But I am not saying you should trust everyone you meet easily but the truth is, there are still some exceptionally good Nigerians out there even on foreign soil. Despite my busy schedule with school assignments and work, I have decided to respond to as much questions as I can as a give back to fellow nigerians planning to come here for study purpose. Guys over here helped me with information earlier this year while I was still in Lagos too and so I feel it's time to reciprocate same gesture. But be reminded that my responses are entirely my own opinion.
Once again, stay positive and strong.
I salute all!!! Great guy, I know you are the only one that can be down to earth. BRAVO!!! |

freeman67: Most times people's comparison comes only from where they see gain forgetting that irrespective of the fact that everybody interest is to make gain, sometime you loose too... Also gain and loss is dependent on when you are no longer holding the investment again ie when disposed off..
Why some people may see TB as the only form of investment there know, I believe majority here does it just to keep money above inflation. Also some do it to in place of something better than savings or fixed deposit. That said, we have heard from the man who exchanged Dollar and invested in NTB when the exchange rate was low and now could not get back the same sum if exchanged back to Dollar even when he had made a significant gain in Naira. Has anybody heard from those who bought Dollar in 2015 at the rate of N480- N500 believing it was going to N900-N1,000? What will be their fate if they need money now and want to convert?
Yes some bought land and it appreciated, have you thought about those that bought in some place based on particular news anticipating it was going to get high and people are still pricing below the cost price..?
In stock market back then some people bought GTB share and some bought intercontinental bank shares.. There was a time when intercontinental bank shareholders think they had something valuable but now the thinking is not same whereas the GTB shareholders are still enjoying their investment. So there is always two ways to it. Its not always a one smooth way.
Even for the Bitcoin Advocates I believe there were some people who bought when it skyrocketed back then thinking it was always going higher before it came down.. Lots of those are sitting on losses now... If there are to convert it now.
For those wanting to invest in Diamond Bank should watch it ooo even though the CBN guarantees depositors funds.. I personally do not fancy doing business with mismanaged company.
Buying Treasury bills from Diamond bank has nothing to do with investments.. Diamond bank only stand as an intermediaries between you and the government.. Make sure you have your certificate and on a second confirmation try and ask which company whaerehouse your investment.. What I mean most Company that sells TB does not keep the funds with them,i think it's a CBN rule for security purposes... Example if you buy bills from Gtb ,the bills may automatically move to zenith as a custodian of the investment... They have only selected body for investment custody 1 Like |

The answer is that it depends.
What is your time horizon for this investment? In order words, will you need to access the money sooner or later? If you want flexibility to access your cash, then money market is the way to go as these are more liquid and therefore easier to cash out in the event you want to do that.
If accessing the cash quickly is not important, then we are really looking at how the returns compare against each other. From a rate of return perspective, you will need to compare the money market rate (which is an annualized number) to the true yield on the T-bills - if not you are mixing oranges and mangoes in the comparison. The true yield for the tenors you have indicated are as follows:
91 - 11.1% 182 - 14.5% 364 - 16.3%
You also need to consider the fact that interest on T-bills is not taxable while earnings on momey market funds are taxable at 10% i believe. So on an after-tax basis, the money market return of 11.54% is 10.4%.
In short, if liquidity is more important than rate of return, then go with money market, if not, TBill is the way to go!
Please what is the current TB rate? |

Make sense. Everything is done based on appointment. You want to see your lecturer, do your immigration registration, you got to book an appointment..
The transport system is entirely different from the Nigerian kind of system. The buses for every route have been scheduled. If you miss your bus, you will have to wait for some minutes to get the next one or look for alternative route . OK Blessed I may not be tempted to ask what the opportunity of getting a job after schooling looks likes. But what of the normal working and schooling kind of jobs, how easy it is getting... |
