The Obidient Movement worldwide is unlike anything ever witnessed in Nigeria political space....

We are not like the miscreants who follow blindly, neither are we discriminatively hypocrite.

If a leader fvcks up, he gets called out, that Way, Institutions are built, not strongmen!

Even PO is not spared if he jones up....

You can keep on following blindly... that's your business, however, be sure if your follow follow puts the Nation into recession, expect wotowoto

Politics / Re: Why Are Tinubu's Supporters/paid Agents Jubilating Over Dele Farotimi's Arrest? by Bigkoko: 7:15am On Dec 05
From the way they are happy and jubilating, one can deduce it's the hand of Ade Babalola, but the voice of Asiwaju....

Bobloco:
It is no news that Dele Farotimi is in detention over an alleged defamation of character. But Tinubu's urchinstons, paid agents, BATerians, and their likes have been jubilating over his arrest.

Is it because he didn't support Tinubu's presidency and has been critical and vocal about Tinubu's maladministration and calamitous economic policies, which have inflicted extreme hunger and starvation on the citizens?

Crime / Re: UK To Deport Nigerian Pastor, Tobi Adegboyega Over Alleged £1.87m Fraud by Bigkoko: 1:06pm On Dec 04
If you make money legit.... You will quickly find out that you should not move Cash when you can do a transfer!

Moving cash is the earliest sign of money laundering or money washing from drug deals.

There's a reason why you have banks....

malali:
When you look at the people he was mixing up with

Even a blind man knows they would end up with money laundering charges eventually.

Unlike Nigeria where you can carry 1 million dollars to the bank and deposit it.

If you take 1 million dollars to the bank in America or UK, they will tell you to sit while they process it, they will go to the back and call the police immediately.

Especially if you are a
black man or woman

Less than 0.05% of black people in the whole world have a million dollars

We, however have a 100 times more white people with over a million dollars.

But every time they charge financial money laundering crime its a black man. The minute you are wealthy outside Nigeria, they will start investigating your source of wealth if you are black.

Stop enabling illiterates into power because it suits your political, religious or social whelms!

A civil matter should be treated as a civil matter.... arresting Dele is part of broader reason why some of you will die of hungry soon! If you enable these illiterates, they will devour you at the time you leaset expect because there wuill be no Institute independent enough to challenge them when they abuse powers through their connections to govt in power!

If Dele is ready, he should also go after Elumelu and his assets abroad.... at least he will be given opportunity to prove how he abuses the priviledeges conferred on hiim by wealth, power and closeness to the present Executive govt! He might be lucky and a judge will see reason to compensate him wirth part of his assets abroad!

Politics / Tax Politics, A Weapon Designed In SW: Say No To Asiwaju Alpha Beta Pro Max Plan by Bigkoko: 4:10pm On Dec 03
Dear Nigerians, do you guys seriously feel comfortable allowing a man who became governors like others but left successfully converting Lagos to his personal fiefdom & purse? Do you know how indebted Lagos became because of this here fellow? Have you guys realized how indebted Lagos became after Asiwaju left? Do you niggas for once ever think about the role Alpha Beta is playing in Lagos, and how no one dare question the Company?

Western countries has a reason they protect their countries from people like Asiwaju, like Death, people like him are never ok! But it will culminate in him eating up himself like the Greek legend! Outside politics or drug dealing they have no life, no soul or anything you can say makes him a normal human! Don't think I am attacking him. As i am that kind of person that prefers to watch the actions of a man and judge him based on that`, rather than some shitty documents that would be changed last minute to reflect their true intentions...I think you and no sane person should support Asiwaju Reform to more fraud!

If he is so serious about taking Nigeria to a new El Dorado, not that of Lagos, he should first of all, or accompany it forthwith, two other Reforms that makes States feeding the whole Country through Oil & gas to get at least 80% of the oil & gas earnings. This will help Deltan Niger states. He should also, make any reform that targets the Food industry...making sure all food items coming from the North are tax from a Value chain point of view. But I blame the Daura clown! he was busy sending funds to terrorist in Afghanistan and other societal misnormals, and forgot he has a country to rule! But if ASiwaju claims he has more sense than Buhari, he should do the job Buhari failed to do!

Reforms in three key sectors will kick start Nigeria on the path to true federations! But illiterate, self-centered regional tribalist will think otherwise.

VAT = Value Added Tax. It's simply that extra payment you add when ever you make a purchase for a service or a goods. Most of my companies scattered across the globe pay all sorts of taxes and in some situations get tax refunds and other perks from sane govts.

Tax politics.
Tax politics is simply a tendency to use tax reforms to foist advantages on your cliques, region or govt. Taxes could be weaponised to make others do your bindings... recently the incoming POTUS threatened BRICS nations to unleashed sanctions as well as 100% tax on their goods & services. He didn't threaten to nuke them because at least three of the BRICS Nations all have their own Nukes fully cocked, primed ready to reciprocate. He simply used TAX...Yes...TAX could be weaponised as a legal license to fvck you and your descendents till Pluto become a planent again.

Now baba Emilokan, sensing he might not return to ASO ROCK post 2027, is in a hurry to do something for his family...baba don old. What do you think he is doing going around with bros Seyi? OHH yeaaa...you guys said I be drug bagman...no problem ni, my pikin Seyi no dey do drugs, I will hand over my kingdom to him...you all should serve him. Well, ronus can serve him faaa, nothing concern an Okoro with what happens in ronu enclave..except they bring it out to national mainstraeam.

