Admissions
(a) Candidates seeking admission to the University for first-degree courses must obtain and complete the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms and take the examination.
(b) For admission to all courses, candidates must satisfy the admission requirements of the University. For
some courses; additional School/Departmental requirements have to be satisfied.
(c) New Admissions will normally be made only in September/October every year.
(d) At the time of registration at this University, each candidate will be required to present the originals of
the certificates or any other acceptable evidence of thequalifications on the basis of which the offer of admission has been made.
(e) If it is discovered at any time that a candidate does not possess any of the qualifications which he/she claims to have obtained, he/she will be expelled from the University.
(f) Students shall, on admission pay to the University, all the fees prescribed by regulations.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL

THE SCHOOLS

All courses are of five years duration except for Architecture, which is for six years.

Admission to all courses is mainly through the U. M. E.

1. Entry Requirements:

i. 5 ‘O’ level credit passes at not more than two sittings preferably including English Language.

ii. However a pass in English Language in any of the following examinations would be acceptable

Hello pals....wishing all our friends here that opted in for the new departments best of God in their exams.
For those awaiting COC list you need to pray well for it to be released..heard some names will be release with the D.E list.
As for D.E students your list will be out sooner than later but the pathetic part is that only few students are considered.e.g Archi is just admitting 5 students out of the innumerable students that chose the course.

I learnt some of you are paying to someone for admission help,he's only deceiving you.Pay to no one.
As for the acceptance payment the date will be extended if only the problem is general and for my coc friends the list is on its way.
The good news is that all that opted in for the coc will be considered for admission,confirmed this from the school Bursar.so discard any info that not all coc students will be admitted and for any D E who is yet to summit his or her transcript by this time should consider him or herself out for this year admission process.D.E list is set.

Admission in FUTA is very competitive now,The reason why good courses (so to say) are not in change of course is because some of you guys who did extra-ordinary well will still get your preferred courses.so they dont want more people to jostle for them...make sure you obtain the coc form if you really want to gain admission,don't wait till next year....Next year maybe worse.A bird at hand........

Applications are hereby invited for admission into the following Departments. Applicants should be qualified candidates who made FUTA their Most Preferred Choice Institution during the 2015 UTME. Such candidates must have scored not less than 180 in the UTME and not less than 50% in the P-UTME of the University. In addition, candidates must have taken the relevant UTME subjects and posses a minimum of five (5) relevant Ordinary Level/SSCE credit passes. The credit passes must have been obtained at not be more than two (2) sittings. Candidates who have been offered provisional admission need not apply. Heard Futa wld only be admitting 2k plus this year. I.e EEE planning 2 admit only 40 candidates (dunno aw true this is but thts wht I heard). So pls be prayerful and if u knw anybody 4 skl,pls dnt jst sit @ home expecting a miracle o even wth ur high score... Peace!