Babab Bulablu has been advised that in other to make Lagos continually attractive to everyone and by large ensure the spread effects gets to other SW region, he should focus more on TAX reforms that would end up as a dagger to the throat of other Region! Is Lagos not a dagger to the throat of other regions with its Monopoly of shipping, even though other regions possessed more economical avenues to make shipping hubs too? Baba Emilokan poisoned charlice is good, but no thanks, keep it for Oduduwanistan.

Why? Someone would want to ask!!!! If you takes your taxe reforms so serious because it confers some advantages to you in Lagos, while it is overly disadvantageous to Abia state...why should Abia state still be forced to share the chunk of its huge gas & oil resources with you! Go check all true federations, states get to keep the chunk of their resources, while states that has only population to offer get to use tax and other incentives to sustain their population.
To this end, Asiwaju tax reforms that confers unimaginable advantages to Lagos & SW should hold their peace and shelve their reforms. If Asiwaju is keen on effecting reforms. This is what he should do!

Reform the food Sector to confer advantage to the Hausa Fulani region. The region can and should foist taxes on every grain of bean or rice grown there and shipped down south, including carrots. This will increase the cost of food, while also putting more money in the farmers hand. The locas with more money, will have more reason to turn against Boko Haram and reclaim their farming region. But the evil, wicked always competing blacks will never want everyone else to grow as they grow! This will put more money on the hands of the North and clearly show them that free money can also be sourced from the North! Recently

Lastly, like the terrorist sympathizer DR Isa Patami rightly observed, there is a deep mistrust between a govt led by a man who converted a State in the federation into his private fiefdom and the innocent Nigerians seeking means to survive the calamity same appostle of tax reforms brought!
Say No to Asiwaju planned Alpha Beta Pro Max! Lagosians were busy eating Amala and dancing owanmbe while baba Emilokan stole their state from them...ever since, baba no wan leave Lagos alone!

It's not perculiar to Nigerians, its Blacks in general. Nigerians, sometimes if you jam those from same conservative religion or tribe like you might help.... But in general, blacks are something else in the West!

Forget the nonsense of been implicated... if you accommodate someone and the person turns out to be some else, the West are pudent enough to find out and let you off the hook.... but black hearts filled with tribalism and competition or fear to let the other know they are not doing well compared to the pictures they upload on Socail media wont let so many of them to be human!

Poor baby!

Onegai:
So painful!

I wish she had a support system, even the local mosque she attends or Nigerian community to rely on.

The Nigerians in the UK are not very communal-minded, everyone is in their own enclaves and mind their business. Even when they form groups, it's rarely to help out but how to benefit from taking advantage of one another.

Nigerians are not very helpful in general.

If she was Indian, a family would have taken that toddler in.

We need to do better as a society.

Politics / Re: Propaganda DOESNT Build A Refinery: PH Refinery Shuts Down! by Bigkoko: 3:35am On Dec 02
I agree 100% with you...

There a wired, red hot propensity for most Nigerians to behave foolishly, irresponsible and brazenly Stupids when tribes, religion or politics is involve. The so called elites are not spared from this ugly scourge..... If not, those who supported the Daura clown from 2015 t0 2023 even when it was clear he was running the country aground, majority still support the usurper in Aso Rock... Check well, the propensity to behave foolishly is always there.

Krucifax:
Fantastic write up and very insightful. Especially the bits about truck drivers requesting refunds and the bit about obsolete machinery parts for the refinery. But like all wise words will fall on deaf hears, with comments like "give baba time" "Its because your'e Igbo" "you're a wailer" "etc etc". I often wondered if these are genuine people saying this or paid political bots trying to sway opinion, but alas i came to realise with great dismay that these voices represent a scary mass of Nigerians.

The truth i learned a long time ago is that the majority of Nigerians (easily 85%) are not very bright. They also have below average intellect when faced with matters that goes beyond football, food and procreation. They excel in ignorance, bias, bigotry and their personal favourite religiosity.

Unfortunately the small minority of right thinking Nigerians do not form enough of a powerful cluster to cause any change. You have two options left, join them in squalor or take advantage of them. The latter has been adopted by religious and polictical leaders and foreign entities to amass power and wealth at the expense of the gullible and irredemable masses.

Its like being on a farm, the cow's only function is to provide milk and meat as it can not be reasoned with. So too the majority of our people can not be reasoned with. Sad as it is, it also presents opportunities once you adorn yourself with the cloak of amorality. If you can't help them and they refuse to be helped, you might as well eat them.

My friend, using the name "Oyedel" or 'Okoro"does not connote an individual but a generic description of realities on ground! If you have been following govt policies and the part it plays on people now resorting suicide in SW, the latest been that which happened in Ogun state few days ago.

Nowhere was a single tribe singled out I this write up. pray tell if you find a place!

The message clearly portrays a greedy fellow purportedly cursed by the gods for been too greedy! That person is Asiwaju, not the Yorubas...and I do not believe hose Yoruba miscreants here on Nairaland speaks for all Yorubas.... does hellinus the legendary clown speak for y'all? He is out in another threading calling for extra judicial execution of a man illegally redentioned and who no court in Nigeria has been found wanting despite been in court under two different presidents!

I assumed you have sense, that is why I spend time with this vawulence -free response!

yommen:
Why is it that simple write-ups cannot be done without bringing tribalism into it? The same refinery was there under Jonathan but he couldn't do anything. So why tribalise corruption?

Why your whole write up is a trash is the fact that you claimed it's Oyedele that voted Buhari and Tinubu. Can you kindly do a personal analysis on the last election results with the same energy? 60% of the votes that brought in Tinubu is from the north. Tinubu lost in the South. He lost in Lagos, his domain. If the election was by the south alone, Obi is the president but Atiku even lost to Tinubu in the north but it's still Yorubas that bear the blame.
